I went here five years ago and thought I would never come back I came here today because it was right underneath my doctor's office To keep it short, there is a Front Desk lady there with brown hair, who is very very rude and comes across as combative I have blood drawn at different places you usually walk in they ask you they're kind of there with you. They're pleasant. You get a chance to let them know if you need it sent to any other doctors and or if you need a rhythm copy yourself. The way they hear is always sitting there with almost no one in there both class and rude and calls you sweetie, and this in that, but when it comes to actually doing her job, she's constantly making excuses constantly putting you down and telling her what you shouldn't shouldn't do anything even when you ask her nicely she doesn't do what a normal person at that job would do I basically left the blood draw because the lady who drew my blood also said you have to ask her and I go out there and nicely. Ask her you know what I really need the scent to two other doctors can I give you their names and in a very combative matter, she made me she chastise me for not saying that when I first came in and told me it's too late I can't do it. I won't go into details, but this is rude. This is passing on the book to your client if she's not being paid for this I don't know what she's being paid for and luckily I had to press on it and told her I'm not going home and doing all this other work. I have 1 million other doctors appointment. This is your job and I would appreciate it if you made a little easier on me on top of that I'm Neurodiverse and I'm sick and anyways with three more chastisement she finally did this for me. She couldn't even find their fax numbers. I mean, I've worked in medical offices. You don't keep the person waiting. You say OK we'll do that and then you do that and they leave and they can count and you're doing that but this I don't know if this isn't happening anymore and especially not in this office but she continues all of this rush at being an angrily in front of other clients. All I'm saying is I left the office crying and so exhausted. So if if you were sick if you're retired, if you have, if you're elderly, if you have someone who's not doing too well please don't go here for your services. It's not worth the chastisement than the abuse. And it probably won't happen and nothing against this lady, but she really needs to not be working in this field or maybe not working at all. I mean I'm a person who gives people a lot of slack but this is actually just not ethical like she should be fired and go through the system again it's it's terrible. It's terrible. I really like this labcorps location. I get routine bloodwork done twice a year, and while it's never fun, the staff at this location makes it as painless as possible. I appreciate that I can check in via phone from my car and they will text me when they are ready for me. I have had several times through the years where they struggled to find all the orders from my DR - but it has been super smooth since I started bringing a paper copy of the orders with me. Adequate parking. Technicians are friendly and definitely know what they are doing. When it's colder or I'm dehydrated, my veins don't present as generously, but the techs have always been able to get what they need with very little discomfort. I always make an appointment and I'm usually done in 20 minutes. Thanks for making something not usually on my fun list quick, easy, and painless. read more

Yay! An efficient, professional (yet personable/helpful staff. Getting an appointment online is the way to go. It is super easy... if you have any issues, go in and the staff will be glad to help you. They don't make you feel like it is truly no problem and you are not ignorant if you don't understand. Time waiting in the waiting room (or involved your car!) when you have an appt takes little time. If you made the appt by just walking on doesn't seem like a problem as I watched other patients * they were handled respect​fully & patiently to fit them in. Let me preface this by saying - yes the whole world is understaffed still (right?) But there comes a point where you cant keep using that as an excuse. 1. Their scheduling system is always down - I tried multiple time to get an appointment but their system sent error codes. So I tried calling - and was told if the system was down Id have to take my chances and show up. 2. Their waiting room is obscenely tiny - they allow 4 people in and kick everyone else out. So while I was there 3 older individuals were allowed to stay inside, while 2 parents with wheelchairbound children were told to stay outside. 3. The staff is rude. People are inside, its crowded and a woman (not the receptionist) comes out and says "the sign says 3 people (what sign??) If you dont have a chair you need to go outside, we will call you. 4. The receptionist couldnt be bothered to help - I asked if their check in system had a way of verifying that paperwork had been recieved. My doctor told me it had been sent over, but I wanted to confirm (since sometimes these things get lost in transit). She says "if your doctor sent it over they sent it over, check in and if we take you back there and the paperwork isnt in we'll get you an appointment to come back"... 5. Honestly highly recommend avoiding this place - Im only here because my doctor assigned me here rather than the place I usually go to. 6. I was hesitant to go to this lab because of the negative reviews. I chose to go anyway, because my Dr. placed an order through them. To my great surprise and relief, I found this lab to be exceptional. I was greeted immediately and helped through the automated check in process. All the personnel I interacted with were exceptional. Start with the pathetic check in computer ... you enter all your info publicly and everyone in the room can see your info. Then the poor processing after that. Poor guy ahead of me had called the day before to be sure his insurance would be taken, but no it was questioned again. He asked if the receptionist could check with the insurance company. Noooo way. To much work for said receptionist. He left without care. It takes about sixty seconds to verify insurance but they still want a credit card anyway. I finally just left as well. I've been here numerous times, mostly because it's close to my doctor's office. The technicians are friendly and professional. The front desk and administration are atrocious. First, when you call their phone number (805) 434-9337, there is no option to speak to a person in the Templeton office. Although this is supposed to be for the Templeton branch, you can't get through to a live person. I pressed the Patient Service option and got a recording. I left my phone number and a message. Do you think they called my back? (answer: no) My most recent visit was 3-4 weeks ago. I asked for a copy of the results. The woman at the office verified that my address was correct and wrote "CC" on the order. My physician told me the results approximately two weeks ago. Do you think I had a copy mailed to me, as agreed to? Of course not. Does anybody actually manage this place? Pretty unprofessional. Do you think they read reviews and care? Don't think so. I will try a different lab next time. read more

