Lake Eola Florist is a florist I would never recommend. My husband, family, and friends have always ordered from In Bloom or Colonial Florist with wonderful experiences. This year for Valentine's Day, my husband decided to try Lake Eola Florist -- and it turned into a huge disappointment. On Friday, February 13, 2026, my husband ordered a bouquet of tulips (my favorite flowers), a Valentine's Day balloon, and delivery. The flowers were delivered after 5pm while I was at my son's baseball game. When we got home, he brought them inside -- the tulips were already wilted (and while tulips naturally droop some, these were clearly struggling), and the balloon was half-flat. Saturday and Sunday, the flowers still did not look good. We refreshed the water and left them on the dining table while we were away in Daytona for the races. By Tuesday, February 17th -- just four days later -- multiple blooms had completely fallen off and the arrangement looked worse than ever. I called the florist and was told I would receive a follow-up call or text. Two hours later, I received a text stating that "vase life is 5-7 days." However, today was only day four -- and that's stretching it considering the late delivery and the poor condition upon arrival. I sent photos and explained everything. I was told that because the arrangement was delivered days ago, I could not receive a refund -- but if I brought in a vase to the shop, I could receive a complimentary bouquet of roses. I do not like roses -- which is exactly why my husband ordered tulips. At that point, I still did not know the total cost. After speaking with my husband, I learned he paid $110 for the flowers, balloon, and delivery. For that price, I expect an arrangement from a higher-end florist to last longer than four days -- especially when it did not arrive in good condition to begin with. Asking me to bring in my own vase to pick up roses (that I do not even like) is not an acceptable solution. Customers work hard for their money, just like florists work hard on their arrangements. Quality and customer service should match the price point. Unfortunately, this experience was frustrating and disappointing. I highly recommend In Bloom or Colonial Florist instead -- they consistently provide beautiful arrangements and stand behind their product to keep customers happy and returning. read more

I found this florist on instagram and completed my entire transaction via IG. It was a smooth and easy process. The arrangement itself was absolutely beautiful the chocolate covered strawberries were DELICIOUS. The price was fair and I am very satisfied with product I received. My only complaint is that the arrangement was delivered when I was not home and the strawberries were left uncovered. I told the delivery person it was okay to leave it at the door, but I was assured during my order that the box the arrangement was in came with a cover. If I knew there was no cover, I would have made sure to be home. Other than that, I am satisfied. read more

This shop is unfortunately not one to rely on for a special occasion. I had to call my credit card company to have them process a charge back for a service I never received. read more

Beautiful flowers but the service is lacking. I ordered a large arrangement for a memorial service and it was such a headache. There are lots of other options for florists to choose from. I looked online to find an arrangement I liked and decided to place the order the following week, a few days before the service. When I went back to place the order online, all of the prices had risen by about $10. I know because I had taken screen shots so I'd remember which ones I liked. Can you tell I'm Type A personality? I emailed the shop and they said they'd honor the price I saw and to call them to place my order. I call. No answer. I call back later and place my order and text the lady some of the details like the message in the card and delivery address. I asked for an email receipt/confirmation as well. The next day I still hadn't gotten a confirmation so I emailed them and then received a confirmation. It stated the delivery date was the day I placed the order instead of the correct date, several days later. I call. No answer. I call back later. No answer. So then I email them to make sure the arrangement wasn't already delivered. At the end of the work day I called again and finally got the same lady who took my order. She said it hadn't been delivered and that the email confirmation was just written incorrectly. It doesn't do me a lot of good for them to confirm wrong information. The following morning I got an email back, in all caps, saying "YOU ARE RIGHT DELIVERY WILL BE ON OCT 20TH". No 'hello', 'thank you for contacting us', 'sorry for the confusion'. Nothin'. At this point I'm stressing out about these flowers being delivered on time and to the right location. At the service I look around and actually see my beautiful arrangement! The flowers are fresh and fragrant. I open the card to see how my message was written and..... they forgot to put my name on it. I had to go up to the family and tell them the flowers were from me. Just imagine I ordered a birthday flowers for the 5th of July & they delivered it on the 6th of July . So either I need to reschedule my friends birthday or you need to consider a better way to deliver the flowers on time. I have already emailed the shop & they talled me that the driver had a mechanical issue with his car yesterday & they cancelled all the deliveries yesterday because of the mechanical issue. Such a great attitude towards the customer. They also refused to get my money back . I think this attitude is refused & the owner should consider putting the satisfaction of the customer prior to the money benefit. Received their business card in a delivery made to me when my brother in law passed away. It seemed very appropriate at the time 18 months ago! RECENTLY- I ordered a dozen yellow roses to be delivered to my sister who was in the hospital. They arrived and were beautiful for 2 days...then died! There were other flowers in the room delivered that had no problem. When I called to complain, I spoke with "MARIA" who advised the alleged owners were in Venezuela and she would have to talk with them. Promised to get back to me, however now my phone number is blocked and I have not heard from anyone! This arrangement was not cheap, but I thought QUALITY would be there. Not only was that not the case, but they lied and pointed finger at the driver when I advised they were delivered without any water in the vase, then it was the flower vendor!!!
