He helped me get on the right track for my 14 yr old terrier. Based on suggested supplements, my Daisy Mae is showing marked improvement. Thank you, Danny! Fabulous store and wonderful staff! We go for doggie treats, toys, and the DIY Dog Wash! Bring your own supply's or use theirs! there's steps that make it easy! Towels, perfect water temperature and an hour to get nice and clean. much easier than trying to bend over in the shower at home! I can not say enough wonderful things about this store and their outstanding staff! I drove an hour to get a Koi and though they didn't have any they were so so helpful and I bought two beautiful compatible fish for the Koi I have. While I was there a man named Michael was helping me and I had a few questions for him. I have a very old English lab who has the absolute worst breathe you could possibly imagine. His breathe was making my entire house smell, his coat smell and making it difficult to give him the attention and love he deserves. I spoke to Michael about my dog and he took the time truly to educate me on why . He gave me a wealth of information including seeking medical care. However, he recommended changing my old boy to a grain free dog food and adding a supplement to his water called bluestem. He nailed it! Overnight we noticed an immediate difference. Three days in and we can love our doggie up close and personal. I cannot thank him enough. Also while meandering through the store with my two older children there were associates everywhere and always willing to help. Everyone was so very friendly. Lifelong customer here now and with every ounce of gas to make the drive!!!! read more

He said to call next week to make sure new healthy shipment was available. Inside it's apparent that they just don't dump fish into aquaria. A great small-local business that has been around for years with a very knowledgeable staff. They supply all of a pet stores necessities and are great with product recommendations. They also test your aquarium water for free. I've brought my turtle here to get his nails clipped for $5.00 as well. Laconia Pet Center is a pet store gem in New Hampshire. I live in Manchester and on a whim went to this location when I was in the Tilton area. I was amazed by their extensive aquatics department. I was greeted by Maura who helped me for a solid hour learning about how to work on my first planted tank. Her knowledge blew me away. I purchased many plants and driftwood (for dirt cheap) and had to leave. In Manchester I raved about the place until I simply had to do the hour voyage with my husband here a week later. They don't carry many brands, they only carry the *BEST* brands, for very reasonable prices, and often every product the best brands have to offer. For example, I like Fluval for aquariums, they have everything. I like Oxbow for rabbits, they have everything. You can tell these people love animals, and they truly care for their aquatic pets as well, with very clean and happy looking tanks. If you live in Northern New England and you have pets, the trip is worth it, guaranteed. read more
