Seems a number system like others use would be more efficient to ensure correct patient goes back when called. Say this because during my visit a first name was called and two patients had that name, however the other patient went back thereby taking correct patient's appointment time. The patient with the appointment had scheduled around a meeting, was late due to this, and ultimately had to leave after waiting well beyond appointment time. When, she brought it to the attention of the ONLY TECH APPARENTLY WORKING when she opened the door to call me-my appointment was after the lady who'd been caused to miss hers-the tech went ahead and took me back thereby causing there to be no correction to what had happened. So, if there'd been someone manning the window, that patient could have spoken up and the error could have been immediately corrected! It's a terrible, untimely, unprofessional, mismanaged, understaffed and awful patient experience, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone! The hospital lab is top notch, but my insurance went to stand alone testing labs. It's the only way to avoid more excessive insurance costs. I may still choose the hospital and pay more just to avoid this place.

When you are a mom of twin boys. Accidents are bound to happen. One of my lil guys fell and hurt…read morehis arm. I called his pediatrician but no appointments were available. Good thing CareSpot was my next call. They were able to get my guy in the same day, luckily within a few hours. It is flu season, and the coronavirus is lurking around the corner. We both were super nervous but when we got to the door. There were postings to notify staff if a patient was experiencing those symptoms. That calmed my germaphobic son. He did grab a face mask just in case someone sneezed. The front desk staff was very hospitable and ask me pertinent questions to get us checked in. Remember we were only here to see if he had a broken arm. Within a few minutes of our appointment time, we were escorted to the exam room. The nurse took vitals and ask more specific questions related ti his accident. They could tell he was nervous and in pain when they moved his arm. She didn't inconvenience him too much and called the Dr in to exam before having his Xray. I was happy to know we didn't need to go to another location for xrays. Xrays are taken onsite and then must be sent electronically to the radiologist to be analyzed. This took the most time. About 45 mins. Great news no broken bones but they made a custom splint for him. The location was very clean and sterile. A nice touch, was rain waterfall music playing in our exam room. It was pretty calming while you are waiting. Great staff all very caring. They even asked my son to come back and play his sax for them when he is all better.
