NO, Interested Consignors should NOT waste their time Organizing, Transporting, and Waiting in line only to have their items rejected. The company only accepts a few items from a consignor at a time. Granted it is their company and they should be proficient in their selection process, however when you over-look high end, up-to-date items, it causes undue stress in your potential consignors. I patiently tried to go through the processes but had to stop their random selection of the many items I took concern for in bringing to the consignment shop, and once they rejected a Neiman Marcus Leather Jacket, ALL DEALS WERE OFF. Labels is a designer consignment shop in Buckhead but upon my most recent visit, I have to give it 2 stars. Service is nonexistent and as you are shopping in the cramped quarters, you feel like you're in the associate's way. No greetings nor assistance from anyone. Everything looks and feels very old and musty as an overall aesthetic. I did find some cute items but most items were overpriced (near retail price) and many were outdated and in poor condition. The sales tags were so limited that maybe 5 items were half off in the entire store and everything else was full price. The Finer Consigner in Alpharetta is honestly way better. read more

I love labels because they always have great deals online. However, usually atleast 1-2 items if not my entire order is refunded because the item is out of stock which I know mistakes happen but many other resale shops I buy from remove an item from their online store as soon as it's sold online. My last purchase however that brought me to leave this review, nothing was refunded but a pair of shoes was DISGUSTING, smelled like dirty feel and soles just nasty and a dress I bought for a wedding has a HUGE hole and lots of stains all over the hem. read more

I've been in three times and haven't been compelled to buy anything. Has a terrific shoe selection with great prices. But that's also a part of my confusion with this store. A pair of stain blue Manolo Balhnik (good condition) were $83. Sadly not my size. However a very ordinary Zara scarf was priced at $50. Color me confused. I understand consignment pieces will eventually get marked down, but a Zara scarf shouldn't be $50 on the resale market, ever. Awesome spot to get designer brands for super low prices. I have gotten so many great items here (purses, shoes, dresses) that would normally cost $1000 or more for less than half the price. All of the items are in great condition and the store is very organized so its easy to find your size. There is a lot here and this location is two stories so I reccomend allowing yourself some time to look at everything so you don't miss a good discount. I got a pair of Barney's shoes for $50 that looked almost brand new. I definitely reccomend if you like designer brands but dont want to spend designer prices. read more

