These movers are the biggest fraudsters in town!!! Do not attempt to use their services. I was quoted a price of $1700 to move a one bedroom apartment from Dallas to Frisco. I had a written quote sent to me via email. I agreed to the price and thought possibly it could be a couple hundred more. At the end of my move I was presented the bill for $4300!!!! What a rip off company. How do you go from $1700 to $4300? Even after presenting the quote they charged me $4300. I have filed complaints and now I am out the money. I read their reviews and this seems to be their pattern. Just say No to this unethical and fraudulent company!!! I know they think this is ok to cheat others. Karma is a bitch. read more

I needed to move some appliances really quickly. Went online searching. Every company I spoke with replied with something like, "We're too busy, maybe later next week." Then I called "Around The Clock Moving & Storage (https://aroundtheclockmovers.net tel:469-518-4052) and spoke with Billy. Extremely nice on the phone. He, too, let me know that they were really booked up. Unlike the other companies, though, Billy actually went to the master schedule and found something he could make work. Blew me a way. A problem solver rather than an excuse provider. As per our discussion, Billy gave me a call 30 minutes before their arrival. They were their right on time and actually before I could get there. Billy and George were extremely pleasant and helpful. They took care of everything quickly and efficiently. We even built a strong rapport during the move. They were genuinely interested in me and how everything was going during the COVID-19 pandemic. When we got to the destination, Billy and George actually hooked the appliances up, checked to make sure they were working, and offered an invaluable piece of advice to get a zip tie to make sure water pressure doesn't accidentally force the drain hose out of the drain. I have never experienced a more wonderful, caring, and professional team than with "Around The Clock Moving" with Billy and George. I've been moving around (military) since 1976. Please see end of this review. Mr. Cole eventually met with us on 12/18/15 and an offer of settlement and release from further action was offered by "Around the Click Moving". We accepted the offer and consider the matter closed. We had contacted "Around the Clock Moving to estimate a move from Dallas to Cleburne because of good Yelp reviews. Mr. Cole came to our home, gave us a "total estimate for moving and storage". Subsequently we were charged almost twice as much and required more trucks and an extra day with time charged for the men required. I felt that we received misleading service and quotes. Although joint misunderstanding of terms may have occurred as our family was involved in extreme emotional upheaval because of an unexpected family death. Pickup and delivery invoices are given to customers to have signed by the crew, without time to read. The crews were pleasant and polite. Contracts are on the back of the invoice. Several items were lost. A piece of sculpture, part of a leather bound encyclopedia set, small hardware. The damage to our furniture was more than in four cross country moves by a national company combined. An expensive leather, hydraulic office chair was ruined: broken Meerschaum pipe. Multiple deep scratches on sectional wood furniture, broken photo frames, cracked artisanal pottery. Irreplaceable, hand made sculpture with several pieces knocked off. This was after I warned them that it was extremely delicate. It arrived at our new home wrapped in a moving blanket only. Our framed art and crystal did make it intact. We also had several items delivered that were not ours: a dirty bed box spring, large metal candle holders and some small knick knacks. Our items were delivered from storage on Sept 11, 2015 and it took us several days to unpack and find the damaged items, or not find the missing items. We had contacted Billy Cole by phone and email several times before we were able to meet and discuss our issues. Be aware that estimates may include only pick up and packing, not delivery although this was not clearly stated in email correspondence. After 4 military moves, and 3 cross country full household moves this company appeared to be capricious in the care of our belongings. We eventually had a follow up face to face meeting on12/18/15. Since items were not found or repair prohibitive an offer of settlement and release from further action was offered by "Around the Click Moving". Billy and his crew did such a great job, they took time to protect my home and piano from damage and even found where my piano had sustained damage from being in storage on a moving pad; I would have not noticed and thus would have missed being able to file a claim with my storage company to fix it. He even recommended a wood work professional incase there were any issues with the claim. I am very happy with their work; they moved it within two days of calling and got it done in about an hour and half. read more

Slow and disorganized. One guy had a great attitude and the other guy seemed to be inconvenienced and annoyed by the job as it was taking a long time. The two guys came in quickly and got to work. One guy stacked and the other guy came in and restacked. I was in the truck helping them configure a table that clearly should have gone in earlier. They cost me money by being so disorganized. Our 4 bedroom house took 8 hours. That is after we did a 15' & 17' UHaul prior and had everything boxed and ready to go. Very disappointed as I loaded boxes in the trucks for them to stack and then my Mom & wife also helped get boxes to the truck for them. Then we helped unload everything. Nothing damaged though! Terrible experience. Then we were billed for shrinkwrap that wasn't mentioned prior. Salt in the expensive wound. read more

