The school is a horrible place to be. I hated every minute of it. At the end of my e8th grade year I had to go on Independent study because it was so over whelming. The kids who go are very rude and not given proper interventions. I was a great student. All A's every year, I took high school classes in my 8th grade year. So much I have done to be perfect yet the school was still horrible to me. I never got in trouble or got a lunch intervention in anyway but during my 8th grade year we had the Grad Night field trip to universal studios. I got in trouble right before that for telling the truth about something that happened. I was the only one who got in trouble as well. I had to get taken out of my leadership class, get all my classes switched, I got suspended, and my field trip taken away that I payed $120 for while the others girls still got to go. This is a horrible place to be. In my 6th grade year I had to get a pedo teacher fired and sent to prison after 12 years of harassing little girl, me being one of them. The school handles nothing and never listens to their students. There have been countless times where teachers or subs have been upright disrespectful and rude to student saying things like "you should go k*ll yourself." This school offered me nothing but insecurity and depression. Every year I have dreaded going back. Do not put your kids through the things I had to go through.

I am still not happy with the drama and the lack of communication between both companies, due to the extra bill and honestly the BS excuse to justify charging our card. Evidently I never did, so. Here it is. I booked a cabin for thanksgiving 2015 (through hotels.com). We showed up early on Thursday the 26th and where so happy that they let us check in early. In full disclosure we showed up at 10am and our check-in was not until 2pm. I was freaking out since the place seemed abandoned. My husband kept telling me to relax, its early. It was such an amazing experience and truly was perfect. It was snowing , the place was empty except for 2 other families. We arrived with our 2 bulldogs who we walked around EVERYWHERE!!!!! See pictures Fast forward to Dec 9th. I receive an email from Nickie telling me that she is going to charge my credit card an extra 156 for pretty much destroying the room and the icing on the cake is when she states "we don't allow dogs" Really ?? It wasnt an issue to have dogs when i booked theough hotela.com and i always make sure that the place is pet friendly. It wasnt an issue when nickie finally greeted me and checked me and my famliy in. One of my bulldogs was with with me when i filled out the papetwork. It wasnt an issue when the maitence guy showed us to our cottage and helped walk one of the dogs in. BUT IT WAS AN ISSUE ONCE WE CHECKED OUT and she took the liberty to charge my credit card and send me an email telling me btw..... Really ??? She charged me more than it cost to book the room! This was definitely surreal. Add injury to insult they had the audacity to inform hotels.com that I cancelled. So I was still charged for a late cancelation and have now opened a case with hotels.com since I want to receive my credit that was removed when "SOMEONE" from this place told them that I had cancelled directly with them. I can't start to describe how frustrated and upset I am. Shame on this place for lying & over charging me. My 1 night stay turned into a $400 ordeal. I would suggest booking elsewhere!! My biggest disappointment is that I always travel with my dogs and I have NEVER, EVER been so insulted as I was with this email. I didn't contest it. Red wine was spilled on the walls and a bath towel, wash cloth, bath mat, curtain panel, and throw rug. Some items were unsalvageable due to fire and soot damage and/or wine stains. Also, something was burned on the fireplace shovel and could not be scraped off and saved. Please find the breakdown of our fees below to clean and/or replace the items that you damaged during your stay. Our staff spent over 2 hours cleaning this cottage that commonly takes 45 minutes to clean. As a result, we were forced to charge your card with the following breakdown of fees/damages. Many kids ditch class and just stand in hallways making out. The roof and walls are falling apart there is hardly working air and heating in this school. During flu season when many children are sick they refuse to turn on the heat. The buses are packed always packed with kids and many do not move so more people can sit with them. The food is not very great and there are hardly any places for kids to sit for lunch. Womens feminine product machines are always empty. This school has had many disturbing male teachers over the years. I would suggest just homeschooling your kid unless you want them to be groomed by held back students over 18, have nasty rumors spread about them, or have their private photos sent to every student.

This did not happen. My daughter said the other school "ate all the food" and her school was left with undercooked rice, slivers of french toast, no juice for their table, and were told by Koda to fetch their own water. These other schools were able to get seconds whereas her school was denied this same privilege. There wasn't enough silverware, cups were wet leaving kids wondering if they used cups or wet from being freshly washed. A counselor told them "smell it, if it doesn't stink you can use it." In addition, male camp counselors frequently cut the line in front of the kids, ensuring that THEY ate before the children did. My child also stated that the previous school left a huge mess on their tables in which they had to clean up. I didn't pay hundreds of dollars for my child to go hungry during blistering conditions. In speaking with multiple chaperones that I am friends with, they all spoke the same thing: that food was awful and lacking. Frankly speaking, what kind of program are you running where safety standards aren't met, food isn't prepared properly, counselors are putting themselves first before the children, and children are left starting their day hungry? How could so many things go wrong with a well-established camp program that has been in business for many years? Is this the standard you wish to uphold?