I used to really love Labels until they ridiculed me as a customer. This past September my whole life was stolen when someone broke into my car and stole my Fendi purse from that I bought from Labels. It was especially hurtful because I purchased my Fendi as a gift to myself for graduating from college in 2014. I saved up for months just to get it. As I went through my insurance claim, they told me they can't cover my bag without proof of purchase. I tried to retrieve my receipt from Labels and I had the worst time dealing with Jenny, the store manager. The other associates were very pleasant and helpful to find this receipt. I had to call multiple times to speak to Jenny and I went up to the main store in Buckhead to speak to her there as well. Each time she was nasty and it was all over her demeanor that she didn't want to help me. She made me feel like I was lying about the bag. She said the store doesn't keep records past 2016 and she said they never even had the Fendi bag for sale in their records. She said that if I didn't have the exact date and exact purchase amount, she couldn't help me and I needed to stop calling and coming up there requesting it. I was completely devastated. I had to search through all my financials from the last 6 years to find several bank statements from Labels and match it with my google photos timeline. Four months later, I found another bank statement that could be from the bag purchase and I went back up to Labels. I was sooo nervous, because I had been ridiculed so many times before about getting a receipt. I walked in and asked to speak to Jenny again. She came up to the front, instantly remembered me and frowned. I think the only reason she helped me is because other customers were watching her. She looked up the new date I found... what do you know, she found my receipt for my bag and reprinted/emailed the receipt. Not once did she ever apologize for how she treated me, for mistaking the management of her inventory, or for their terribly dated bookkeeping system. The whole situation was just overall unprofessional. All she said after she pulled it up was, "yea..we updated to a new system after you called." Wow.. I rarely write reviews but I needed to remind everyone that your relationship as a customer doesn't end at the sale. I've been shopping at Labels for years and the fact that the management handled this so poorly is very disappointing. If you choose to shop here get all your receipts emailed and hopefully you won't run into the same problems with poor customer service and bookkeeping as I did. I had a very unnerving experience with Jenny today. I came in to collect a check from my account when I noticed a discrepancy with the pay out. It's supposed to be 50% of the $800+ she told me it was listed for. She tells me it was discounted 25% because of the time it's been there. I had previously called before coming into the store (that's how I knew one of the two items I submitted had sold) the woman on the phone (Not Jenny) told me about the items being listed and one being sold. So I begin telling Jenni what I had told the woman on the phone, that when I dropped the 2 items to Labels men, they did not send me an email stating that the items were logged and their listing price. When I dropped them off I was told by the employee that I would receive that email in about 2 weeks. It never came so fast forward to today I'm told over phone, I apologize but yes one item sold the other can be scheduled for pick up if that's what I desired. Now in the store with Jenny, I'm retelling the issue and tell her I don't feel I should be penalized and lose 25% they discounted and sold the item for because I wouldn't know when the clock started as to when the item was on floor. They didn't send an email. She says she can ask can I be credited the difference and if approved it can be sent through PayPal instead of me having to come back and get a check. I say ok. She says "well you emailed us to pick up one of the items so you must have gotten the email." I shake my head no and say "That was for an item on the women's side, they were separate transactions that weren't logged together" She then asks for my email. I give it to her. "That's why you didn't get it, we don't have that email address on file" I start shaking my head no again and begin to tell her that's not the issue because I have access to both. I never was sent an email. I'm not able to get this out because she cuts me off not even mid sentence and says "Can you stop talking to me like that?" There are customers being checked out so now I'm embarrassed and confused. So I ask her "Talking to you how?" She doesn't answer just sits there staring at me. Now I'm UNCOMFORTABLE. I say "You have me wrong I don't have an attitude" then proceed to finish my original sentence of I have access to both emails so that wasn't the issue. She continues but with a passive aggressive attitude. For example before concluding the conversation a customer comes in the door to say they were blocked in so I run out to move my car. I come back in, wait in line until I can speak to Jenny again and she say "yes is there something else I can help you with?" I ask her "When can I expect to hear from them" she passively aggressively says "Well I haven't spoke to them since you've been outside" I say" It can be anytime. Today, tomorrow I just want to know when" she then states it should be sometime today or tomorrow but either way she will call me. Which she does probably 15/20 minutes later. This experience bothered me. I do not appreciate the embarrassment or AGGRESSION even if it is passive. I never raised my voice or used foul language. I don't know what she was projecting but I as a CUSTOMER should not have been handled that way. It happened around 4pm I am a young black female, black shirt and black and white tights. I honestly would like camera footage with audio posted for all to see and an owner to review. To be in CUSTOMER service is to know how to deal with different personalities, cultures, accents etc... that are different but everyone should be treated with RESPECT even if having a disagreement or discussing a discrepancy. I never once disrespected this woman and she pulled the "can you stop talking to me like that" card in a very victim-y way, like she was afraid. She weaponized herself completely. Which in turn made me want to record the situation to protect myself because I completely see the card she was pulling. Mind you she did not have a chipper tone, She was very monotone, which was fine because I was there to conduct business not be in my personal feelings. The clothes I brought to their shop were very expensive as I bought them personally, some in France and Atlanta, and the money I received was pitiful. Labels Resale Boutique, opened just weeks ago in the heart of Buckhead, is a haven of pretty things in great condition, at wallet-friendly prices. I paid my first visit today and was delighted with the bounty I found. Shoes, in all sizes and types - whether heels, flats, sporty or cocktail-worthy are your thing, you're likely to find a pair or several to your liking. Suits - from St. John to Banana Republic, I saw all sizes and styles. Both my mom and I could outfit ourselves happily - at how many places is that the case? "Casual" wear - a moderate but well-selected supply of jeans (think Sevens, Citizens, Paige, Joe's, and the occasional pair of Banana's), lots of tees, tanks and tops (from Milly to K-La, Trina Turk and more), and a really extensive array of skirts in all sizes. Outer wear - given the time of year, I was impressed that there were heavy and lighter coats at all. Purses - a wall of good selections (trust me, I know my purses and I checked the labels, finding Kate Spade, BCBG and in the glass case....Gucci). Rounding out the store were pretty case displays of jewelry and throughout you'll find cleverly arranged baskets of wallets, pouches, makeup bags and the like. The owners are super-friendly and fun to talk to, eager to ask how you heard about their store and happy to buy your well-cared-for-clothes as well as sell you their things. This Boutique suck, I have been shopping with them for yrs sense 2013 and the new people working there have no skills they don't know how to authenticate if that's so then they sale fake stuff, I brought my husband some Valentino sneakers last yr for Valentine Day and he pasted away and wanted to consign them they said they where fake and they came from them and had new LV sneakers and Fendi sneakers that's at Lenox right now and I had proof of the shoes where real and they refuse to consign, I'm convinced they are racist or crazy. And my husband was so loyal shopping with them. They suck!!!!!!! Was told the manger would call me twice they just brush me off, they pretend to be professional and they suck. First the good: As a customer, I find they have a nice selection of items. Some associates are nice. The stores are as clean as a consignment store can be (but they're always stuffy). Now the negative: As a seller, I'm disappointed. I called on the day my consignment​ ended. They sold a men's tie from Barney's & I could​ expect my check in a week. No check arrived. Months later, I followed up with a SASE. No check arrived. I tried again. They said they'd be sending a check right away, and it did arrive, BUT it was for $20, not $30 as they had quoted on the phone AND it was for a shirt, not the tie. This is a needle in a haystack place. Sometimes you find the needle, and sometimes it's all hay. They have some great stuff, and I almost always find at least one thing to take home. However, it is poorly merchandised and the stores (houses) are kinda shabby. The condition of their merch is sometimes kinda shabby, too. Check condition, cleanliness, seams, etc closely before you buy. Their shoes and bags tend to be too worn for my tastes. I have had great luck with formal wear here. Store manager at Buckhead location is entitled and arrogant! She has absolutely no idea what is going on in her store and to add insult to injury she clearly does not know the meaning of customer service. I brought four designer items in to be consigned three weeks ago (incidentally also spending over $500 on clothes while in the store); was told I would receive a valuation of all items within a week by email, which incidentally was backed up in writing on my confirmation (week to 10 days). I called yesterday, over 14 days later to request status (as these are evening dresses that I would have liked to sell before Xmas or New Years Eve) and her unapologetic response was "we are still working on November". I politely told her that I was hoping we could get them on the shelves soon for the holidays. Her response was "I hope so too". I asked her if she could give me an update of the status of my items and she said "we will send you an email today. " As of now, no email and no update! She clearly was annoyed, frustrated and even belittling. I used this store many years ago and received nothing but the utmost in professional service. This place is a complete joke! I would not recommend for purchasing or selling until they hire people who know how to treat people with respect! Disgusted! read more

