At time of pick up the team was helpful to put the flowers in water buckets since I was going to be out in about for a bit and didn't want the flowers to wilt. I went to buy some flowers for my graduation garland and ended up with a rose and carnation bunch. I was surprised at how reasonable pricing is considering the quality of the flowers and quantity! I recently had a very disappointing experience with this flower shop. I purchased a bouquet of roses, and by the very next day, they were already covered in mold. These were supposed to be fresh flowers, so this was completely unacceptable. What made the situation worse was the way the shop handled it. Instead of taking responsibility or offering a reasonable solution, they tried to blame us for the condition of the roses. The flowers were handled properly on our end, and there's no excuse for them to have spoiled so quickly. Customer service is just as important as product quality, and unfortunately, this shop failed on both. I've been shopping at Orlando Flower Market for all my fresh floral needs for years. They are a wholesale flower market located in the SoDo warehouse district, but many people don't know that they are also open to the general public and you don't have to be a florist to shop here. They have a large cooler that's always stocked with tons of great floral varieties and unique items you definitely won't find in a grocery store. They also have a small selection of dried & preserved products like fan palms, pampas, lunaria, and more. It's easy to get carried away, so I have to control myself whenever I visit because I want to buy everything lol. My oldest daughter for married in 2021 and we came to their location to view flowers, not only do they sell flowers but they also make the arrangements which was great for us. Making this a one stop shop for wedding flower needs. My oldest daughter mentioned what she had in mind and right away the employee gave us a quote and ideas of how it would turn out. I am a regular customer who just came in to get some flowers to make a nice arrangement for my home and not a bulk order. I picked out the "main" flowers I wanted for my arrangement and wanted some advice as to adding something white and fillers and if the quantity I picked was suitable for the size of my vase. The guy was completely dismissive and said "we don't actually design arrangements" and said with what I picked "you wouldn't add anything anyways" and walked off. I'm no expert but since when does a balanced arrangement not include filler? I wasn't wasn't asking him to design my whole arrangement, just asked what I thought was pretty basic advice. Also couldn't see any prices posted anywhere and ended up spending way more than I expected for an everyday arrangement. For spending over $120 you would think he could have spent 2 minutes answering my questions. I also thought their roses would have been florist quality with larger blooms but they aren't any bigger or better than the ones at Publix. I drove from the Indialantic area (approximately an hour away) and it was with the drive. I made the bouquets for a bridal party (11 bridesmaids including a junior bridesmaid), I feel so bad, I am having a hard time recalling the woman's name who helped me (her name starts with a "P"). I told her how many bridesmaids there were and she told me what I needed to get. I showed her the bridesmaid dress color and she quickly recommended colors that complemented the dress perfectly. I used this company for my wedding flowers in the past and they did a great job- but this was super disappointing and a waste of money. Emailed the company 3 days ago without a response. My mom and I decided to handle the flower arrangements for my sister's bridal shower, and didn't really know where to start. We knew we didn't want to buy our flowers from Costco or Publix, and preferred to work with someone who would be able to provide recommendations since we were really just working off a few Pinterest ideas. She was AMAZING. She helped guide us through what might look best together, and provided recommendations left and right. We ended up buying a few varieties to take home and experiment with, and I sent in an email the next day to place an order for pickup. It was completely seamless, and when I showed up on Saturday morning the following week to pickup, everything was already packaged and ready to go for me. I've placed a total of three orders with Orlando Flower Market. 1, in April of 2021 for hydrangeas. And 2 orders (for a wedding) in March of 2022. 1 order ( a 50ct rose order) was picked up as scheduled-- no problem. I had scheduled a pickup on a Sunday for rose petals (for the flower girls) and when I got to the business THAT is when I discovered they are closed on Sundays. They allowed me to book for Sunday, pay for it, confirmed the purchase, everything. I called and left a message, because obviously I wanted to be refunded. Instead, I never received a callback and was emailed that my order was marked as "picked up". This was honestly SO disappointing because I had a high opinion of this business and recommended them to others. Maria was so very helpful when I called her to inquire about flowers for my son's rehearsal dinner. She told me to come on Wednesday because they would receive a large shipment on that day and because the flowers needed two days to open to their best. She told me to ask for her. My (now) husband and I looked everywhere for a florist who could work with our small budget for our wedding reception and were unable to find someone who was determined to work with our budget, until we found Jason and his team. Upon driving up to the location, it seemed a little odd as it is in a warehouse complex. Once going inside, the warehouse atmosphere was definitely still odd; however, after walking into the giant refrigerator, I fell in love. My husband and I wanted blush pink roses to go with our rustic theme and we were absolutely heartbroken to see there were none in the refrigerator. At that point we still had a few weeks to go and we asked Jason if they received different flowers often. Jason immediately jumped at the chance to help us and explained he would specifically reach out to their buyer to ensure we would have blush roses for our big day. The pricing was incredible: each stem was $1 at the time we bought them, however market pricing does fluctuate. We ended up buying several hydrangeas, 75 roses, and several bunches of baby's breath. We have since moved about 45 minutes away to Clermont and I still stop by every couple of weeks to pick up a few flowers in stock for our home. read more

