When they closed the pool they didn't empty the water and blamed us that the heater needed to be replaced and so we ordered a new one. They said it was due to our chemicals, which were always balanced. They installed the new heater and cut the liner which caused a leak. They told us they didn't do it. They didn't have time to fix it as their son got hurt. The pool wasn't leaking before the large cut in the liner where they installed the liner. They decided to come out to repair the liner. It didn't work. It was a bunch of blue goop brushed on. Again, they told us it was our problem and the people that installed the pool. I had a pool leak rest of the summer. I didn't pay the second half of the heater as my pool was leaking. They refused to fix it. I had two companies out here to look at the damage. This leak was not due to the original installation. It was from the install of the new heater where the tear was and the repair didn't work. It was an obvious slice where they installed the heater. Also when these companies came and looked at the old heater and they could tell the water wasn't emptied out of the heater when they closed the pool. Communication is horrible, they don't respond. The one gentleman who helps with chemicals is phenomenal, but other than that, the emails they sent me were mean. I paid for the other half of the heater as I had no choice. It was costly for me to continue fighting for a liner. Find another source if you can. They do not care about their customers and they take no responsibility for their work. They only have time for their in ground customers.

The day they came to install there were 2 employees-2! They didn't have the equipment to dig the pool, thank goodness we had a guy doing work for us elsewhere that could help with the dig. I thought they would be billed for the work but we were! & not even offered a discount for this or the water we had to supply. Beware they are not straight shooters once the contract is signed!

Out of a few pool companies I had in mind I decided to rely on Patio Pleasures because they were local and had good reviews. I'm glad I did. To get familiarized with managing a pool we scheduled a pool opening and training session so that we could get some experience. When the appointment rolled around the person they sent completely answered any questions I had. At the same time he did not do any of the product pushing that I expected to occur. Instead the treatment I got was exceedingly fair, with him even lowering the cost of the service for things he didn't have to do since we had managed it beforehand. All in all, an excellent experience. The same could be said for my experience in the store itself. The employees there were more than willing to answer my novice pool owner questions and made reasonable recommendations. I was also pleased to discover that they offered free water tests which let you know what needs to go into the water to balance the levels. I'm not sure if that's universal to stores in the pool industry but it's definitely nice to have here.

Horrible experience so far. I will expand at a later date if not rectified by this weekend. Hot…read moretub has been in since Sept 15 and it still as of October 7 will not heat up higher than 78. After taking my money, a reputable company would see this problem as a priority, I get a multitude of recorded messages, of course over the weekend. My next recourse is to call Hot Springs and take a trip to court house. As of now I have a big expensive blob in my yard. Water is getting rancid and they keep pointing the finger at the electrician who they have told me numerous times that "they don't work with electricians". Well, maybe they should start. Of course they don't, that way they can point the finger at them. Apparently, they just don't care because after looking at the reviews, they haven't changed a thing. They will be out of business soon. UPDATE: Brandon, Oscar and Sam in service are awesome. I feel like they actually care to orovide good service and take pride in their work. If it weren't for them and their efforts the spa would still not be working. I would give them each a five star rating. I keep hearing how they don't work with electricians but electrical work is a big part of this process and I just wonder how awesome Hansens would be if they had an electrician in service who could work with them. Imagine how much simpler this process would be.

Never told that there were different qualities in liners. Found out by coincidence and called them. Told them which one to order and when the installer started we found out it was never ordered. As pool was being installed they asked what color steps we wanted. What? Why wasn't that asked early on. Now we had to take an ugly grey because we didn't want to wait longer. Installer had to exchange the filter system because they sent the wrong one. Next came the railing. Wrong one was returned and no credit given but we decided to add one. Installer said he would get in touch with Hansens to get the right one. Upon his completion of the install he informed us that it was supposed to come in that day. It is now over a week later and Hansons called us to get details on which one to order. I have now spent over $65000 for a pool I can't use as there is no handrail and I am handicapped.
