They made me feel so bad I left behind my $825 uncompleted paid for service, and I won't be back to finish it. The issue: After coming here for almost 2 years, I had a last-minute emergency come up and they were so unempathetic to a long-time client who has never once canceled or been late they challenged me on their cancellation policy (which is a $100), for only a check-up/ optional appointment. Turned me off in a big way. The net: imagine if you have a real challenge like unhappy with your services. Doesn't inspire trust. Not a spa- a transactional spot. ***************UPDATED REVIEW**************************** When was the last time you saw a business owner slander a customer publicly for a trivial misunderstanding? Never? Yes, me neither. Check out the owner's reply to my original review (on google reviews). This should tell you everything you need to know about my experience with Crystal and Laguna Med Spa. Here's what actually happened - which I omitted in detail from my original review because of my LTR with this place. Toni, the new front desk person was trying to enforce the $100 cancelation fee and when I protested - as I have the right to do, Toni took it personally, overinflated the exchange between us (including a version where I am cursing and hanging up - which is completely false), and took it to Crystal (owner). Do you remember being young & inexperienced and getting your feelings hurt when a customer protested? This is exactly what happened in this case. But then things got worse. Two days later - Crystal called me in the middle of the day while I was at work, and was so angry from the onset from "the story" her "new on the scene" receptionist Toni had sold her, that the first words I uttered when I heard Crystal's voice/tone/choice of words were "Are you calling to reprimand me?" This should give you an idea of Crystal's aggression during the phone call she claims she made to me to "smooth things over." On the contrary, I felt attacked, embarrassed, and shamed. Then after all that - Crystal calms down, and tries to backpedal and ask me to come back and finish my service, that she doesn't want to loose me as a client, but to please not be mad at her receptionist Toni. In a business where trusting the provider is of utmost importance, in what world did Crystal think she could put me through all of that and that I would then feel comfortable coming back in to complete my pre-paid service ? I didn't hang up on Crystal as she says on her reply, I was simply done talking. I told her I wasn't able to come in anymore and that she had just lost a long-time client for a misunderstanding, and in tears, I hung up. In the end, I was the one who lost the most. I'm out my provider which I really liked, I'm out the time I invested to create trust and a relationship with LMS, and I'm out $825, and Crystal didn't have the heart to stop at that. She got upset at my very vanilla original review (which is the least I could do after loosing everything I lost and how I was treated), and posted a false narrative defaming my character. Crystal is a nice lady and I enjoyed our time together and the services she provided. Unfortunately, she completely mismanaged this trivial situation. I cannot reiterate how terrible they made me feel. Imagine feeling so bad you leave your pre-paid services behind! If you choose LMS, tread with caution is all I can say. May you never have an actual issue - as look at where I landed with my trivial misunderstanding. With all the great spas and providers everywhere - find one that understands how to deal with customer conflict in a professional manner. read more

I've for years had next to no eyebrows. First over tweezed than age removed some more. I have a drawer full of products to give me the perfect brow,only to be dissatisfied with each product. This review is for microblading: I had my brows done by Crystal and I am so in love with the results! Her studio is very clean and beautiful. She took the time to draw my brows as evenly as possible before starting the microblade treatment. Microblading is a little uncomfortable but totally worth it in the end! I'm a licensed esthetician so I did a ton of research before going with Crystal....my advice is to find someone who is passionate about their work when it comes to your face. For most of my adult life I have had very little hair in my eyebrows. It has always been a problem as my eyebrow pencil would smear or rub off during the course of the day. I finally decided to get permanent make up. I did a great deal of research and decided on Laguna Skin Care in Parker, Colorado. I found Crystal Harman to be very professional, very prepared and very knowledgeable. She performed a skin test to see if my skin had any adverse reaction to the permanent makeup solution. The actual procedure was so much easier that I thought it would be. And now I do not need eyebrow pencil at all. I should have done this years ago. So let me just say... I LOVE MY EYEBROWS!! Never thought I would do any kind of enhancements but after looking at recent pics of myself, my forehead looked so big because you can't see my blonde brows. So I talk to crystal about how scared and on the fence I was. She suggested that she do them with my makeup for the day and see if i like them and that I felt comfortable with the way they look on my face. BEWARE if you have any type of sensitive skin issue or reaction as this spa will take zero responsibility for anything that may go wrong. I had lash extensions put on for a vacation that I was taking in November which cost $250 but I had a coupon for a discount of 25% so I was charged $187.50 plus I gave a $20 tip and purchased a product there so my total came to $283.10. Almost immediately my eyes started to itch (I've had this procedure done twice before at other spas with no issue). I tried this spa because it is located much closer to my home. The next morning when I woke about 60% of the lashes had fallen off and I literally had to pry my eyes open. I went in and had the rest removed that day and walked out in sunglasses due to horribly blood shot eyes and swelling. I looked terrible. And just in time for my trip. I assumed I would at least get an in-house equivalent for another service. But when I called I was told they would give me $125 toward another service. Which I accepted but after a couple of months went by I was worried they would not honor it so I called to be certain. Crystal, the owner decided that I should only get a $93.75 in-house credit due to the fact that I had used a coupon and despite the fact that I was originally told by her receptionist, Andrea I would receive a $125 credit and she would not budge insisting that this was fair even though they have a have a hypoallergenic glue they could have used or offered to me. But that's beside the point here. IF I was asking for a cash refund I could understand maybe using the $93.75 amount because you are dealing with cash. But to discount my credit because of a coupon and offer up an in-house credit for $93.75 is ridiculous and unfair in my opinion. Despite several phone calls (they had to keep cutting me off) for one reason or another, Crystal stuck to her guns and said they normally do not offer anyone a credit due to a reaction but that she was trying to make me happy. She wasn't trying very hard because I simply wanted them to stick to their original offer that they made to me of $125 in-house credit. That's all and I believe not too much to ask considering how much I spent there in the first place. Not fair! read more

I'd been wanting to get some kind of permanent eyeliner for a few years...I don't like putting on makeup except for special occasions, but since I have pale eyes, pale skin, pale hair, and short, thin eyelashes (boring!), I thought I should do something so I don't look so washed out all the time. I found Crystal after checking out several possible places, and I'm SO GLAD I went to her. She's so pleasant and knowledgeable, and she educated me about the procedure and possibilities so I could decide exactly what I wanted. I have to take thyroid medication, and she let me know ahead of time that this condition could impact how well my permanent eye makeup would "take". I proceeded anyway, and I'm very, very pleased with the results (I had more fading than is "typical", but it's still such a vast improvement!). On a resent scuba diving trip, I left my makeup at home and never had to worry about smudging and smearing. It was wonderful! I'll be going to Crystal for future touch ups and skin care, too.