I have been going to the Orlando Flower Market for quite a while now. Let me tell you, this is supposed to be a wholesale florist open to the public. For Valentines Day I wanted to surprise my mom with a beautiful arrangement. From the moment I walked in, I was ignored and looked at like I didn't belong there. Not a single worker gave me their time of day. I reached out to about four different associates who all told me that if I wanted cheap flowers to look elsewhere. I never wanted cheap flowers, I wanted to simply know the prices of each flower in order to purchase! I selected many flowers to purchase for different family members, and this woman who always works there, told me I wouldn't be able to afford all of that, and that it would cost $65 to get a bouquet. Excuse me? What gives her the right to judge my finances? I have an account there and have been going for YEARS. What's worse is they all pointed me towards bringing my flowers to their "floral designer." He was completely unbothered and laughed in my face when I started asking him questions about making a bouquet. One minute he has the flowers I want. Next minute he doesn't. One minute the flowers are fresh. The next, they're opened and old. When I questioned the obvious poor quality of the flowers he chose for me, he swore it was opened that same day, and told me plain and simple that if I didn't stop asking questions, get out of his way, and allow him to make the bouquet, and pay before he made it, then I could look elsewhere. Unfortunately I was in a rush to get home so I left all of the other flowers and paid for the bouquet. When I grabbed the bouquet to leave, I couldn't tell how terrible it looked because he wrapped it in brown paper. When I got home with the flowers, I was really mad. I couldn't even arrange them in a bouquet for my mother in a vase because all the flowers were falling apart, and were cut so chopped up and uneven that they would not sit in a vase properly. Ultimately, he sold me a bouquet that I knew was made of old flowers, already withered, and at a higher rate to pocket the profit. I cannot believe that someone could be so greedy for money that they take $65 for garbage flowers and wrap it up to hide their greed. I will never shop there again. If you are looking to shop there, go somewhere else. Try going to Publix. It's cheaper, their flowers are fresh, and you can do a better job putting it together yourself. Sometimes great ideas just happen, and you have to act on them fast. Yesterday morning I thought "a flower sale would be a nice fundraiser event at Valentine's Day". One quick Yelp search later and I found myself and Florida Flowers and Orchids. Be warned, this is an industrial area and there didn't seem to be any signage outside the business that indicated there were flowers (and not serial killers) inside. But I put my faith in Yelp and ventured in. Jason at the front desk greeted us and showed us to the walk-in cooler where they keep the fresh flowers. They had a good variety of flowers and it was nice to know how long ago they were picked and how long they should stay fresh. I bought some hydrangeas and my co-worker picked up the most fragrant lilies ever. We asked about roses for our fundraiser and were told that we need to place our order next month (December) to make sure we get enough for Valentines Day. Lucky thing we stopped in when we did! I also saw on another review that they offer flower arranging classes. I asked when the next one would be and he took my e-mail and said he would send me the info when they have it scheduled. I was searching for a local flower warehouse in Orlando as I'm so used to them back home in Miami. My friend finally found Florida Flowers & Orchids online and gave them a call. Rob was able to provide us the information we were looking for and confirm they're open to the public. One Saturday morning we drove across town to check it out and it was a flower paradise. They have a very large refrigerated room with buckets upon bucket of different flower selections. They even had my favorite, Hydrangeas! I thought I would never find those and there it was! I also took note they have a different selection of flowers outside of the refrigerated section.. perhaps for fake flower arrangements? I didn't go inspect it. However, they do provide the service of making professional flower arrangements. One more thing they have is ORCHIDS! Rob will be able to give you more of an insight on them and where they come from (locally) along with price ranges. Being a new event planner, I am thankful to have found this flower warehouse. A year ago I couldn't find a flower wholesaler on Google but decided to try again for my birthday party. I found this one right away and emailed one of the owners to make sure it was open to the public. Rob wrote back nearly immediately and let me know they had many flowers and I could come by any time. This shop is in an industrial area of Orlando, right by the bread factory and near the SODO district. However, it didn't give me a seedy vibe at all, probably because it was during the day. We met Rob and he directed my friend and me to the giant flower fridge. He had many flowers available and from the sounds of it, he could special order just about anything. Their cost is very reasonable! We walked away with two armloads of flowers for less than $40. This is certainly less expensive than the bouquets in Target or Publix. I strongly recommend checking this place out if you're having a party...from birthdays to baby showers as well as holiday arrangements. My husband has some experience working in a florist shop, but with the beauty of the flowers, they came together perfectly. The arrangements lasted for nearly 2 weeks! I also purchased some lovely flowers for a baby shower that I hosted--providing an expensive looking touch with minimal cost. We just placed another order for my sister's wedding.