As far as labs go this place is nice. Clean, happy staff. It was really quick and efficient. What more can I say. Draw blood and the off for breakfast as the fast is now over. Thanks for everthing. For those coming in go to the end of Posada Lane and enter in last right driveway. read more

Labcorp in general is awful! They have zero customer service. I would have preferred to provide zero stars if I could have. I went in for a lab test on 3/2/2022. Labcorp sent me an email 3 days later stating my results were in. Although, when I went to my portal -0- results were there. After 2 weeks of chasing my results, writing emails to CS and calling and leaving 3 messages for the lab directly, where the testing was done. I received NO response, zero! At the end of March, Labcorp sent another email stating your results are in. At that point who cares. I had to go to another lab - Dignity Health lab (which I got my results in 3 days). Later when I contacted Labcorp's billing department to ask for a credit of my $20 co-pay. Mind you they had already gotten paid $850 from my insurance company. They refused to credit me $20. I will never go to Labcorp again, they're more expensive and they don't care about YOU or your health. They've conveniently made it so you can NEVER reach an actual CS representative. It's like being on a hamster wheel. The other lab I went to gave me a card with their phone number - in case there was any problem. Wow! what a nice concept - a little customer service, can go a long ways. I'd avoid Labcorp all together, there's many lab options out there that aren't greedy BIG corporations like Labcorp. Labcorp has obviously cut CS staff to further line their pockets. Because they no longer have a customer service staff to assist you. They've forgotten about their customers along the way! And at the actual lab, the staff acts like their doing you a favor to assist you :( read more

I had an appointment today, 3/30/20. I would note that today, we are in the midst of a pandemic! I entered the office to find the patients were masked up, but the receptionist and helper, were not! Upon entering the room, NO ONE IN THE BUILDING WAS WEARING A MASK OR PROTECTION. NO WERE THEY KEEPING DISTANCE AS PRECRIBED BY THE CDC!!!! I also noted 3 elderly elderly folks in the office. If I could give this a zero I would. My doctor ordered my annual lab draw plus hormone panel. This lab only did the hormone panel so now I have to go and get my labs done again. The lab in Templeton is extremely incompetent. read more

Arrived after lunch, got in right away. Very friendly staff, and results posted the next day. I would highly recommend this.