This review is titled, "Is there something wrong with customer service?" How can I ask you to sell my Stuart Weitzman shoes and drop off with you in the nice shoe box with the cloth (dust-free) bag and then you promise me that it will be sold within time. How can I come by at the expiration of the stated time, with the shoes unsold to gracefully pick up my shoes and you can't find them? Then, when you do find them, the box is gone. What am I going to do with a pair of shoes with no box, how will I resell them now without a box. And then, to make matters worse you tell me that you throw the boxes away. You honestly toss the boxes with the dust-free bags away, seriously? Why in heaven's name didn't you tell me this when I dropped the shoes off with you, I would have gladly recycled my box and used the bag for something else? What is wrong with businesses these days, is it the economy that has made us forget what customer service means? Pfffttt... read more

Ahhh, Labels. What can I say? I've been a die-hard fan since I discovered them about six years ago. They carry everything from super-luxe brands (YSL, Hermes, Chanel, etc), to what I'd consider entry-level luxury (Tory Burch, Coach, etc) and even a few nice but moderate lines, like BCBG and Banana Republic... as long as a piece speaks to my heart, I don't discriminate. ;) Everything I've seen is in perfect to lightly used condition (got my beloved Miu Miu bag there for around 60% off full price). And occasionally I'll find new pieces, still deeply discounted from the original price on the tag. Main attraction- the staff and entire vibe is much warmer and more personal than most high-end boutiques or department stores. I'm always greeted and Jessica remembers my name, even if I haven't been in for a few months. That goes a long way in my book. Last thing- they recently opened a "Littles" children's resale house across the street from the Labels Men's and Dress houses. Hands-down, best kid's consignment store I've found in Atlanta. I love resale boutiques. Labels in Atlanta is probably the closest I can find in the city to the ultra high end consignment shops in LA, where most of the clothes still bear the tags from Neimans. And the prices! Maybe not the best for a seller, but excellent for a shopper. I've bought an Escada suit for a little over $100, an Armani jacket for a little under, and I'm hesitant to even mention the Alexander McQueen dress for $150. WHAT?! I know. And it was fabulous. Orange silk....okay, enough. The purses are hit or miss. I've seen a replica Tods for way too much and a Gucci (new) for next to nothing. The shoes are meeh. Most of them are very worn, and they don't have any boxes, which I find disappointing. Yes, I keep the boxes. I did see a pair of new black suede Valentino boots with a fabulous heel and platform downstairs in the sale room. That's the nicest pair of shoes I have seen there. Enjoy! read more

