Came here for an employment drug test. I had my two children with me. I already had a very difficult time making an appointment and had to drive out of my area just to get one in the required time frame. I checked into my appointment 30 minutes early. As soon as I walk in the very unfriendly employee at the front desk asked me in a rude tone if I had an appointment. I told her I did. She then told me that I can't have my children with me. I told her that it didn't state that anywhere when I made the appointment. I asked if they could wait in the lobby, she said no. She had another very unfriendly and unprofessional woman come speak to me to tell me that "they can't babysit my kids for me". Not once did I ever ask them to. I told them I would be back and made arrangements for my husband to come get them. But because this is out of my area, he couldn't be there for 50 minutes. This would make me 20 minutes late for my appointment. I went back and told them the situation and asked if they could still honor my appointment 20 minutes after. The woman told me she couldn't because the computers stop working at 2:30pm. This made no sense, because my appointment was at 2:30pm. How would the computers stop working?? THEN she had the audacity to tell me she had another suggestion and that I could leave my kids in the car. In California if they are under 12, that is illegal and unsafe! I left in TEARS! I was humiliated and frustrated with the entire experience. Low and behold, I check the website for their policy and it actually says I can leave my children in the waiting area if they are mature enough, which they are. There is no age requirement as this would not be legal. In fact, I had been at Quest 2 days prior getting my yearly blood drawn and a urine sample while my kids quietly waited for me. Both women immediately were extremely rude and unprofessional. I will be filing a complaint with LabCorp as well as speaking to an attorney regarding the discrimination. read more

The staff is nice. All 2 of them. There are 6 people in the waiting room and another 4 in the hall and I've been here since 0700 (almost an hour now) waiting to get my blood drawn. Someone needs to look at the early morning traffic and adjust the scheduling of the phlebotomist accordingly. I'm sure mid-day 2 techs are fine but when you have people that come in early and are fasting, having 2 people working isn't cutting it. read more

You make an appointment ahead of time. You come in check in and yet!!!! You can't be serviced on your scheduled time- why? Because the medical assistant does not know or care enough to do his job with some degree of quality! He is answering personal phone calls, has a line wrapped around the waiting room and a line at the Kiosk checking in patients that know how to do sign in. Patient approaches kiosk and it get stuck on loading/processing. What does self serving attendant do, he ignores all appointments all the ones on the line to go over and start using the machine himself to check patients in. What happened to the ones before.....NOTHING. We end up at the end of the line and end up worst than the walk ins UGH NOT A PROFESSIONAL ESTABLISHMENT. Horrific experience at this location! I've already sent an email to LabCorp corporate but wanted to send a warning out to unsuspecting people out there. I have small veins. I've had monthly blood draws for a year. All but one was done at my doctor's office with NO issue. Until, that is, two days ago at this location. I don't know if the two men working that day were inexperienced, having a bad day or simply did not want to be at work. Regardless, they poked and rotated the needle on both arms and could not find a vein. The most unconscionable part of this experience was when the older man told me I needed to go somewhere else for the blood draw AND that I was at the wrong location. I promptly showed him my appointment confirmation for this location. SMH I'm stuck with LabCorp because of insurance. I'm going to another location tomorrow. Wish me luck! UPDATE: So, I just left the LabCorp at 7320 Woodlake Avenue. This particular LabCorp is located within a doctor's office. Initially, I was registered to go to another location but this LabCorp had available appointments the following day. This turned out to be a blessing because I was in and out. The medical building it's in has free parking and the lot is huge. Check-in was quick and easy through a kiosk inside the lobby. I arrived 15 minutes earlier but I got called in right away and I actually left by my appointment time. The lab employee assisting with my pre-employment drug screen was very polite. Would go here again if I ever needed to do labs. read more

I brought my 16 month old in to do routine lab work. I was completely terrified for my son. I had so many questions on how they were going to be able to draw blood. BUT, they did a wonderful job, it took 1 min and we were in and out and they did an amazing job. read more

They dont take phone calls which is ridiculous because I needed to check on my lab order that my doctor faxed them and I couldn't reach them. I had to drive all the way to their location to confirm that they received it. When asked about their phone no., the person said we dont take calls. This is VERY inconvenient. read more

I had to use this lab at my new doctor's request. I needed an extra copy of the lab results to go to my cardiologist since my internist had ordered the tests. Because I did know know the cardiologist's FAX number (whose office is RIGHT NEXT DOOR) she said that she cannot get a copy of the results to him. I can't imagine that a professional office like this would not have a list of the common doctors in the direct area on hand! The woman that was at the front desk, then also took my blood draw was cold, uncaring and seemed to not like her job. Even with a scheduled appointment, they will run behind by at least 30 minutes. Staff is curt and rude. When having my blood drawn the guy rushed through it, was also rude, and had no type of bed side manner. I will not be coming back to this location for any services. read more