The phlebotomist was very kind, but the sanitation practices in this office need improvement. She did not put on clean gloves before taking my blood sample and did not swab my arm with alcohol before inserting the needle. Who knows what she touched with those dirty gloves before touching me and how long she was wearing them, not to mention not cleaning my skin beforehand. This does not seem safe to me, especially during a pandemic. read more

Today I went to Templeton Lab Corp to have blood draw after driving 30 miles to get there. I am a senior woman and a 30 mile trip for me is not always easy. I arrived @ 3:23 to find the doors were locked even though the sign states new hours and closing at 3:30. I could see a woman sitting behind the desk so I knocked trying to get her attention, it took some doing to get her to come to the door, told her the sign says 3:30 and My iPhone says it's 3:23, she said there clock says it's after 3:30, I told her how far I drove and it wasn't 3:30 yet. She was unwilling to allow me service, was evident she didn't care. Simply put, closed shop early , glad she's not my employee. I hope her manager reads this. read more

LabCorp has advertised hours showing they are open until 5:30 PM. However, after planning a series of doctors visits for my son, I arrived to find a paper notice changing their closing time to 4:00PM this means we lose a critical day to diagnose an infection. While it's a regrettable customer experience, I see it as an indicator of how the business is managed. Central Coast Pathology is a better choice. read more

Arrived early morning. Waited outside till there was only 2 patients in the lobby but I still didn't go in as one of the 2 patients was NOT wearing mask even though the sign on the window said masks were required. After she left, I went in and check in. Then one other person came in which made 3 of us but low and behold, a 4th person ignoring the limit of 3 at a time entered. I don't understand why the staff does NOT enforce wearing masks and limiting the number of persons in the VERY little lobby. To add to this terrible experience, they don't sanitize seating after person is called nor do they provide sanitized ink pens. Unfortunately, I have no other choice unless I drive all the way to SLO! read more

Lorraine was awesome I hadn't had my blood work done in 32 years she was very patient very good. No waiting time got right in. I had Lanacane patches that help tremendously so if you're afraid of needles like me you need to get Lanacane patches prescribed by your doctor put them on three hours before and you don't feel a thing took them to the hospital with me using for my IVs and my blood work after my surgery. went for a simple T3 & T4 lab test. I got there and realized I forgot my requisition and I signed in and told the front desk person what was up. She immediately told me to call my doctor. There were exactly 2 other persons in the waiting room. I made 3. This front desk woman was a wreck and was also wearing gloves, which was not cool, while on the computer. Like where have these blue gloves already been lady? Anyway since she did not offer to or obviously care to call the office to request they fax my requisition, I did from my cell. She was running around behind the counter like a mad woman, with still only three of us in the waiting room. the woman sitting next to me she yells at saying "what is your phone number?". The woman looks at me and says her phone number out loud to the receptionist in blue gloves [like is she the phlebotomist or the receptionist?]. Then the woman in the waiting room says "I have been coming here for many years now" to which the woman in blue gloves replies , "well you are not in our system". Woman rolls her eyes. I already have read the fax off the business card on the counter to my doc's receptionist who says she pulled my chart, can see the test ordered and will immediately fax to the number I gave her. When I sit down and start chatting with the woman who is not in their system I just calmly wait about ten minutes, then ask the receptionist if she has received the fax. She firmly states NO. When she later comes to the door to ask the lady I was speaking to to come back I nicely ask "have you received my requisition from Dr Zoe yet?" and she said I told you no. I then got up and walked out and went next door to my favorite restaurant to buy myself breakfast. I did not want to stress over something so petty and so I thought I can return after the meal if I want and they will probably have the test requisition by then. When I returned the same woman was there in her blue gloves {were they the same gloves?] and nobody was in the waiting room at all. [I think now I know why}. She yells from somewhere "just sign in" to which I reply "I signed in one hour ago". She looked at me and said "I got your requisition in the fax but you were gone". Like that was a crime or something, right. I thought it was just a good use of my time. She was pissed off that I left. So I said to her "Lady, there are no customers here and you are running around as if there are fifty people waiting for a lab draw". Why are you so stressed out?" . To which she replied "I do not need to take your sarcasm". I asked if there was another person who would be able to draw my lab and she stormed of yelling "yes". Another woman came up front, was pissy with me because I guess her coworker told her to be pissy to me and I proceeded to the back. She was a snot to me as well and it sucks to have somebody who is pissy sticking a needle into you, you know? NEVER RETURNING TO THIS PLACE! I have been to this lab many times! I have had no trouble there at all. The woman at the desk has been very reasonable and the woman who draws blood was very nice too. I do try to go, if I am not fasting, later in the day or in the afternoon as I know they might be busy early on. read more
