Ordered a panoramic xray with out getting pre authorization even though I had one done the year before. After the xray expressed great concern with the blockage in my sinus. I was able to get an emergency appointment with an ENT doctor at Summit. he looked at the xray pictures i took with my phone and laughed. "I really dislike when inexperienced dentist do this! This is common in 25% of population and poses no threat what so ever." I called Delafield dentist immediately after my appointment to tell them of the doctors opinion. It was like deaf ears! Dental insurance would not cover the xray. Said it was a medical claim. Medical would not cover the $275.00 saying it was unauthorized and/or not pre-authorized. After 18 months of this with them, they sent me to collections. I have shared all the details with two of the accounts receivable team. Both were sympathetic to what happened and neither felt I should have to incur this cost. On top of that...they wanted me to book a deep cleaning for 2 teeth. I mad an appointment for it and my follow up for 6 months. Two weeks before the deep cleaning appointment I had to cancel it due to overseas travel. I received a voicemail that they would cancel it and my next scheduled cleaning. I was told for legal reasons they could not clean my teeth before the I had the deep cleaning! I called when I got back. Obviously my cleaning appointment was gone, i needed to wait another 4 months past my scheduled cleaning to get a new appointment. Then was told they WILL NOT schedule it until after the 2 tooth deep cleaning was completed. I found a new dentist! What a shame to treat a client like that. For this reason I can not recommend this dentist and practice to anyone.

I would strongly urge any future patients to avoid this procedure. It was an extremely painful and long recovery that they do not prepare you for. The staff was dismissive. Instructions were confusing, and every staff member told me conflicting instructions. I still have discomfort, and I never had any pain before. Dr. Charles Stoianovici seemed qualified and capable, but very arrogant and dismissive to my concerns. Our insurance did not cover any of the charges and it was very expensive. I expect better quality care.

He felt the root canal would have a 50/50 chance of success and the implant would be the best option . Unknowingly to me, i had to set up another appointment to see the periodontist in the same office. They couldn't be seen on the same day, The periodontist had a different opinion. The root canal would have a 10% success rate and the implant was the only way to go. Neither the endodontist or periodontist gave any insight as to what was involved with either procedure. That information was left up to the treatment coordinator who I would see on my third visit. After I left my third visit, I had further questions as many were left unanswered. i called and left several messages and also sent an email, asking if someone could call me, Finally after 5 days, I called again and sternly asked to talk to someone to answer my questions, which, finally then got answered. After 6 days the treatment coordinator finally returned my call. The communication with each other and the patient are poor at best. No records on the conversations I had with them were kept in my medical records. I requested my records and images they took of my tooth be sent to me. They person i talked to couldn't locate them and asked for some time to search for them. I never recieved a call back . After 2 days I called back and talked to someone else who found them right away but I was told they needed a release form filled out so i could get my records, which i was never told about. Once filled out they emailed me my records and part of my images. I had to make a fourth trip to their office to get my images on a CD. I was also told, they wouldn't send my new periodontist my records so i had to forward them.. Lastly, I am retired, on a limited incomeand my insurance doesn't cover this type of work on my teeth. They charged my $402.00 for the intial consultation, which was out of pocket. The offered no discounts and wouldn't refund a portion of their fee. I am sure this covered the office visit and x-rays, but in comparison to other who do this smae kind of work, their costs are excessive. If you would see their office, you know why they charge wat they do. I went to another periopontist and they charged me nothing for my original consultation. In this consultation, they talked to me about both options and, in the end, were alot less expensive for the same work.

She was doing her job but wasn't friendly at all. The doctor came in all was fine up until the procedure started. No one was saying a word about what they were going to do next. I felt like an animal with them grabbing at me and not saying anything. The main thing that happened was during the numbing process I felt a needle where it wasn't supposed to be. I'm not sure if it clipped on me or a nerve was shocked in some way. I brought this up to the doctor and he kept saying I wasn't listening to him. And that I needed to stop crying, the assistant also was saying this to me. All I wanted to know is if he poked me there and how long til I can feel my chin and lower lip again. This question wasn't answered. This whole situation was handled horribly by the staff. Along with that the assistant from earlier started talking to my driver and I was very friendly to her but not to me. It was a horrible experience.

There are huge differences between healthcare practitioners who put patients needs and interests first, and those who do not. You can tell from the first phone call what their priorities are. This is a practice that genuinely cares about their patients. And I love that they are holistic, natural, female-owned, have female dentists, are OPEN and happy to share information about what to expect if you become a patient there, friendly, kind and empathetic on the phone. In my experience, if any medical practice rushes you off the phone or or if they're just cold and uninterested in you on the phone, they'll be cold and uninterested in you when you're a patient. This practice was wonderful. Very open about everything I needed to know, patiently answering all of my questions until I was comfortable choosing them as my new dentist, and even open about the products they use. I give this practice a 5 already and I think I'm going to want to give them a 10 after my appointment!!

I have actually only ever had 1 cavity in my 43 years of life. Took my Vezzetti office xrays and exam notes back to previous dentist for a full exam and guess what?! No cavities.
