I had a written quote sent to me via email. I agreed to the price and thought possibly it could be a couple hundred more. At the end of my move I was presented the bill for $4300!!!! What a rip off company. How do you go from $1700 to $4300? Even after presenting the quote they charged me $4300. I have filed complaints and now I am out the money. I am just going to state the facts of my situation…read more A medical emergency made us have to move to a lower floor apartment with an elevator in the SAME apartment community ( literally across the parking lot) Last Year with the same movers it took 4 hours to move 7 miles so I figured this time if we are moving from one building to the next in the same community it should only take about 3-4 hours again. It took 7 hours to move my two bedroom apartment. Also after those 7 hours there was still a footboard, tv and a lot of other things that didn't get moved. I asked for a two bedroom sized truck however, The 16ft truck that they came in was so narrow there was no way to fit all my things, it was not the typical moving truck nor was it the same size as the last time but the price was increased. My husband, who just got out of the hospital called to ask why they left so much stuff after 7 hours and they told him they would come back right then to finish but They never came back. I am so disappointed in this company. I feel like I was taken advantage of: the new worker barely wanted to move anything, I have Knicks and scrapes on my walls in the new unit and old, a hole in my couch that I haven't even had for a year, and I had to spend another 2.5 hours moving things in my pick up truck after paying them $780 to move me across the parking lot. I should have followed my instincts. It was hard to communicate when texts and emails are not responded to in a timely way. After months of patient waiting I was emailed a plan too small to read that did not adequately reflect what we had discussed at our initial meeting. At this point Covid was not preventing people from presenting their design plans in person. I felt like I just didn't rank very high in importance so I stopped working with them. In 2021 lots of companies took on all the work they could write because everyone was so unsure of the future. They never should have taken my project. It's important to have the right-size company for the project. Otherwise you'll waste your money like I did.

He was the only one out of the three that stayed on me if I'd made a decision on my moving company and did I have any questions at all. He came to my home and gave us several helpful tips on how to prepare before they got there so that I wouldn't have to spend as much money on the move. We followed his advice and saved a lot of time and $$$. The packers came and quickly packed our items carefully and systematically asking questions all the while. They were great about making sure that things went in a box labeled properly so I could find it when I unpacked at my new home. At my request they also used color-coded stickers to aid us all in the unloading at my new home. The following day everything was unloaded at my new home, with great care and great manners! They even went and dug out something that I mistakenly packed and needed desperately even though they were still unloading the first truck. He knew exactly where it was which blew me away! Everything arrived safe and sound, no scratches, and nothing broken. They were so helpful in every way. Moving is so stressful even if it's only across town. By the owner's constant communication and the great work ethic of these employees, I could not be happier!