This is my third trip to this labcorp. I make an appt each time and each time I wait like 45-1 hr. The rude receptionist who also draws blood just says "we're busy." Why do they have online appts when they don't follow them? They seem to not prioritize walk ins from people who have an appt. This is my last time here. I will find a better Labcorp when it's a must, but if I have a choice I would for sure choose Quest. They prioritize patients with appts and they run on time and have multiple people working. Seems labcorp wants to save money and not employ enough people to have their office run smoothly. read more

Went in for some lab work at my doctor's request. Bright & early Saturday morning, arriving just after 7:30. The business doesn't open until 8 AM, but you would think the building would have the doors open so that we could at least wait inside in an orderly fashion. Nope. So just minutes before 8 they finally open the doors to the building and the 3 of us who had arrived early along with an employee from another location went upstairs. The employee went in and said they would be open for us in a few minutes. Having taken the elevator up with her, she was very friendly & personable. Not bad for that hour of the morning and she hadn't even had her coffee yet! A few minutes later she opens the door and lets us in. The girl behind the counter had us sign in and told us they'd start calling us in momentarily. As they called the first gentleman in for his blood work, I was handed my specimen cup and directed to the restroom. Just as I finished with that, I walked back out toward the waiting room when I hear another girl call my name for my blood draw. Meanwhile several out of a group of customers (10-12) who apparently had gathered outside of a door that didn't get unlocked until several minutes after 8 were bitching at the staff about whether or not they were going to take people in the order they had arrived downstairs. Life is FAR too short to get bent out of shape if it's going to take a few more minutes to get your lab work done because someone walked into the building quicker than you do. Alas, the staff took it in stride and seemed to make everyone happy since the whining seemed to quickly die down. As for my phlebotomist, she was an absolute CHAMP! Ever since I was a kid, I've been a pin cushion when it comes to getting blood drawn thanks to deep veins. Usually it takes several tries and some poking, prodding & digging around under the skin before they strike oil. Not this day! One stick and BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! we had 4 vials of red gold! In the past, my doctors have used Quest and it always seemed like it was a nightmare. LabCorp's waiting room, bathroom and blood draw area were all clean & orderly. The staff were all friendly & polite but also informative, letting you know what they needed you to do and making sure you didn't have any questions. Next time I need to get lab work done, I won't procrastinate because of dreading the experience I had gotten used to in the past! read more

I have been coming to this lab for a while now. They do their best to get you in and out and it's a clean facility. Open Saturday's which works for me. I usually have the same phlebotomist which I like. They are always working, no standing behind the counter gossiping/giggling. I do recommend making an appointment online to try to get out fast. read more

Hmmm... That's weird.. I just walked in, was taken care of right away AND was able to give a urine specimen all within a 30 minute period. The girl and Vince that took care if me were sweet and made me laugh. Disgruntled patients are the worst kind... And to the review earlier about paint or whatever.. I have to say, I'm really impressed with my visit here. I'm hard pressed to find a healthcare experience that isn't a major hassle in one aspect or another, but I had an excellent experience at Labcorp. They've set the bar, I must say. I had to get some labs done, and I wasn't allowed to eat for 8 hours before. I went first thing in the morning after dropping off my kiddo at school. I'm sure I wasn't the only person who had fasting labs to do, but I was fortunate to walk in with no one else waiting. It may be the day - but I think it also speaks to how effective and efficient the staff is. I had never been there before. The paperwork took only a couple of minutes to fill out. The tech was very professional and experienced. I didn't feel a thing!! When I left, a few people had walked in and it was starting to get busy, but it seems like they have a system among them to get people in and out. There are a half dozen locations around the valley to choose from. I'm certain I'll be frequenting this one for my lab needs. Parking is easy if you go near the surgery center. Trying to park along the building is a bit of a hassle otherwise. read more

MAKE AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE. That is the ONLY way you will get in promptly after you arrive. If you're coming straight from a doctor's office or have no appointment, expect to stand around for an hour or more (like I once did). Don't call them; you will not get an answer. The phlebotomists there are rude and uncaring. They make doubly sure that you've paid for it, or that your insurance will soon be paying it, before they will draw the blood. Actually Labcorp has another station in the next building over, at 7325 Medical Center Dr. It's a big, nice office!! I've started going over there and it's much better than the one in the 7301 building. Of course, getting bloodwork done is never any picnic and I've read all kinds of negative reviews about Labcorp. It's apparently not a nice place to work for, with focus on profit versus quality service (many lost samples, requiring the patients to come back a second time for specimen collection.) I haven't had any reason to question the results of my labs, but the tests that I've had in the last few years have usually been simple ones (CBC, CMP, lipid panel, etc.) Quest Diagnostics, their competitor, is no better. read more