This is my favorite discovery of 2012. I know it's only April but I am 99% sure this will be my find of the year. I have a problem. I like nice brands and yet I do not like substantial credit card debt. Enter Labels. My mom and I recently visited the store looking for a MOB Dress for my wedding and so we started off at their more formal store, they had a nice mix of day dresses to wedding gowns and while we didn't find the perfect dress for my mom, next time I'm in need of a nice dress, I know where to go. We sauntered next door to the bigger more casual part of the setup and I almost teared up. They have everything and every label. In terms of designers they had a wide range for reasonable prices. Honestly with the location being in buckhead I was worried that I was going to find a bunch of size 2 Lilly dresses but thankfully they had a really diverse collection, both of sizes and type of clothing. As much as I love my other resale stores, it's really nice to know no matter what you buy it will be high quality. If I encounter one more Ross resale at Rag-o-Rama in between the ralph lauren I may give up on them all together. Back to Labels, both stores have both mens and womens wear, shoes, purses, outwear, and awesomeness. I'm so happy to have found this place, whether I need nice clothes for work or a fun dress to wear to a friend's wedding I have a feeling this is my new go to place. Of course the fact that on my first visit I discovered a Henri Bendel Cashmere sweater for 40 dollars doesn't hurt. If that doesn't make me a lifelong customer, I don't know what will. The woman in the store told me they have a location in the Vinings Shopping Center that houses Canoe, so I'm thinking a OTP trip to see if this location matches the amazing buckhead location is in my future read more

Consignment shopping in ATL is perhaps some of the best. A world of once worn red soles, sought after handbags and much more. There are three women's stores. Formal wear - dresses, St. John, and high end handbags. Shoes - a whole store of shoes, organized by size. Causal wear - every day stuff, jeans, lululemon, etc. I've always had amazing service here from all the employees. Everyone seems to really enjoy their job. And they are always willing to help. I'm a regular shopper at Labels and I live out of state! I travel from the DC area where designer items are the norm in the political an executive circles- and while the North may have more $, the cash just doesn't go as far. And I would certainly rather spend $300 for more than one Burberry scarf- and get Kors handbag, Burch Cuff and Hudson jeans instead! Whenever I travel to ATL, Labels always makes the 'to do' list. While the buckhead clientele may have unwarranted snootiness going on- every lady (and fella) in the store is hunting for a great deal- and they'll find it! From Late season Marc Jacobs watches for $75, to near mint Tory Burch handbags for $175, or nearly new Lacoste polos (a staple) for $12- Labels has it all. And the staff is pretty great too. A few of the girls are a bit snooty- but always have a nice enough demeanor. One staffer, Mary Sue, is a standout. She is kind, courteous, well mannered and efficient. She is the definition of southern charm and an asset to this small business. When I walk in, and see that Mary Sue is covering the (shoes/accessories house, formalwear house, or casual gear)- I know I will get the full Labels Luxury experience. I have tried to consign here more than once. They find unbelievable reasons not to take your clothes, sometimes after carefully checking, accepting your items and later changing their mind. Excuses like " we have too many Eileen Fisher or St. John; or in the most recent case "we decided that one of your items has a very faint smell of mothballs (it didn't). "So please come get all of them and treat them and bring them back." The items were like new, fresh from the cleaner, pristinely clean, up to date and in style. I'm done. Omg! I have lived in Atlanta for the last 8 years and never heard of this place until now. I was discussing with friends that I wanted to get a nice handbag without paying a fortune. My friends told me to check out Labels and said it was the best consignment shop in Atlanta. The set up is quite charming. It is a few bungalows near each other in the East Andrews area of Buckhead. Each house is merchandised by specific clothing and accessories. It is well organized and easy to shop. Though I intended to buy a handbag, I ended up purchasing two tops and almost bought a few leather jackets that I did not need! I stopped myself. This place has a great selection of on-trend, designer items... However, their prices are OUTRAGEOUS. There were several items I was interested in buying, but I googled them and it was actually CHEAPER to buy them full price at retail value. For example: I was interested in the Midnight Fleur by Nest perfume (almost full but not quite), retails at Sephora and Nordstrom for $72.00 and they were selling it for $75. I was also interested in the Twilly perfume by d'Hermes, it retails at Sephora and Nordstrom for $79 and they were selling it for $100!!!! The bottle was barely more than 2/3 of the way full... RIDICULOUS. The perfumes weren't the only thing overpriced, just the things I remember most. You can find WAY better prices for designer items on Poshmark or even at Nordstrom Rack. On top of the horrendous prices, the customer service wasn't good either. I wasn't even spoken to by any employees the entire half hour I was there... at least not until I left and said goodbye first, to which the employee at the front desk on the computer responded.
