Rufino worked with us very closely until we had a design that would work well for our family and our budget.

There was confusion on the remint we chose a few days prior to install when they found scratches, but no big deal, stone is natural and it is a remint. All worked out on the stone and the staff was great. We could tell, they really wanted to make it work out. Quality: 4 star Overall the counter and sink look great! The back splash has some unpolished areas that you can see on the edge that is against the wall. Maybe this is normal, but we have not seen this on other back splashes. Install: 0 star Well, they really made a mess on the floors, sticky everywhere they walked. We are still cleaning this after several washing the floors. The problem is the sealer they put on after the counter was installed, it got on their boots and then everywhere they walked. Entryway, stairs, upstairs hall, bathroom they put the counter in and the main floor to the bathroom they used. Owner: Questionable We had a long discussion when he came to measure the bathroom about our kitchen counter. He had some very questionable recommendation's on electrical in violation of the law. Don't put the outlets in the counter surface, put them on the cabinet edge, you are not having it inspected and it was legal when the house was built, so who will know. On the area without support that the owner pointed out, an interior decorator (relative) sent us some photos of how to make the design work easily and be updated to what new homes have and meet the current electrical code. Note: I apologized for the truck having a hard time getting down the driveway, there was snow packed due to the extreme cold even with the snow plow person doing his best. So I put out 50 lbs. of Ice melt and 50 lbs. of sand and they drove out easily.

In regards to the owner, he will not let you complete a sentence because he talks over you. He…read moreseems to know everything and he won't admit to making a mistake. In my case, he did not make the oven opening square and our new oven would not fit. He had many excuses, but could not agree that it was his mistake. Now we have to pay for the edge to be ground square. It may be at my cost, but I certainly won't use Sedona. GOOD LUCK

The bathroom is small and increasing the size was not an option, so we weren't sure that "rearranging" the space would get us the bigger shower that we were hoping for, but Aimee (the designer) came out and took measurements and later presented us with a layout that would accomplish our goal. The finished product not only provides us with a bigger shower but it is absolutely gorgeous. There were some "hiccups" along the way, some major and some lesser so, but Aimee and Lauren (the scheduler) were reassuring and professional, and every issue was addressed. The crew always arrived when scheduled and, because of their professionalism and thoughtfulness we were not inconvenienced anywhere near as much as might be expected when you are living in the home during a construction project. I would definitely recommend Newmyer Kitchen and Bath to our friends and neighbors.

Both projects were done well and to our complete satisfaction. Planning with Jen, communication with Tracey, and oversight by Joe were excellent. The workmanship was great, and the workers themselves extended themselves to insure our complete satisfaction. We actually enjoyed having them around. There's one more project in our future, and we'll definitely use Newmyer.

After meeting with Taylor from Skyview and representatives from two rival companies, the decision as to who to sign with was easy to make because the rival companies didn't come close to offering the value, the customization and flexibility, or the quality of projected final product as Skyview. And that's just talking about the product and the return on investment for the cost (I have quotes from other companies for sunrooms half the size for roughly the same price, and they didn't have the same quality of building materials). When you factor in the high level of professionalism, exceptional customer service, and frequent, respectful communication, the value of working with Skyview gets better and better. Considering the amount of time that goes into a project like building a sunroom, working with a team that is respectful, reliable, friendly, and helpful is really important. The quality of the people themselves can make or break your experience. From the time we sat down to discuss options and make plans for our custom sunroom, all the way through the final completion and walk-through of the space, every individual member of the team was exceptional (from the crew building the room to the electricians brought in to the folks organizing logistics and communication from the office to the person actually designing our space). Whenever my partner or I had stupid questions, any member of the crew on site would take the time out to talk it through with us with impressive patience. Or Taylor or Valerie would respond to our email queries within a couple hours, often sooner than later. If there was a concern or question about the build itself, Matt would quickly involve himself to make sure things were addressed to our satisfaction. Even though this was one of many jobs for this team, they never once made us feel like *just another job*. This is especially a shout-out to the building crew since they were here all day long, day after day, in the bitter cold and over the holidays (not on the holidays, though, which we were happy they could enjoy). That they were always so great to work with or talk to in spite of the demands of the job goes to show how genuinely kind and professional they all are. The sunroom they built for us is off the back of our house. The first step was tearing out the old concrete patio and pouring a new slab. Then they began putting up the structure, putting in electrical, etc. They built a gabled roof into the existing roof of the house, which meant removing gutters, tearing into walls, shingling, putting up new gutters. They put down beautiful flooring, installed a ceiling fan (that we supplied, as per the agreement), put up a new interior wall (bead board) with an opening for a dog door (as requested), ran new electrical, installed a baseboard heater to make the room usable all year. The trim-work done at the end is beautiful. When all was said and done, they cleaned up the room and the yard quickly and efficiently. What I'm trying to say is, a lot of time, energy, expertise, and coordination went into putting this together for us. The sunroom has been completely finished for about a week and we have already spent more waking hours in it than the rest of the house. We love it. Our pets love it. We had friends in from out of town and they were blown away by it. I might build another sunroom off this sunroom just to have another project with this team. If you're thinking about a sunroom or other related project, I highly encourage you to contact Skyview and set up a consultation. There were no strings attached until we signed the contract. There's no risk because you can walk away if you aren't satisfied with the plan. But they customize their projects according to your wants and needs, so I think you'll be impressed.
