Even the greens that aren't temp greens are still bumpy full of disease and half of it is dead. Driving range far net is broken so don't bother hitting any woods or driver unless you wanna hit people on tee box for hole 17. Used to be taken care of and enjoyable. Now it's just a waste of money. I'm sure mid summer the fairways will be brown and the greens will be looking like the salt flats in Utah. Per usual.

I have played hundreds of golf courses and some great resorts, I have never experienced this. I will not be back and will also not recommend. Nothing will change, so if you show up, I hope you have a better experience than I had.

They are a little domed which makes them fun! We played 3 times in one week and easily walked all 18 with push carts. The fairways are open and fairly safe but watch out for deer, babies and many birds and weather surprises. We made an early tee time due to obligations later in the day and were the only young guys here obviously. The Marshall has decided to follow us every hole besides the turn; the implicit bias is quite annoying no matter the reasoning to see him lurking every hole. I have never left a review on anything but this I had to since we spent valuable time and money deciding to come down here. Probably won't be back if we are considered such a problem.

Came out to play on a Saturday and I have to say it is a pretty nice course (at least the 11 holes…read morewe played). Got through front 9 in about 2.5 hours but really started to slow on last couple holes. We made the turn and it turned excruciatingly slow as it took us 45 minutes to play just 2 holes (10 & 11). Had we stayed, it likely would have been well over 3 hours to finish the back 9. There was a tournament in front of us and we saw the marshall at least 3 times but there was absolutely no impact on the pace of play. It was a complete waste of $93!!! Played Sunland the day before ($69 for 18 holes and cart) and much better experience. Not as nice of a course as Dungeness but at least pace of play was manageable and was still a pretty nice course. We had a drink and snack in the bar (I think it was called Stymies) and we enjoyed ourselves. The appetizers were very good (wings and steamers) and my only advice is get extra bread with steamers as the clam broth was very, very good. Cold beer, good drinks and good view of both UofW football game and Ryder Cup golf. Stymies would actually get a much higher rating from our group but since this is a review of Dungeness GC and Stymies, the golf experience really dragged it down. Regretted paying so much and only playing 11 holes but the pace was absolutely one of the worst I've ever experienced.
