Each time I am made to feel like a huge inconvenience to the dentist and staff, therefore I refuse to go back and am looking for a new cosmetic dentist for a complete redo. And I lost over $2000 for this two teeth that have to be completely redone in less than 6 months. Mind you prior to this I had composite bonding on a peg lateral for 11 years with NO issues. We found a great pediatric dentist for our son, and was referred to Dr. Freeman by his dentist. I'm so glad! The initial phone call was literally the best customer service I've experienced in ages (I work in customer service, so my standards are pretty high). Lisa was competent, warm, friendly and efficient. She scheduled my husband's appointment and promptly followed up with an email of new patient paperwork. Lisa also understood that my appointment would coincide with the birth of my second child, and made a note. Sure enough - I missed my first appointment due to the arrival of my new kiddo, and she helped me reschedule. The new appointment wouldn't be for a couple of months, but she offered to put me on the cancellation list - a way for me to be seen more quickly. Sure enough, an appointment was available the very next day - but I was stuck with both boys at home (2.5 years old and 3 weeks old!). She was very understanding and said it would be fine to bring them with me. Amy (my hygienist) was fantastic - I was due for a ton of new X-rays and she was very good - taking time to explain what our next steps were and my course of treatment after my cleaning. During this time, we had to rein in my toddler a couple of times (he did so well, but got bored a couple of times and wanted to walk around)... and of course, my newborn woke up during my cleaning. Lisa didn't even hesitate - she offered to hold my youngest son while we finished my cleaning, and even walked my oldest back to the waiting room to play with the toys. Insert my googly-eyes here. I was already nervous and worried about this whole experience, but Amy and Lisa went way beyond. They treated us like family. Dr. Freeman was also amazing. Very professional and friendly, and a pleasure to work with. I had no anxiety working with her (a problem I've had with dentists in the past) and look forward to my next appointment in the summer. After all this - my youngest son actually woke up and wanted to nurse. I don't mind nursing in public, but Dr. Freeman offered the use of her office to us. Both my daughter and I were given paperwork about what we would owe before we had the procedures done. They claim they got the estimates directly from our insurance. If so, how can they be wrong on what insurance will pay? I have paid my portion for what I was quoted and they now say I owe more. This is a scam. Insurance pays the negotiated fee, if this dentist wants more than the negotiated fee then don't take my insurance. My daughter was charged double what she was quoted! The office staff was rude and condescending when questioned about the additional billing. Their billing incompetence to get insurance estimates correct should not be the patients responsibility. This difference should be a write-off to the dentist and a wake up call to get staff that can get the insurance quotes correct the first time.

I have THE BEST hygienist I could possibly imagine now. Amy takes her time, connects with me emotionally, senses when I'm feeling anxious and stops. On my first appointment, I had the sedation options explained to me and I started with laughing gas, though if needed, I could take prescription meds or they will even put you out under anesthesia to do your dental work. For me, I use the gas, lay under a comfy blanket with headphones and DirecTV on. It's a great environment and so very loving. I've progressed to not obsessing about my appointments, I'm able to sleep the night before and I don't cry anymore. I love Meadows so much that I referred my husband, who doesn't have a problem getting his teeth cleaned here. He didn't like his former dentist and tried Meadows (again- LOVE Amy!) and saw what I meant. We do not live close to Meadows- I'm up by the airport and it's in HR, but I will drive wherever for this type of care.

Not only was I in the dental field but also have taken many classes on osha and hundreds of hours of infection control and also trained offices in this. I do not have dental insurance and never ask how much a cleaning/exam/X-rays will cost since I am very familiar of the cost. My daughter was the first to be seen here. Dr. Baer did not introduce himself and has zero bedside manner. This is the one profession I can say patients can be very apprehensive due to a bad experience or really anything. My daughter has never been scared to see the dentist(she is 17 years old). She left crying and upset. Fast forward to one week later my husband and myself had our cleaning, exam, X-rays. First off the X-rays she took on me hurt-never have I ever been hurt or gagged liked that. She kept saying how small my mouth was and etc. No sorry, you just are not trained enough. Then she cleans the X-ray tube with a Sani cloth while using her gloves she had on with my saliva all over them. What is wrong with these people? Also, no plastic barriers on anything. She even kept touching the mouse for the computer with her dirty gloves!! No way are you supposed to do that and wiping it down with a Sani cloth isn't going to kill everything on that mouse. She then cleans my teeth-worst cleaning ever had!! My teeth still feel dirty, I can tell from experience she must have only been doing it not long enough or trained by the wrong school. The kicker came when I paid $916 for prophy/exam/X-rays. Never in my life have I paid that much!! This was for 2 people but normally $300 at the most(per person so a total of $600).They can't get anywhere close to that from insurance which pays by a UCR or fee schedule. I'm paying out of pocket-they took full advantage. Then they wouldn't even give me a treatment plan!! The young girl in the front said they would send me one. They finally sent a treatment plan with no amounts. This is insane guys!! I have officially seen it all!! This office gives Dentists bad reputations! Terrible!! I called and spoke with Vivian who was cheerful, friendly, and efficient. She took all of my information and got me booked all in the span of 2 minutes. Two days later, I had my first exam/teeth cleaning (the last place I went made me split up x-rays and cleaning into two separate days!!). 1) The decor is beautiful. I feel like I'm hanging out in an upscale living room. She also has a bunch of great NEW magazines and books stacked up for you to read while you wait. (Although there wasn't much of a wait... BONUS!) 2) The examination room is clean with a big window for you to look out at the Rocky Mountains. My last dentist had no windows and broken equipment. Dr. Ambida's office had top-of-the-line, well-taken-care-of equipment. 3) X-rays were done efficiently with no discomfort. 4) Dr. Ambida came in and did the cleaning. She was SO NICE and really gave me great information about what was going on with my teeth; alternative solutions to keep my teeth healthy (chew gum with Xylotol in the first 3 ingredients-- it promotes saliva which makes gum-chewing easier on your teeth); and she genuinely cared about my health, comfort, and happiness. She is sharp, relatable, and great at her job. Also, my mouth feels super. 5) I had to get a filling re-done (Sigh... my jangly dentist from before did a hack job). She scheduled me for the next business day. Her assistant had amazing attention to detail-- my mouth feels wonderful. They also communicated with me and let me know exactly how I would feel the next day. (Sore jaw from the shot, tender gums, etc..) I experienced a little of it, but not much. My mouth feels great.
