TOM TERRIFIC HERE WITH ANOTHER HONEST BUSINESS REVIEW…read more I needed to find a new lab to get my blood work done because Quest kept sending me a bill for the work that is covered by my two insurance agencies. I went to Labcorp and they were not kind nor helpful. Plus the lady wanted me to get the work done even though she couldn't tell me if they accept my insurance so i walked out. Sure am glad i found Physicians Stat lab on Water St. The receptionist was very helpful, told me they took Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance and did my paper work for me. The other places they want you to do all that yourself, thus eliminating someone's job. Well the waiting room was full so I expected a long wait but she called my name in ten minutes, she took my blood and urine sample and out the door i went. I really like this place and i hope you have the fast, courteous service i got.

I would give this Lab a 10 star if I could! I took my 13 year old son in for his first blood work…read moreappointment and he could not have received better service. Form the moment we walked in we were greeted with a positive and warm hello. the 2 women working were so friendly and all smiles. When it was time to go back the tech was comforting and caring to him as he was nervous and so was I. She talked him through the whole process and within minutes he was done. She was very quick and accurate in her work. Again I could not have asked for a better place. The front desk receptionist was also amazing and great at what she does. There was a line of people in her waiting area and she never once seemed frustrated or unpleasant. We were self pay as my son does not have insurance because it would be close to $400 p/m to add him on mine. They offer extremely reasonable pricing for their tests and Wednesdays are HALF PRICE!! I wish they accepted my work insurance, Cigna, because I would gladly go here over Quest Labs any day for my blood work. A HUGE THANK YOU to the ladies at PSL on Water St in New Port Richey! We need more people like you both in the world.

I am beyond appalled at the treatment my 90-year-old mother received after her ablation and…read morepacemaker surgery on April 9th. The care she received was way below poor quality--it was total neglect and a serious failure to meet the basic standard of care. This is not just an unhappy comment; this is a much more serious situation involving the health and safety of a vulnerable patient. At one point, she had an accident on the floor and in her bed, and they chose to leave the floor dirty for 30 minutes. instead of changing her sheets, they just put a pad over the wet bed and left her lying there. This is a massive infection risk and a complete disregard for patient dignity and sanitation. The food was also completely unacceptable. It actually smelled bad, the bread was hard as a rock, and the nuggets were mushy and inedible. When she asked for crackers, the nurse never even returned. When she finally saw her again and asked about them, the nurse just said they didn't have any. On top of that, she was left sitting in the bathroom by herself for over 30 minutes until she literally had to scream for help. She is 90 years old and just had heart surgery; leaving her unattended like that is a terrifying fall risk and a failure of safety protocols. To make matters worse, the doctor had a terrible attitude with my sister just for asking questions, and then he made my mother wait until 2:30 PM the next day to finally be discharged. Since coming home, she is feeling terribly sick and has developed a horrible cough, which I'm sure is from the neglect and the unsanitary conditions she was forced to endure. I'm shocked that a hospital can be this bad. The nurses on duty after her surgery on April 9 mid-day and all day on April 10th, clearly need basic training on how to actually do their jobs and treat patients with respect. We felt totally rushed into this because of a referral, but after seeing the other comments here, it's clear this is a systemic issue. I've already called to report this and I will be following up with the patient advocate to ensure no other elderly patient is treated with such negligence.

Diane was told that the CD is ready for pickup at the SR 52 location in Port Richey, FL. I hope that I will be treated better now that I have a signed permission statement from my wife, Diane Bliven! Very upsetting that that the permission was on the reverse side. Plus, TGH does not help me find Tower Radiology - perhaps better signage will help people find your location more easily! Roy Bliven

I brought an extra order for an X-ray and asked if I could get this completed on top of what I had scheduled. They said it would not be a problem. They gave me the paperwork, I completed it and was called in for the X-ray before my scheduled imaging test. The X-ray tech was extremely nice and although I knew this test would be uncomfortable as I am still recovering from surgery, she did everything in her power to make me as comfortable as possible and to keep my privacy. My next test was another test that is never comfortable, the dreaded mammogram. This tech was also so very nice. She made sure to not over squeeze the girls as we know this hurts so very much. I often leave this test in tears. Not this time. I can tell you the care received today was great compared to some imaging places recently been to. I will be back.

If you do a meet and greet dry-run to the location, as I did... just be sure your doctor has given…read moreyou the proper address. Mine didn't. With that clearly stated, I want to stress that the 7509 State Road 52 office has been relocated and is now situated in its own, new constructed building at 7525 S.R. 52 (as of March of 2014). Fortunately, it is in the same parking lot, just out by road (see pictures) I have made the effort to update the address here on Yelp to help my fellow Yelpers. I arrived and was glad I did the dry run. The old office is vacant. Once inside I was lead to a phone where I could schedule an appointment. Dial 151 and you get the scheduler after a bit of a wait - I was third and thatbwait was about ten minutes and unfortunately my call was disconnected. I called back and got Lorraine, I believe her name was. She was incredibly helpful during that second call. She was quite knowledgeable and helped me read the doctor's handwriting without actually being there... Love this person already because I didn't major in hieroglyphics. She also knew the area and suggested a place where I could have my blood drawn, which was required by my doctor. Overall my call lasted 27 minutes, so perhaps you can use that to determine if you would want to do your scheduling from home or not. I found the staff at Radiology Associates to be neatly dressed, polite and very helpful. Parking (see pictures): is very ample - approximately 60 spots with 5 more reserved for those who are handi-"capable". Directions: Take State Road 52 to Zimmerman (there is a traffic light there). If coming from the west turn left (make a right, if you are coming from the east). At the T intersection make a right and drive straight ahead. The building you want will be on your right. Enter through the doors closest to S.R. 52... appears to be suite 101.
