I went with a friend to purchase her new 2025 Jeep Wrangler and worked directly with Jay. The sales process was quick, but everything after that has been a frustrating mess. The vehicle was delivered with only one key, and getting this resolved has been unnecessarily difficult. Jay has been unresponsive at times and, when he does respond, it's been delays, excuses, or being given the runaround. What should have been a simple fix has turned into an ongoing issue that we've had to keep chasing. Once the deal was done, the level of service completely dropped off. Boy oh boy, where do I begin. I will be making a YouTube video, TikTok instagram etc. very soon about this dealership. Found a beautiful 2022 dodge ram 3500 I was interested in buying. Spoke to Chad the first time and they were not interested in my 2015 c7 z06 3LZ. Whatever, right? Wrong. The other sales manager wants my car. We talk over the phone, we talk about prices, and we slowly agree on a number. I live about 2 hours away, so this was a hefty drive but it's worth it. I told them my front tires were below 50 percent, and that was all. Well, we show up and they inspect my vehicle and low and behold there is a crack in my windshield. It happened while I was driving there, and I agreed to pay half to fix it. It's the tiniest crack ever, but they said they don't do that, they have to certify and get everything in working order by law (remember the law part.) Once the truck rolls around, it's a complete mess. On the phone, the truck was in perfect condition besides a bad carfax. Well, they 100% lied. The tailgate still didn't work, the front grill was completely broke, the interior was falling apart, and last but not least, a cracked windshield. They told me they inspected the truck, and that this must've happened on their lot. After looking at the truck, it was 100% not inspected correctly.. so did they break the law? Anyways, we go back inside and I say scratch my back I scratch yours, and the GSM was more than happy to try that. What does the GM say? F you, not only will I not agree to the price you and the gsm agreed too, but im pulling 1000 dollars from your trade. So now I'm oweing wayyy more then what I had. We "built" our 2019 Ram online and it lead us to 2 dealerships that had it in stock - one VERY well known Tampa dealership and Labelle Dodge. The staff at Labelle beat the other guys HANDS DOWN! Being an active duty family, we found ourselves unexpectedly needing to trade 3 vehicles before moving to a new base. Since we are not located close to either dealership, I did all the initial research by phone and text message. We started with "the other guy" and I was shocked at the disrespect I was treated with. Annoyance at questions being asked, insistence that we come in to talk in person and an unwillingness to negotiate when I told them I had found a similar vehicle at Labelle with more options for a lower price. The worst part was their overall condescending tone during our conversations -- they definitely chased away the sale. When I called Labelle, I was put in contact with Sean (the sales manager) and explained our situation. I told him I wasn't driving over 2 hours unless all the numbers made sense. He took the time to go over everything with me. Told me EXACTLY what we'd be paying, what we qualified for in rebates and incentives and what they'd give us for our trades. We ended our initial convo and he gave me his personal cell number and told me to call/text with any other questions. I prepared for "the typical experience" when actually going to Labelle to buy the vehicle, but I was floored by how well we were treated from start to finish! I texted Sean to tell him we were coming but were concerned that the distance wouldn't leave us with much time before they closed, not to mention we could only drive 2 of the 3 vehicles there. He told us not to worry and head on in. He put me in contact Louis in sales to begin the paperwork AND sent 2 guys OVER 2 HOURS ONE WAY to pick up and drive our third vehicle back to their dealership! By the time we reached Labelle, Louis had just finished detailing the vehicle, Kathy had our paperwork ready to go and Sean had waited for us to get there. My husband and I went to Plattner Dodge Chrysler in Labelle to speak with a sales person (Tony Martinez) that my son had been working with over the phone and online. My son is 19 years old and it's the first time he's ever attempting to buy a car on his own. I looked at the car, a brand new Dodge Challenger 2021. I had a conversation with Tony about working a deal on said vehicle. Ultimately, Tony came back with a figure that I was satisfied with handwritten on a piece of paper with the VIN number for the car and not much else. I asked him if the figure he wrote on the paper was an out the door price. He responded with "yes, price includes tax, tag, and dealer fees" because of the chicken scratch writing after the