The check in was quick as no one was waiting. They had plexiglass between the staff and I. We received our keys and she told us where our room was. I went back later as she didn't provide us with the wifi code the first time. Our room was close to the Spa and a short walk. I booked a room with a 2 Queen beds, a jetted tub, and sitting area in the back of the room. There was a microwave and mini fridge. The beds were ok, a bit squishier than I like but still had a comfortable sleep. The jetted tub was fabulous and relaxing, I used it numerous times during our stay. We didn't watch TV at all as I had a tablet to watch shows on. I was expecting a decent walking path behind the inn but the path wasn't great with lots of branches on the walkway but we did go check it out. It was fairly quiet until our neighbours left their barking dog in their room while they were out. Due to covid they did not clean our room during our stay. If we needed anything, we went to the front desk and they were able to provide what we needed. The staff were friendly every time I interacted with them. It was nice to have the grocery store, a few restaurants, and stores to walk and browse. It was a short drive to Pigeon Lake Provincial Park. I would definitely stay here again for a close getaway only an hour from home!

The decor, in the rooms & lobby are all dated. My room had two double beds. Comfortable enough & the linens were decent. The furniture was all hacked up & the combined sink/bathroom were all very old. The room rates were only $179.92/nite which is about right for what you got. I will say that for the most part, the staff were very friendly. Also of note was the staff at the restaurant (Grillers) was exceptionally nice & friendly. I would not stay here again.

Would check that my keys were given to manager upon leaving, but told to leave them in the room.....hmmm...and they take a $100 room deposit, but don't ask for the key back?? NOT good. The Chinese food served downstairs was seriously understaffed, I bussed our table and refilled drinks myself (6 of us). The only good thing about this place was the price $59.99/night....I think next time I will bring a sleeping bag & sleep on the concrete, that's how comfortable the bed was. Anyways.....it's cheap, and here, you truly get what you pay for.

don't stay if you can help. i stayed here ( unfortunately ) i made a last minute decision to stay…read moreat this dump. the owner said if i stayed on the 3 rd floor i would not hear the band they have on the weekends. lie # 1, my room shook all night. the place is "non smoking" lie # 2 smells of smoke and can't forget the pot smell. housekeeping was terrible i had to clean and disinfect before i could stay there. dusty, dirty and stinky. not worth your $$$ here. she has sketchy people staying here can't trust anybody. especially when you have drunks in and out all night( guess that's what you get when no management is there at night. the funny thing is when i left. my $ 100 deposit was " missing", i had to argue for my deposit which was rightful mine. theis woman is a scammer !!!! stay away !!!!
