Ladybug has been my choice of childcare facility since our family moved to the area in 2010. My older boys greatly enjoyed the school age program and my daughter started in the Toddler A room and has since moved her way up into the Preschool Room. I am consistently impressed with the teachers and their level of dedication to the children along with all of the programs that they implement especially in the Preschool room. My daughter is learning computer skills, Spanish, trying a variety of foods and is always happy to head to "school" each morning and cannot wait to tell me about her day. I know that Ladybug is priced slightly higher than other facilities in Waconia, but I gladly pay the little extra because I see how advanced she is for a 4 year old compared to others her age. She is more than ready to head to school in the Fall of 2013. I would never consider switching childcare and would recommend Ladybug to anyone that would be looking for quality childcare in the Waconia area. read more

Established in Chaska in 1981, Ladybug Child Care Center is still a family owned and operated child care center. In 2006, Ladybug began construction in Waconia on our second site. Ladybug Child Care Center opened in Waconia on August 4, 2007. Currently, Ladybug teaches and cares for children ages 6 weeks to age 12. Meet the Business Owner: Miss Connie K.

Who ever heard of a 4 year old and a 6 year old naming a business? But, odd as that may be, it is what happened. When I considered opening a child care center, as they were called back in 1981, I first looked at the names of other centers. Problem was those names all seemed too adult or too stuffy to be about children. So, I consulted an expert on children - Mother Goose. But now how to choose? What would be easily remembered? Gripped by indecision, this time I turned to non-experts, people for whom the world was simple and simply fun-the 4 and 6 year olds mentioned at the beginning of this story. Let us not forget their 2 year old brother! Together, they declared "Ladybug" it would be, and thus it is! As for that 6 and 2 year old--well, they grew up; but still attend Ladybug every day! You know them as Miss Michelle and Mr. Stephen. And during more than 30 years, Ladybug has been home to my six children and my other 5000 or so! Miss Connie

The music was beautiful and the gospel reading was moving. Although this service with modern music was not what I am used to, I felt comfortable...until the sermon. The pastor completely missed the mark. He began by asking, "How would you feel if someone killed your child?" He then proceeded call us all killers by saying things like, "You killed Him!" (Repeatedly and with conviction). This was all said Easter Sunday morning to a parish that included small children. Easter is a day of celebration and joy. It is a day that, as Christians, we celebrate a miracle that changed the world. It set us free. It is a time to be grateful for the life Christ gave us, not for the life human sin ended.

My brother-on-law moved 3 trailers full of stuff, going back and forth from Hugo to Blaine before they even got to my house the first time, we all left at the same time. I think they were intentionally slow so they could charge us 4x's the amount quoted to me for an entire day (which is only 4 hours for them). They also broke multiple items, even with their "insurance" I was not reimbursed for anything. I also had to have them correct the contract 5 times before they actually got it correct. This company is horrible, if I could give them negative stars I would. This company is so crooked they are a circle! Response: your crew did not take an unpaid lunch break, it was included in the time they added to my bill at the end. They also very much pressure me to tip them because, as they put it, "This company does not pay us very well." Not only was I quoted roughly $1500, and it ended up costing me almost $5K for the service, I ended up tipping them because they know where I live and I didn't want anything to happen to my wife, and your crew took more breaks than they actually worked. Regardless of what you say, your company is crooked, incompetent, and needs to be put out of business. My next report is to the BBB!
