Writing a review of a church seems weird, so I will keep this as unbiased as possible, and limited to the facts that might draw interest from those looking for a local congregation.
If you want to know if a church is growing, take a look at 2 things: the health of the Sunday school classes, and the number of new members. LPC has both of those things growing wildly, adding new Sunday school classes all of the time to keep up with the number of people attending, and each new member's class has been bigger than the one before it.
There are many times we have neglected to get to church early, arriving just before 10, and we find there is nowhere to park so we have to go across the street to the fairgrounds. This also means the sanctuary will be packed, but someone is always there to greet us and make sure we find a seat. We are glad that this happens because it tells us that the church is doing well and that we will be surrounded by others who want to be there and worship.
I will let you decide if this is the right place for you to worship, and if the philosophy and theology of the church matches your own, but all I can say is that this place is growing, active, and alive, so we are glad to be a part of it. read more
