Miss Ann is truly an exceptional teacher. The way she works with Daniel emotionally, with so much patience, care, and understanding, has made such a beautiful difference in his growth. She always keeps open communication with us as parents, which we deeply appreciate. We always know what is happening at school and how we can support Daniel together. We've seen wonderful improvements in Daniel's writing, reading, memory, geography knowledge, and overall confidence. A special thank you as well to Miss Rosemary and Miss Soymia for their care and dedication. They always create such lovely celebrations and special moments for the children. Montessori of Stevenson Ranch truly feels like a caring community, and we're so thankful for everyone there.

Since being in her classroom, we have noticed a significant increase in Alexander's confidence, especially when speaking in front of others. Knowing that Ms. Jethal also has experience as a public speaking professor for adults, it is easy to see how her ability to build confidence and communication skills carries over into the way she teaches and encourages her students. What we appreciate most is that her teaching goes far beyond traditional academics. We have seen Alexander become more focused and engaged not only with words, numbers, geography, and other foundational subjects, but also with skills that have meaningful real-world applications. Ms. Jethal incorporates meditation, deep breathing exercises, interpersonal skills, communication, and emotional awareness into the classroom. These are lessons that will benefit children far beyond their time in school. Her attentiveness, patience, and dedication to Alexander, and to her students as a whole, have been very apparent to us as parents. It means so much to know that our son is learning from a teacher who genuinely cares about both his academic development and the kind of person he is becoming. Our experience with Ms. Jethal has been so positive that it is one of the reasons we are planning to enroll our other son at Montessori Stevenson Ranch as well. Teachers like Ms. Jethal give parents hope and reassurance that there are still educators who are deeply invested in teaching children not only academics, but also the values, confidence, discipline, communication skills, and emotional tools they need to grow into capable and compassionate young men and women. Thank you, Ms. Jethal, for the time, energy, patience, and care you invest in Alexander every day. Your influence is noticed at home, and we truly appreciate everything you do for him and for all of your students. We feel very fortunate that Alexander has you as his teacher!

She is very hands on and is an amazing teacher. They are allowed to be children and explore the world around them. They do gardening, play in the mud, and many outdoor activities where they can learn through play. The children are taught values: how to be kind and respectful, how to be a good friend and of course academics. The smaller class size means that your child will get better quality of education versus a class of 29 in public school. After my 4th child graduated kindergarten, it was a no brainer for me to enroll my 5th child at Rise and Shine. My 5th child has learned and grown so much since starting kindergarten! He developed love for God and enjoys praying and reading his bible before going to bed. Don't be fooled though, the academic portion of the kindergarten class is really challenging and at the end of the day your child will surprise you with what he's learned in class. We really love Teacher Jeannie and Rise and Shine. I have nothing but praise and gratitude for them. Even if you have Teacher Jeannie as your teacher, you will feel that the school has a family atmosphere. Every one knows your child by name and truly cares. My only regret is not discovering them sooner with my 3 older children and I still pray that they open up elementary classes! That would be the dream!

The staff is warm, loving, and truly invested in the children's development. we have built a great rapport with Keelan as well as the each of my daughters teachers. My daughter has been attending for 2 years and has learned so much, from social skills to academics. She will soon be entering her third year and now my second daughter will be starting this summer as well. They have a fantastic, play-based curriculum and always keep us updated with daily reports. The facility is clean and safe, and the teachers truly treat the kids like family. We always feel at ease leaving our child here. Highly recommended to any parent looking for a nurturing and engaging environment!

That to me is a reflection that teachers are treated well and they are not spread thin. Also I was able to bring food from home, so I could have him have the food I wanted him to have with ingredients I know. He loved all the art and music classes. People at the reception desk know all kiddo's name and parents. Their pairing for teachers for each class was good too. When you learn the dynamics, you can tell it was not just a random placement. Big shout out to Ms Erika, Ms Joyce, Ms Courtney, Ms Kim and Ms Naomi! We were so happy to have you guys in his early life.

As parents, my wife and I feel truly grateful for the experience our daughter had at this school…read moreover the past five years, from Nido to Casa 5. It has been such a meaningful journey for our family. We've watched our daughter grow step by step -- becoming more confident, emotionally aware, and socially comfortable in ways we will always appreciate. The teachers have been incredibly supportive and kind throughout. They've taken the time to really understand her, guiding her with patience and care while also encouraging independence and curiosity. We've always felt welcome and well-informed as parents, and communication has been clear and reassuring. Over the years, our daughter has taken part in recitals, science fairs, and different performances, each one helping build confidence and creating joyful memories. It's been beautiful to see her enjoy learning and express herself so freely. We are also very thankful for the approach, which has created such a calm, respectful, and child-focused environment. It has allowed our daughter to learn at her own pace and develop a genuine love for learning, rather than just focusing on results. Most of all, we want to sincerely thank Ms. Rushani for her outstanding leadership as Director. Her experience, knowledge, and understanding are clearly reflected in every part of the school. She leads with care and intention, and it has made a real difference in our daughter's early education. We are leaving with full hearts and deep appreciation for everything this school has given our daughter and our family.

We had such an unfortunate experience at this school. My son started here when he was an infant,…read moreunable to communicate with the going ons of his day were. As he grew older and able to communicate more with gestures, he would direct me away from the school when I was driving to drop him off. He would have severe meltdowns at drop off every morning. Initially, I thought it was separation anxiety and continued to encourage him to go to the school. After the director and teacher complained that he was too advanced for the two-year-old class at two years old they placed him in the three-year-old class. (I've since learned this is a common thing in this type of school) They then began to complain that he was not meeting the expectations developmentally. We were told he was choosing to go to the bathroom " outside of the scheduled bathroom time" which is insane considering he is two years old and potty trained. He should be able to go to the bathroom whenever he feels like he needs to. We were being told that we didn't " discipline" him enough at home, given there were two of us (which also wasn't true because my son's father was deployed at this time). We hired a behavioral therapist company to work with him in the program, which is when we discovered that the teachers and director at the school were treating my son horribly. Multiple staff members from our behavioral agency noted that they were making disrespectful and rude comments to the children. Asking the therapists if they can make my child "shut up" & Placing inappropriate expectations on them that were outside of their developmental appropriate age. The director herself lied directly to our face saying the teachers were using resources that we provided to support them, such as timers for transitions and token economies for following directions. We were told " we don't really do that here, but we will to see if it works" when we pulled our child out of the program due to our agency, calling us with severe concerns of maltreatment (the ABA company genuinely called and said if you can remove him from this school tomorrow you should), we requested our items back. Then we were told by the school they didn't even have these items anymore (which is crazy because 24 hours prior they lied directly to my face saying they were using them daily) If I could scream from the rooftops not to bring your child to this program, I would. If not only for the safety of your child's mental health. It took several years for my child to be able to trust schools and adults again. He would absolutely shake in terror around anyone with a British/Indian accent similar to Mrs Rushani. He's now in first grade at a public school in general education and thriving thankfully. He required a lot of love and understanding to trust school again. It was a long recovery from the treatment he received at this horrible school. 0 stars.
