My daughter sent me flowers for Mother's Day. I received them on Saturday afternoon. They started drooping by Monday and by Thursday the bouquet was completely gone. I called and was told that it was my daughter's fault because she ordered them for a holiday and they weren't able to source quality flowers during holidays. In addition to the "holiday" excuse they only feel enough confidence in their product to offer a 24 hour guarantee. I have asked my daughter to find another florist. The long and the short of it: phenomenal customer service, keen attention to detail and a gorgeous final product, delivered on short notice. Now, onto a more thorough review... I did quite a bit of research on florists in the "Greater Orlando Area" (my recipient was near UCF). I found a few within closer proximity, but they all had hit-or-miss reviews and several unhappy customers. Winter Springs Florist did not have many reviews, but they were all positive. I sent a cold email to Tami, with very specific requests for my arrangement, and mentioned I'd give the store a call to discuss my order. She responded promptly even though it was nearly the end of the day, and we got on the phone shortly afterwards. Tami provided quite a bit of insight into what the final product would look like, considerations to make, the varying species of rose. All proven to be authentic advice - because I actually own a flower company in NYC! She made excellent suggestions for the accents in an all-rose arrangement, to convey elegance and refinement (as opposed to a bouquet you'd give your grandmother...). She also provided me with photos and options for the vase, and did not hesitate to send me a photo of the arrangement the night before the delivery. They did not have any qualms about my short delivery time window on a Saturday morning, or the location, and the delivery charge was very reasonable. There were no hitches in the delivery either - the driver got through the gate just fine, found the suite and sorted it all out without needing to contact myself or the recipient. The arrangement turned out beautiful and I couldn't be more pleased. Winter Springs Florist is organized, professional and honest - led by a designer who is knowledgable, versatile and easy to communicate to. I have no doubt this floral boutique has a bright future ahead of it, and I'd recommend them without hesitation to anyone. I asked her to create an arrangement for my sister to celebrate her upcoming early retirement. Tami and I had a terrific conversation - she's very personable. I gave little direction (except that I like hydrangeas and prefer lavender roses over red roses) and said I would rely on her expertise. What she created far exceeded my expectation. Ordered from this place twice this year so far. Had them deliver an arrangement for my anniversary in May and a center piece for thanksgiving dinner at the house. The anniversary flowers made a big impression with the wife's co-workers :-) wife loved them too. I didn't get to see them myself but I did get the brownie points. For the thanksgiving arrangement.