monetary figure, I asked him to confirm the price again two more times and he did. With that being a respectable price that I could deal with, I would send my son on Monday to close the deal. I probably should've been a little skeptical because every time I asked him a question related to financing he was very short and interrupted me to say that everything was fine but he would not discuss or show me anything further, not even a buyers order. He quoted confidentiality rules, but moments earlier discussing that my son was only 19 and shouldn't buy a car on his own without someone there to oversee the deal..At this point confirming three times that the price included those charges I agreed to put a non-refundable deposit down until my son would arrive at the dealership on Monday morning first thing. He advised me that I should put the deposit down because of the "sneaky" practices of his coworker sales people. (I have in a text message) Little did I know he would be the sneaky one later..! On Monday, my son arrived at the dealership, Tony took him for a long test drive ensuring he was hooked on the car before taking him to finance. Once in finance the figures on the car we're completely different then what we discussed. When I questioned why, they told me that the price of the car was what I was told three times by Tony PLUS tax tag title and dealer fees , making the car substantially more. The new amount also made the car un-affordable for my 19-year-old son. We disagreed with the figures so the finance person called for the sales manager. Once speaking to him it was clear we were not getting the vehicle for the agreed price I was told by Tony Martinez. The sales manager told me there's no way he could sell the car for that. Even though they had the car listed at $28K online price but advised they couldn't sell the car for less than $34k (not including tax, tag, title, and dealer fees). The fact that I confirmed that the price Tony Martinez told me included those fees three separate times did not matter. The sales manager only stated he would talk to Tony about that. He did state however he would refund my deposit which was respectable, but have yet to receive the refund. Ultimately, I told my son to walk out of the dealership. A total disappointment to my son. I feel that Tony Martinez knew exactly what he was doing and told me what I wanted to hear just to get my son to the finance department knowing his age and lack of experience with purchasing a vehicle. What is even more messed up, Tony Martinez took it upon himself to call my son on his cell phone shortly after he left to tell him "you are an adult and do not need your mothers or your fathers permission to purchase a car, you can do that without your parents permission." Completely disrespectful and disgraceful move. Apparently he didn't realize my son is not a "stupid teenager" and can actually think for himself on his own. I guess Tony Martinez is the sneaky (shady one) in the sales group, not to mention a liar and a poor businessman. He should be fired...! I will never recommend or purchase anything from this dealership or its counterparts. It seems that the dodge dealerships in the south west Florida area run under the Philosophy that customer service is on the back burner. What I thought would have been a turn around in me being unhappy to happy eventually has be unhappy and unsatisfied. I had a horrible experience with the Naples Dodge and now the LaBelle dodge has jumped on board. I was in search of a wrangler the latest body style and I contacted the La Bell Dodge to inquire about a car I had seen online. One of the sales associates seemed a little bit too busy to help me but eventually told me that there was a wrangler coming in on a certain day and he would send me the information. When the day came I never got any information I contacted him the next day and reported to me that the car had sold. I uploaded a picture of the text message back and forth with him. Eventually I talk to his manager And explain to him the lack of customer service and the information that I did not need from this new associate. The manager promised me he would help me and find me a wrangler. He said he wanted to turn me being unhappy too happy and have a great experience. He told me that they were a couple wranglers coming in and he would contact me when they did arrive. The General Manager also reported that they had wranglers come in often. Avoid this clown show at all costs. The handful of people I dealt with were completely lost, specifically Trevor. I called about a 2014 Jeep Wrangler to confirm it was still available. Trevor told me it was and so I asked for the CarFax. He said he'd email it to me. Two days later I still didn't have it and had to call back and ask. Trevor wasn't in so the sales manager sent it to me. Instead of a carfax report I was given a much less comprehensive report looking similar to a carfax.