Ok, so I'm writing this review after a bad move, but this is the fourth time I've used them and this is the first bad move. So, to be clear, these guys are normally top notch, I just got a bad crew this go around. And I don't think it was the "crew". The black guy, who appeared to be the trainee, seemed to be doing exactly as you would expect the trainee to do. The guy who appeared to be in charge, though, that's a totally different story. First issue, and when I suspected I was about to get taken for a ride, these guys showed up a full hour late. I had my audio video guys show up 45min after the scheduled start of my move because I was using around the clock movers and they can pack up a one bedroom(that's already been pre packed, mind you) and be on the road in an hour. Wrong. The audio video guys(Vick Audio Video, top notch all the way) showed up exactly on time at 245. The movers show up at 3 for a 2pm move. These guys took three hours for a one bedroom move from Addison to plano(literally straight up the tollway), and my previous neighbor just called to let me know that they left my previous apartment door propped open when they left AND SENT PICTURES OF A ROOM THEY DIDNT EVEN MOVE! I kid you not, there was a room that they just left everything in. I'm sure it's pure coincidence that it was the room with the heaviest items. Dumbbells, filing cabinet, etc. In addition, this is the first time that one of Billy's crews has seemed overly concerned with shortcuts. They didn't fully disassemble the bed, which is why it took them longer to negotiate the pieces that they didn't take apart. They left the headboard and foot of a Queen canopy bed assembled and then proceeded to take four or five times longer to move it than if they had just taken the dang thing apart and moved it. Moving companies are hit or miss and this one is, without a doubt, a hit. My move was super stress free from start to finish. I thought the pricing was fair. The voucher offer on Yelp was an added incentive. Joe was very helpful on the phone. He offered good moving tips. And, when I called to change my scheduled appointment last minute, he was accommodating and flexible. My movers, George and Gary, were really nice, courteous, and super efficient. They called ahead and arrived on time. If you are big on customer service, I definitely recommend these guys! read more

As a company that provides team building programs to corporations and organizations, nationwide, many of our programs contain a charitable component, such as our "Bike Build Donation" program. At the conclusion of the team building program, the bikes that are built are donated to a local charity. On Saturday, December 6, 2014, we had 60 bikes that needed to be moved from Dallas to the Boys & Girls Club of Rockwall County. When I called Around the Clock to inquire about a discounted rate for the move, or even a donation, Joe, the Operations Manager, was quick to tell me the cost, but also that he would see what he could do about getting the move donated. Within an hour, Joe called me back to say that, although all of his movers were booked that day, he had an empty truck and was going to provide his services, to move the bicycles, himself. On the morning of the event, Joe called me to say that a last-minute move, out of town, had to be made, and that he was the one to do it. My heart sank. Before I had time to panic, Joe informed me that his brother, Billy, had offered his services, and would now be completing my bicycle move. I was elated. Billy arrived early, was kind, considerate, and incredibly efficient with the move. He ensured that the bicycles were tied inside the truck, and protected with both padding, and cardboard separators. Billy shared some of his personal story with me, and the CEO of the Boys & Girls Club or Rockwall County. In fact, Joe and Billy grew up in Rockwall, and the B&G Club is housed in an old school that these two attended. I would not hesitate to use Around the Clock for my moving needs, and actually, the CEO of the Boys & Girls Club is moving in January, and will likely use the company for her move. Billy Cole and his moving team went above and beyond to create an exceptional moving experience. His team was super friendly, polite, and professional. They took the utmost care in moving our antiques and collectibles as well as our nice furniture. Everything was wrapped and handled with care. His team even helped load our cars with our TVs and lamps to ensure nothing was broken during the move. In addition, Billy found out we were donating our couch to a family in Arkansas, and took it upon himself to help us transport the couch there on his truck. We called the company for a quote as we are moving and needed storage for 5 days so one load and one to unload and quoted $485 for load and unload and $85 for storage and when they arrived and had our piano on the truck they advised they then wanted an additional $385 to unload the piano and we were completely clear of the situation to pick up the piano hold it for five days and then drop it off and never discussed second fee until they had our piano in the truck. Do not use as they blame us for not understanding and misquoting and said they are not a non profit organization and need their profits. read more

