I would say parking is a hassle, which it is, but I've been through much worse. I never get lucky enough to find street parking although most of it is metered and that's always annoying, but they have plenty of affordable parking lots so definitely just pay up. We didn't spend more than $5 for parking so for a beach day that is totally worth it. There are lots of shops and restaurants to visit while you are in the area. I definitely recommend walking along the beach cliffside. There is a paved trailed and the view is gorgeous. To me, it's just as pretty as Hawaii! We chose to eat at Urth Cafe during our most recent visit but the other restaurants I have visited have also been very pleasent. They have good quality food and the prices are expensive but definitely affordable for an ocean view. I would recommend to arrive early. Maybe the crowds wont be as bad plus you need to plan for traffic when you leave Laguna Beach. We were caught in a traffic jam when we left in the afternoon and it seemed like it was backed up the entire day. But like I said, I have been through much worse and Laguna Beach is still always worth the visit. Will be back soon!

I've put in a second request for a tour for two people on the date I requested, and so far no one has responded, so this one may also be canceled. At least two Viator representatives have called and sent email messages to try to get my tour confirmed, but they've not gotten a response. I also sent a message to the tour company asking that they respond to my pending tour request, but no response. I have given this tour company one star for poor customer service.

It's so exciting to finally have a food tour in Orange County--and this one truly exceeded expectations. Our guide Ben is the best in the business. Not only is he a chef, but his knowledge of food, local history, and Laguna Beach's art scene made the entire experience memorable. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he really elevated the tour. The walk through Heisler Park to The Royal Hawaiian, with its gorgeous ocean views, was the perfect lead-in to the restaurant and could not have been timed more perfectly. The food stops were outstanding and offered a wonderful variety: - Carnitas taco with slow-roasted pork that was full of flavor. - White Mushroom Pizza with garlic aioli, roasted mushrooms, spinach, and thyme. One of the best slices I've had! - This was the highlight of the tour and my personal favorite. The Hawaiian BBQ Pork Ribs with homemade coleslaw and pineapple were heavenly and served as the main entrée. Paired with their signature Chief Lapu Lapu cocktail--light and tropical--it was perfection. The ambience and vibe of the restaurant added so much to the experience. - sandwich packed with Italian meats, cheeses, and sun-dried tomatoes. Absolutely delicious. - Ended on a sweet note with Chocolate Sea Salt Truffle and Smoke on the Water gelato, both incredibly rich and unique. This is hands-down one of the best food tours I've ever experienced. Highly recommend it to locals and visitors alike--come hungry and ready for a fun, flavorful adventure!
