I play volleyballl every day at 11 and she works out in the pool at 10. Pine Ridge is quiet, well maintained, financially sound in spite of the economic down turn, and it's a great place to live. We're snowbirds, but we like our neighbors and friends in Pine Ridge better than our friends in our community up north. A condo here is a great place to live or even to rent. It's worth a look. During my stay, I appreciated some of the team--especially Chuck, who remains incredibly helpful, and Nico from maintenance. However, many aspects that once made this community enjoyable have changed significantly. The welcoming feel has faded since Rebecca and Henry, who really understood customer service, were replaced by Chantal and Abby. Since they joined, the overall service and communication from the front office have both gone downhill. It once took 11 days for them to respond to a basic email. On multiple occasions they've provide false/incorrect info. It's wild how many of my neighbors specifically notated the change in personnel and management being the reason for their departures. Turnover is rampant here. As of November 2024, they had 20+ units available for leasing, which is a horrible sign in the middle of busy season. There are a large number of units in buildings 4 and 5 now being leased to and occupied by workers from Mediterra and Arthrex. Even while these companies are leasing 20+ units across multiple buildings, the community still has an additional 20 units open. That means turnover here is astronomical. Additionally, there have been some strange incidents that reflect poorly on management's oversight. For instance, random dogs have been seen running loose around the property at 1 a.m., barking non-stop creating an unsafe environment. One neighbor allowed his dog to defecate and urinate INSIDE his unit for months before any action was taken, creating a horrible smell and a clear health concern. (They re-rented that same unit weeks later... ewww) There have also been random times when the police were called for noise disturbances (since this is the action the office tells you to take) adding to the sense of disorder. I have always lived in Greystar buildings and planned to continue, however, because of Abby specifically, her continued false statements behaviors, and the lack of service provided on behalf of Greystar, I wouldn't return to a Greystar building in the future. It's disappointing that the level of service no longer meets the standard anyone would expect from Greystar properties. Greystar should be thoroughly ashamed of this property and its, at best, dubious and unsavory business practices.

The amenities are beyond impressive: the most beautiful and clean pool I've ever seen in a rental community, miniature golf, bowling, billiards, a golf simulator, Kids Park, Communit Garden, Car Wash, Fire pits, two dog parks, BBQ grills, lakefront walking and biking trails, Allura bikes, multiple kitchen and entertaining spaces, and TVs everywhere. But the heart of Allura is the management team. They go above and beyond! Hosting monthly community events and bringing in food trucks almost every Friday, which truly makes this place feel like a neighborhood and not just an apartment complex. It's safe, peaceful, and full of great energy. I honestly stay in my Allura bubble because everything I love is right here.

We enjoy daily walks around the lake and throughout the complex, relaxing poolside, hitting the gym, and lounging in the clubhouse surrounded by good company. It's a peaceful, welcoming environment and we truly enjoy our living experience here. We were locked down first out of ALL the developments in the area and while the others have opened as has the CITY of Fort Myers, GL homes has refused to budge. They finally hung the hoop up and opened the pool recently. YET, NO gym, even with limited numbers. Singles only for tennis or pickle ball which is very hard considering the ages of the owners. NO gym even though CITY of Ft. Myers has been open for 2 weeks. You sign a packet 6 inches thick when you buy with them and they are tyrants. The homes are nice but the community isn't worth the headache. We will most like sell and move to Corkscrew Shores. Much nicer amenities and not run by a bunch of power hungry over paid staff with a taste for treating adults like children. We have received little to no feed back. We are to sit and wait until the big wigs meet and tell us if we can use the facilities we are paying top dollar for. Very frustrating to say the least. Should anything like this happen again a GL community is not where you want to being living.

Always paid rent on time! During my tenancy, I experienced ongoing cockroach issues that appeared to come from a neighboring unit. Despite repeated extermination efforts, the problem was never fully resolved. Due to a work transfer out of state, I had to terminate my lease four months early. I was charged $4,109 (two months' rent), even though the unit was re-rented within two weeks. Because I signed an early termination agreement, management declined to negotiate the charges or consider the unresolved pest issues. They also would not offer a payment plan and indicated the balance could be sent to collections. Prospective renters should carefully review lease terms and understand policies regarding early termination and maintenance issues before signing. They will also tow cars without a prior notification even though you are REQUIRED to have sticker issued by them. RENTER BEWARE!!!!! Read all reviews thoroughly before signing!

No one appears to want to handle this situation due to him be a male. If you are too afraid to take action because the person at fault is a male and you're a female then you shouldn't be in the position of power. After hearing first hand the insane noises I am still told to just call the cops because they can't do anything. I've lived all over and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Whoever is above the property manager needs to be aware of this .
