Guarded only by an…read more"honor box" requesting $10 for your play, the entire golf course is actually situated on tidal lands. During winter high tides, most of this golf course is underwater. A true "sustainable" golf course, no pesticides or fertilizers are used. Newcastle it aint, but for $10, it can't be beat. The vistas out over the bay where the WIllapa River meets the Pacific Ocean simply cannot be beat. This is particularly great for a walking outing where dad can bring his clubs and mom can follow along with the baby stroller, as well as for beginners who can't see dumping $50 and up on green fees just to stub every other ball. Feel free to picnic after your round in the parking lot, or have lunch in the dining room of the Tokeland Hotel. Minus one star for the snake skin I saw along the way, otherwise, an unbeatable value and great family fun for a day.

We made an early tee time due to obligations later in the day and were the only young guys here obviously. The Marshall has decided to follow us every hole besides the turn; the implicit bias is quite annoying no matter the reasoning to see him lurking every hole. I have never left a review on anything but this I had to since we spent valuable time and money deciding to come down here. Probably won't be back if we are considered such a problem.

They also have bumper boats but we have never done them because it is never warm enough, in our opinion, to get wet from them. They have a little snack bar with decent pricing and portions. The arcade games here have a mix of newer and older as well as several different genres, they had plenty of pinball machines, and other fun games! The staff that was working that day was very friendly and informative about what they offer. They were kind with us and the other customers that were present. The space looks clean and well-taken care of. The bathroom was also clean and well-maintained. I definitely can't wait to come back to truly experience this place to the fullest in the future.
