I'm talking about Zac, Vanessa & Elizabeth. They are not only gentle with the needle, allow use of the butterfly needle unlike the others, but are friendly, patient, sweet & easy to work with. Their kinder in a stressful pandemic situation than others were outside a pandemic. Unfortunately Zac is at another location now and Vanessa floats to different locations. Fortunately Elizabeth is still there... for now. The location is good about Covid safety. They are now by appointment only so you're in the office with no more than 1 other person. You only walk in once you get the text to go in after you check in on your phone. They check your temp when you walk in, not that that helps asymptomatic cases, but they can only do what they can. They have Purell hand sanitizers, not the cheap dollar store Assured brand a doctors office had that was FDA recalled for methanol! So glad I slathered that baby on all over :/

So I made an appointment at the location so that I would collect on site and not have any issues. I just got my results back this morning and in the results it said that since the sample was over 2 hours old it is not a good test. This means either the front desk staff was incompetent and did not get my sample back to the lab considering it was in my hands for less than 15 minutes before giving it to them or it was not handled properly by the staff once received in the lab. I cannot trust that any of my future tests are going to be handled by them properly.

The kiosk check-in was easy. Natasha at the desk called me up within 5 minutes and quickly and kindly got me all checked in. There was one time a technician bruised me so badly after a blood draw, I ended up with a gigantic bruise around the injection site for 4 weeks. No joke, 4 weeks. My sister thought I had gotten into a fight, it was so bad. Located in a shopping plaza on the corner of Pilkington and Boones Ferry Road, this LabCorp can be tricky to find. You go through the glass door, up the stairs or elevator, then out the glass door on the second floor. See photo. I've been to this LabCorp several times already for blood work and each time, it's a clean draw, no bruises whatsoever. Not sure how they do it, but I feel comforted knowing that when I come to this location for blood draw, they can do no harm. I always request for a baby needle and to let them know I bruise like a peach. And each time, they would oblige my request. After each draw, they'll wrap my arm with compression bandages so firm pressure can be applied to avoid bruising. I knocked off a star because I've had problems getting my blood results in the past to the point where I have to come in person to find out what the holdup was. My doctor's office and I both have had a hard time reaching a live person on the telephone, hence for the in-person visit. TIP: Blood work results will take a few days and if your doctor's office still has not heard from LabCorp, have them call their customer service line at 800-676-8033 to obtain results. Individual LabCorp facilities will not have results, they only collect specimens. Other than their piss poor administrative abilities, the technicians here are friendly and competent at what they do. It's one of the better LabCorp locations, in my opinion.

I was not informed that additional procedures and charges would be added beyond my expected specialist copay. When I contacted billing to explain my concern, the responses focused only on explaining the billing codes and did not address my main issue: that I was not given the information needed to make an informed financial decision before the procedure. What has been most frustrating is the lack of ownership and follow-up from the center. After submitting a formal concern, I did not receive a clear response or explanation, and the charge later reappeared without any communication. Patients deserve transparency, clear communication, and a fair opportunity to understand the financial implications of their care before services are performed. I hope this center improves its process for handling patient concerns.

This review is for her ER nurse Hannah. She was rude and condescending to my mom when she asked for an ultrasound IV. Instead of honoring what the doctor said she went ahead and dug a needle into her any way. When that didn't work she went and sent other nurses in to try and poke around on her. My mom refused to let them. The nurses rolled their eyes and left the room. ER nurse Hannah should learn some compassion and manner!

Went to get a blood draw done and was told I needed a request from my doctor. I was told I had to leave and have my doctor's office fax over the request. This all used to be done electronically by the previous vendor. No communication from LabCorp on this requirement. What a waste of time. Bad on Providence for using this vendor and for LabCorp for poor customer service and communication.

I love that they allow hemochromatosis patients to…read moregive blood with a prescription but really do not like how difficult they make donating. 1) I've received scar tissue in my arm from bad needle jabs. 2) Scheduling for therapeutic draws is needlessly complex and the donation must be done during M-F, not on the weekends. 3) The attitude is really odd and off-putting, especially compared to the Red Cross where the people they serve seem to be the focus rather than the employee. 4) They don't allow kids on the premises. Red Cross does. Doctors offices do. As a working parent with few babysitting options, this seems pretty inequitable. I love the idea that the blood I have to get out of my body can be used for donations but Bloodworks NW makes it such an obnoxious experience, I will donate at the Red Cross when I can and have my doctor'a office do the phlebotomy and discard the blood when I can't.
