I was told that it is what that guard is known to do, and nothing could be done. It was their most expensive guard, and that it was the best one. Nothing about icicles forming on them in the winter, that I had to go out and knock them down in the winter and rain running over them. I would not recommend anyone to use these or the company if they sell things like this and don't tell clients about these things. I paid a lot of money for this product and do not recommend it or the company. They will say anything to get a sale; the customer isn't important. Beware.

While the windows were being installed I raised concerns after hearing workers be unsure of their measurements but they want ahead anyway. Less than a year later the $2000 window has cracked due to be forced too tight in to the frame and Bobs offers no warranty or consumer protection due to improper installation.
