This is the worst car wash I have ever gone to. Went today.. paid $18 for the best car wash.. no brushes used ahead of time except the windshield... car looks almost as bad as when I went in. If you are looking to get a soapy, rinse spot filled vehicle for $15, this is the spot! I am an old 36 year old man, I clearly know what a dryer being on is like. The dryer didn't turn on, no parting water on my windshield. My tires full of soap. I requested to just go back through for a rinse. Attendant kept saying "well you can do it again, but if it didn't get rinsed the first time probably won't again." Requested to still make that attempt and he repeated the same exact statement. I guess he wasn't ACTUALLY offering a run through. With that being said I have a useless gift card for sale since I enjoy getting my car washed and looking nice and not soapy and spotty. Had not used Lake Effect in quite some time do to previous bad experience. Thought I would give it another try. Never again!! The worker barely touched vehicle with a brush . I paid for the Ultimate wash half the brushes did not tough my car. Close your vents, it's a pot shop. Don't expect all of the equipment to work or to be told what's not working, even if you pay for it. For example, pay extra for the dryer, but the dryer is out of service, again. I finally gave up on this place because there are so many others that do such a superior job and I don't have to explain to my kids what the weed smell is. read more

Couldn't give a 0 star. Spent $15 for a car wash. Watched the truck in front of me get every inch sprayed/soaped/etc. For my turn, they barely sprayed and soaped and my car started moving within 30 seconds while the truck waited 4-5 minutes. Once out, my car was still wet and dirt still on the car. The dryers never turned on at the end. Don't waste your money. Absolute garbage. DO NOT USE THIS "Car Wash". It's so bad that it's not even listed in the Google search for Fenton car washes. The conveyor speed has been set to something excessive, maybe 60 or 70 ft/min. I got through the wash in a minute. It's so fast that the guys didn't have time to run the brush across the back of the car. It was so fast that the dwell time under the blowers was a joke. I paid $15 for the show time wash only to have my car still dirty on the rear end and no dry and shine as advertised due to that machine being broken. When I told the employee working, the only option he offered me was to run it through the wash again. I paid for the "dry and shine" and feel like this place is stealing from customer with false advertisement of what they are going to provide. Don't go there. This is the worst car wash I have ever been to. First I pay for the deluxe car was for $10.00 then I do an upgrade on the tires for $3.00 Then I tip the guys 2.00 for there work. This place is a rip off. I requested a basic $6 wash and they ended up deducting $19.95 from my checking account. Of course their touch screen was not printing receipts... so there was no way to see the charge before entering the wash. Oh... forget calling to try to reverse the incorrect charge. They keep promising that they are making improvements fro the lousy washes and finally it looks like something is happening. The absolute worst car wash ever experienced. My vehicle came out of the wash dirtier than when it went in. Most of the equipment in the wash wasn't even working. Everyday there is some issue. The wash is broken, the card reader is broken, one lane is down, no one showed up for work, one person showed up, they need to shut down the wash and reset , etc..... I paid $15 for a deluxe wash. It was supposed to come with a wax and the "dry and shine". You select your wash and pay using a machine and it doesn't give you a receipt. As I was going through the wash, I noticed the "dry and shine" pads never activated, so I know I didn't get what I paid for. I had no receipt, so I couldn't even go and complain to the people working. When I pulled over and looked at my car, it was still dirty and now had water spots on every window. The guy with the beard and septum nose piercing is a jerk. He has a bad attitude. I was shifting my car into neutral and for half a second it was in reverse and he shouts "NEUTRAAALLL!!!".
