Their kinder in a stressful pandemic situation than others were outside a pandemic. Unfortunately Zac is at another location now and Vanessa floats to different locations. Fortunately Elizabeth is still there... for now. The location is good about Covid safety. They are now by appointment only so you're in the office with no more than 1 other person. You only walk in once you get the text to go in after you check in on your phone. They check your temp when you walk in, not that that helps asymptomatic cases, but they can only do what they can. They have Purell hand sanitizers, not the cheap dollar store Assured brand a doctors office had that was FDA recalled for methanol! So glad I slathered that baby on all over :/

So I made an appointment at the location so that I would collect on site and not have any issues. I just got my results back this morning and in the results it said that since the sample was over 2 hours old it is not a good test. This means either the front desk staff was incompetent and did not get my sample back to the lab considering it was in my hands for less than 15 minutes before giving it to them or it was not handled properly by the staff once received in the lab. I cannot trust that any of my future tests are going to be handled by them properly.

This review is for her ER nurse Hannah. She was rude and condescending to my mom when she asked for an ultrasound IV. Instead of honoring what the doctor said she went ahead and dug a needle into her any way. When that didn't work she went and sent other nurses in to try and poke around on her. My mom refused to let them. The nurses rolled their eyes and left the room. ER nurse Hannah should learn some compassion and manner!

She starts in saying my son is dehydrated and has a elevated pulse and we will do an IV if I agree to that, I said yes that's why we came in, I knew he needed fluids and could not keep anything down. Then she starts in on questions his vaccine records when I said he wasn't she presses me for why is he not vaccinated then proceeded to ask if I wanted to start today a vaccine protocol Today. Her tone and demeanor changed dramatically during this short conversation. she became rude and hostile. Then at the end of questing she say well I think he should hydrate orally and leaves the room. She clearly changed her plan of care after she heard we don't vaccinate. Which is discrimination, what my belief system are have nothing to do with the care I should receive for my child. She comes back in 3 hours latter to check in with us. When she did she proceeded to be rude and short with us, stating our sons heart rate was still elevated and questioning if he's always so hard to wait up as she sternum rubs him awake. Tell us that the kids can't go back to school until they are symptom free for over 24 hours. That we are being discharge. Never once said I hope you feel better to my child. I said thank you for your care at the end and she just turned and left the room no your welcome or happy to help nothing cold and rude the whole time. She Never once showed any kindness or respect for me or my child.

Went to get a blood draw done and was told I needed a request from my doctor. I was told I had to leave and have my doctor's office fax over the request. This all used to be done electronically by the previous vendor. No communication from LabCorp on this requirement. What a waste of time. Bad on Providence for using this vendor and for LabCorp for poor customer service and communication.

I love that they allow hemochromatosis patients to…read moregive blood with a prescription but really do not like how difficult they make donating. 1) I've received scar tissue in my arm from bad needle jabs. 2) Scheduling for therapeutic draws is needlessly complex and the donation must be done during M-F, not on the weekends. 3) The attitude is really odd and off-putting, especially compared to the Red Cross where the people they serve seem to be the focus rather than the employee. 4) They don't allow kids on the premises. Red Cross does. Doctors offices do. As a working parent with few babysitting options, this seems pretty inequitable. I love the idea that the blood I have to get out of my body can be used for donations but Bloodworks NW makes it such an obnoxious experience, I will donate at the Red Cross when I can and have my doctor'a office do the phlebotomy and discard the blood when I can't.
