I was drawn to this store because I used the soap at a nearby restaurant the night before and wanted to come in and see what soaps and lotions were for sale inside. It's a small florist shop with friendly staff who greeted us and offered assistance with pre-made floral items in a small cooler to the right of the shop and a ton of gifts and knick-knacks inside. It has much more in the way of gift items than expected and a very large selection of skincare items from local Virginia Aromatics which are made in Orange. There was bug spray, lotion, soap, scrub, bath salts, chapstick, etc. All smelled wonderful. A cute shop with some nice items and the soaps are soft and luxurious. read more

Lacy's Florists did our arrangements for our wedding a couple of weeks ago, and let me tell you, they are so amazing!!! Annette was super sweet and a joy to work with. From our first email contact, I knew that I wanted her as my florist. She was communicative and was able to help me envision what I wanted for my special day based off of photo inspiration. She was a big help from the first consultation to wedding day, and even after. She was transparent and willing to work with my budget, as well as make recommendations. When I got the final product on my wedding day, I was blown away! The arrangements were so beautiful and were everything I imagined. Wanted to personalize a "blue Horizon" flora arrangement that was on the site. The flower arrangement "blue Horizon" has three types of flowers and I only wanted the roses removed. I called in and spoke to a very nice lady. Pricing: standard ($61), deluxe($70) and premium ($79). I ended up ordering $90 (way over the prices stated) in flowers and $10 in delivery. I was very excited as I was expecting the flora arrangement to be a knockout with only two flowers Lilies and Blue Iris. Upon the first delivery, they texted a picture of a floral arrangement that had 6 different types of flowers, not the two requested per our phone call. The first arrangement was returned and not delivered. Then I texted a picture of just lilies and what I wanted it to look like (see $100 worth of lilies I receive my florist every month). Round 2: I spoke to another nice lady and told her I only wanted Lilies and nothing else since the blue iris's is not in season. 2nd day of delivery: which I only wanted white lilies, they delivered way more greenery than anticipated, with babies breath, flat white flower (?), Eucalyptus gunnii and lilies. When I received the next text of the that had been delivered, I responded to the text stated that I only asked for lilies only but ok since I couldn't have been clearer on the order. Text from the Florist: "Just delivered .. "the pics doesn't give it justice, I'd stl-rast 15 lilies all together... X loved it... thank you for your patience". read more

My "Honey" from Pennsylvania sent me flowers for valentine's day. They requested a bouquet with a variety of flowers to show how much they love me. They also asked for honey bees to be a part of the arrangement. There was a lot of love and creativity put into the arrangement that I received! Annette provided the flowers for our October 7 wedding and they were gorgeous! Everyone commented on how beautiful the flowers were and how it added to the beauty of our venue. We were a little hard to work with but Annette was very patient with us and responded to all of our questions and worked with our budget. We live in the Washington DC area and Annette was way more affordable, and beautiful, than any other florist we could have picked in our area. Words cannot begin to describe how amazing Annette + the team at Lacy's Florist are. I had no idea where to even begin with flowers when I started planning my wedding and was dreading the prices that came with them. After doing some research, I came upon Lacy's Florist - a small little floral shop a few minutes away from my venue, the Market at Grelen. From a year out, Annette was always so friendly, responsive, and helpful. I gave Annette a budget and she worked with it - our email thread grew long with various photos of my indecisiveness and revised proposals, yet, she always provided quick feedback and input. I shared inspo photos and she brought my vision to life - better than I could have imagined. I was speechless when I saw my bouquet/my bridesmaids bouquets and the greenery I dreamt about on my arbor and in our tent's chandeliers. She also worked with me last minute to create a beautiful, all white roses bouquet for my Vietnamese tea ceremony the day before my wedding. Lacy's did my flowers for my wedding on October 14th and they were amazing! I went into my consultation not knowing much about flowers, said make it what you will and have her some colors. I didn't think I wanted fancy flowers just some nice bouquets, well....I cannot say enough good things about Lacy. The flowers were beautiful, everyone complimented them and I was beyond amazed. From the bouquets to boutonnières and even the beautiful pearl bracelet corsages for my mother and mother-in-law! Wow! My husband I trusted Lacy's Florist to deliver an arrangement to his mother for her birthday. We live in NC and called to discuss the arrangement and what we wanted. My husband specifically told the florist NO daisies. The person laughed and was sarcastic during the phone conversation. They were not professional, however, she promised to deliver a beautiful arrangement and my husband believed she would. The floral arrangement that arrived was not at all what we asked for. A Large DAISY was front and center. I believe this was done out of spite. The colors in the arrangement did not even match.....blaze orange and red!
