As I was driving to my appointment first thing in the morning, I get a call, telling me that my appointment was being pushed back several hours and they could not give me a time frame. I explained to this YOUNG girl that I made this appointment weeks ago, and I needed to get this done and get back to the hospital to my family. She rudely told me "nothing can be done, take it or leave it." I was shocked but not too much, given her age. I called Petco to complain and they LIED to back her story. SHAME ON PETCO! Adoption and then stores, from Massachusetts to the coast... the staff at bills never pressed us to buy, but always let us ask questions and play with the dogs to see if good fit. Was between this store and another in Salem, but the puppies there were violent, and temperamental. I missed out on a husky he had, but he called a breeder and got pictures of some pups, we picked a fat little boy. When he came in, we were first at the door! Even after we spent about an hour in the play area with the puppy, they never pressed, and answered questions about payment, health, vet checkups, about the breed. All the puppys here have always been the most playful and happy of dogs. Mine is the biggest cuddle bug, friendly and well behaved. So why not 5 stars? Not the biggest selection of food and toys, but what they do have is an awesome selection of well cared for dogs, tons of fish, kittens, and the fluffiest damn rabbit you every seen! Spend some time in the store, visit more than once before you make a snap choice, and you'll see how awesome of a store this is to!

So I actually didn't just stop in her store, rather I phoned her to inquire if she knew of anyone who could cat sit for us. She attempted to help us however that resource wasn't a viable one. She felt terrible that she couldn't think of another person and then she graciously told me she would do it. Cathy saved the day and our little cat Tink now has a new friend for life. Prior to cat sitting I went and met Cathy at her store. Her store blew me away. The minute you walk in Cat's Kingdom you can feel the love. You can also see some cats :). There was Moo, Augustus and a sweet little Clementine. (Clementine is only there for a few more weeks before she goes to her new forever home.) Cathy and I started chatting about pet sitting but as we were talking I was overwhelmed with all the options of food that I didn't think existed for Cats. I had been wanting fresh food (not canned or dry) for our cat. I had seen fresh food for dogs at Whole Foods and Petsmart, etc. but none for Cats. Cathy has it!!! I'm telling you, you must check out her store.!! I am now a loyal customer and I know that if I have to go away for a few days Tink will get to see her buddy again :). The customer service is horrible. I bought a couple fish about 48 hours ago and some of them got…read morewhite spots and I searched online - it might be fungus. I drove 40mins (one way) to the store and the girl said "it looks ok to me". I asked can she switch the ones with the white spots, then she said "we can't take fish back especially you suspect that they are sick". I said "but you were sure they are not sick!" she went: "you can get 50% refund if we test your water, but can't be this water - it can't have any fish in it". At the end I gave up; I really cannot figure out her logic. I cannot afford another trip of 1.5 hours round-trip to send in water sample either. She even went "if they are sick, now all your fishes in the tank got it". - Very helpful. I am extremely disappointed as I have been with the store for more than 5 years. I only hope my other fishes in my tank did not get it
