I just got back from Lake Country Customs and they did a great job of installing a front and rear video camera on my car! Jeff was the technician who did the install and he did an absolutely fantastic job. The front camera sits just to the right of my rear view mirror and the wire runs into the ceiling and then dissapears. He snaked the cord around somehow so it plugs into a hidden power outlet without any wires in site. Then he also ran a wire through the ceiling of the car and to a rear video camera that sits at the top of the rear window. Everything works, is easy to use and looks fantastic with the wires very well hidden. I will be going back for all my auto needs. read more

Rude employees and never on time. I use them for my ignition interlock and they show up late to work and get upset when questions are asked.

Horrible service! My wife decided to buy a remote starter for my truck for Xmas. She stopped in and inquired about options. They showed her two different systems: one with a key fob and one that worked via an app on your phone. She opted for the phone system. They neglected to tell her about the $150 a year service plan that you need to subscribe to in order for the system to work. When I called the store and asked them questions, they were very rude. I made an appointment to have the system uninstalled and the staff was even ruder in person. I would never recommend this place! read more

I won my car remote starter by bidding on it at a fundraiser for the Wounded Warriors so right off the bat I was happy that this was a company that supported such a good cause. I can only say good things about my experience with Lake Country Customs. I spoke with the owner to set up the appt and ask a few questions and he was pleasant, answered my questions, and I was able to come in on the day & time that I wanted as they had just expanded their hours. It was done in just a few hours and when I came to pick it up the owner spent a good deal of time talking with me and my husband, and explainning how it worked. I wanted to wait a while to do a review so that I could put it to use first and see how well it worked. I can tell you that with the cold weather we've already been having, I use it all the time and I love it! Works like a charm every time and I can't believe how good the range is even though I didn't get the most expensive one. In fact, it was much less expensive than the dealer installed one my husband had previously put on his car (about half the price!), and the range on his isn't as good either. I would absolutely recommend them and would go back myself in the future. read more

I would NEVER recommend Lake Country Customs to anyone all because of THE OWNER!!! I have never had such a HORRIBLE customer service experience in my life, ESPECIALLY WITH AN OWNER until taking my car here. Once you pay them you are worth NOTHING- now I say "them" in terms of the owner.. I also came into contact with a mechanic named Matt there who was very kind..without Matt this business clearly wouldn't run- the owner should just leave the business to Matt.. I had questions the first time I called about directions and the owner completely talked to me like I was an idiot. I then had a problem with something installed in my car from Lake Country Customs, so I called again and the owner wanted NOTHING to do with speaking to me respectfully, or even as a customer in general. He even told me "LISTEN" as I got upset with how he was speaking with me. Lastly, the owner even told me " go speak with the BBB" when I threatened to do so which shows he could care less about his reputation ... I now have taken my car to another auto body shop and couldn't be any happier! The owner should know to treat all customers equal and with respect- that is how you keep your business running! read more
