The level of service that we have all received has been beyond excellent. in 2015, My brothers and I sent my parents on an Alaskan Cruise for their 50th anniversary. Rhonda was great to work with, answering our abundant questions as this was our first time cruising. We tagged along and enjoyed it so much we booked another Alaskan cruise the following for the following year. 2019 had us doing a 15 day Panama Canal and our 3rd Alaskan cruise with a group of friends, all handled by Rhonda at TerraMar. We had our 5 cruise planned for Europe in 2020 but covid got in the way. I can imagine the hassles of cancelling and refunds without the help of Rhonda. Starting to think about our next one, and you can be sure we will be using TerraMar, even though we live at the other end of the state, Rhonda is our go to for our vacation planning!

I have never used a travel company because I have always done the research but this time I thought I would give a travel company a try. I used this travel company for no specific reason. Debra was my travel agent and at first I was excited because she said she would follow up before, during and after our vacation which I thought was awesome but it seemed like she wanted me to already have a hotel and time picked out. My husband and I wanted to go to Tahoe for a week and we had an open schedule after next July but we wanted to try and be right on the lake. She emailed me asking when we wanted to go and I told her we were open because I do not know when the best time would be and in my mind as a travel agent that is one of your jobs is to look up and Inform the travel of best time. Instead of her informing me of a good time she said she sent a link of best time to go and when I told her I couldn't open it she responded with you just need to put that in the search bar. I'm sorry why would I be using a travel agent if I was needing to do my own research, I wanted a travel agent thinking they know Tahoe and will know when is a good time to go and which area would be best for our vacation. Maybe I am wrong on what a travel agent actually does but it seems like she didn't want to help. For one month we were emailing and she never once emailed me a resort to look at or a hotel to look at. The last email she wrote me stated that if I wanted a house on the lake I would need to go threw a private company and to email her back if I decide on a hotel. Why wouldn't she tell me that a month ago when I first told her we wanted to be on the lake and I told her we were open so why wouldn't she send me a few hotels or resorts that she uses frequently that are near lakes? To me as a travel agent that is what you do but again maybe I am wrong and that's not what they do. I do not recommend this company because I feel like for a month this woman just wasted my time and really didn't seem like she cared.

I was always in direct contact with someone either through email or phone to answer all my scary needs. Once my deposit was paid they continued to purchase the tickets. They informed me that my flight price had gone up and asked if I wanted to continue. I did and also found a cheaper price with their help. I was sent the pdf receipt of purchase with my name and my husband name on the flight. My payments are scheduled and I have access any time to make payments as long as they are made by the due date. I will update when we are fully paid and actually receive our tickets! So far so good and now I'm able to relax a little. This is my first international trip and this definitely took the stress away. ***update**** 7/28/2019 So I'm updated my experience since my trip! The trip was amazing ! There were no issues with flight or information. Flightlaway helped my husband and I live a dream. I will definitely be using them in the future. We booked a trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and stayed at the Excellence for 7 nights. IT WAS AMAZING!! An all-inclusive resort, we had a good mix of relaxation and adventure. We got the tan of our lives, plenty of romantic dinners, horseback riding on the beach, snorkeling excursions, catamaran ride to a neighboring island, and countless other amenities.