Moved very slow. We hired the extra guy to speed things up and just made things worse. There was a lack of communication between the team of movers. They didn't follow or listen to how things were to placed in the other house. They just piled boxes and bags in the garage. They did not back the truck correctly and we had to use our own vehicles and left things to only have to go rent a U-haul to move what they could not fit in their truck. They Damaged a expensive leather recliner and dented and scratched a brand new dryer. They also scratched many table chairs. They also did not put one bedroom back together and left the bed frame on the floor and left the box springs and mattress up against the wall. It also took them 20-30mins to position the truck to even start loading furniture. I would not recommend them to anyone unless you want things damaged and have to work your ass off to help them as they take your money!!! Let's add to this review after doing 3-4 loads of laundry we found that they hooked up the washer wrong. The cold to the hot and the hot to the cold. So many Under Armour and Nike sweat suits were shrunk and now have to be replaced because of someone not taking their time and double checking their work. I know we should have checked the connections but after paying someone to do the job you should not have to question their work. After them saying "We are the best in this game!" that was a absolute lie and need to be held accountable for what they have destroyed and damaged! read more

Excellent experience from start to finish. This company worked my moving appointment in on less than 24 hours notice when the first company I booked cancelled/didn't even bother showing up. The booking experience was clear and efficient receiving my confirmation with price in writing within the hour. The movers (Chris and Roy) were polite, courteous, respectful, efficient and took excellent care of my belongings and treated them as they were their own. They took care to wrap/pack items to prevent damage and treated items with care. They were careful to place all items exactly where I wanted in the new home. They took my bed apart for me, unhooked my washer dryer and more and reassembled it in my new home. They even ran a cycle in my washer to confirm there were no leaks. My couch was too large to get in my home so they assembled a pulley and lifted the couch over two stories high. Roy kept saying "we got this Miss Kim, we'll take care of you" and they delivered above and beyond what I'm certain is not normal. They went over the charges with me so I could see how they came up with the total cost. I highly recommend and would do business with them again. In fact, I would never use anyone else. Billy and his team at Around the Clock movers are great! We needed a full house and home business move on a very short notice. Billy came to quote the next day. He provided the manpower and trucks to get job done five days later. It was a complicated, miserable move but his team kept a great attitude the whole time. It was a 12 hour day and they stuck with it in 100+ degree temps. He personally came back the next day with a specialist to assemble Grandma's Baby Grand and provided a missing part. The elevator space was small as was the door way from our house which required them to disassemble and then reassemble them for the move.They were quick reliable timely and very courteous. The movers were very friendly and efficient and the owner very prompt. My only issue is I asked every charge that I would encounter and was quoted the amount per hour and the service fee for the distance to be traveled. When they arrived, I was told about a $31 for insurance which I had to argue to decline. They completed my move within the two hours which I had financially allotted for. When it came time to pay my total came out higher than what was quoted. I was informed that they charged for an extra hour due to the drive back to the office (which was only 30 minutes away). After paying $75 for the drive itself, I do not see how it is still on my time to get them back to their location. I will not use this company again nor will I ever refer anyone to them. read more

OMG! Where do I start! I was scheduled for a move, 11/30/2016 @9am First off, they were LATE! They didn't show up until 9:30 but told me they wouldn't start billing until then, cool, had no problem with that. However, 15 minutes into the move, the driver decided they were going to move the truck, (closer to my apartment door) that way they wouldn't have far to walk/carry the stuff. BIG NO NO!!!! How about the TRUCK got stuck in the mud (it rained 2 days b4) They were stuck from 9:45AM - until 12:30pm - this is after 3 other trucks came to help. Once unstuck - they drove the truck back to their warehouse called and told me they had to change the trucks. WHY??? Some stupid reason. Mind you, they still had my stuff loaded in the truck. They made it back to my apartment at 1:30PM (after they had lunch) started to move my stuff (taking their time) and didn't finish until 5pm. That's loading my stuff onto the truck. It took them another 2 hours to put the stuff in the storage. It was a 2 bedroom apartment. Half of the stuff wasn't going, only the "big items" furniture and appliances. They didn't finish until damn near 6:45pm (almost 7) again taking their sweet time. I was so pissed, this was supposed to be an easy move. I was looking to be done moving between 12pm -1pm. This took ALL DAY!!! Then to make MATTERS WORSE - they charged me $452.00 to move me. Didn't compensate me for the time they wasted. The driver (the first one) told me I could pay with my credit card, all that changed after they got stuck in the mud. The driver called and told me I have to pay in CASH- WTF!!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM! I WAS TOLD BY A FRIEND THIS COMPANY WAS GOOD AND REASONABLE WITH PRICES, NO THAT'S A DAMN LIE! THEY CHARGE YOU $95 FOR TRAVELING FEE AND DAMN NEAR $100 AN HOUR! NO THANKS - I WILL DEFINELTY USE ANOTHER MOVING COMPANY IN THE NEAR FUTURE. This company is a RIP OFF! read more
