I had a book to return and found the electronic returns slot easy to use with instructions clearly communicated on the screen above the returns slot/conveyer belt. Which door(s) to use on entrance/exit were also clearly marked. Different sections in the library were labeled with signage. In addition to sections for books, DVDs, audio books, and magazines, there were computer work stations, study room(s)/space(s), and tables with chairs open for use. I looked over some of the books in the non-fiction and biographies sections, opting for a biography on John Muir. On my way towards check out, I found some information about the United States of America naturalization process. I thought that was cool. It also got me thinking about how one would go about learning both about the naturalization process and the history to be tested on for a naturalization test if moving internationally. While I did not get something this time, perhaps a book on the naturalization process logistics would be interesting, generally speaking. Still helpful to have informational flyers/pamphlets with some introductory/resource information available/accessible. Self check out and check out with a librarian stations were located closer to the entrance/exit in the standard KCLS computer set up. The desk/counter the self check out computers were located on was in the theme of a large slab of wood for the counter. Overall enjoyed the feel/ambiance of the library as well as the offerings.

That is totally normal, to come into contact with germs EVERY day. That's how you build up your immune system. Not only does they chemicals they spray onto the keyboard and earphones cause cancer, it deprives humans of coming into contact with GERMS, which is VITAL to build up your immune system.

Tall trees between the parking strips provided shade for the parked vehicles. The entry/exit way of the building was straightforward to navigate and sections in the library were well marked. I was particularly impressed with the non-fiction offerings in the movies section. They were organized by subject with names on movie jacket bindings easy to read. Approximate run times for the titles I checked were not covered by library barcodes. As run time did factor in in to my selection today, I appreciated the run times were not covered. Check-out went smoothly.

There are also plenty of seating for people like me who just want to utilize the quiet space for studying. Big windows that should allow the sunshine come in when it's sunny. The wifi didn't work for my mobile or my laptop so I used my own mobile hotspot. You may hear children crying as children are in the library. There is a parking garage where you can park for free.

The building was clearly marked on the exterior of the building itself and signage along the street indicated its location for pedestrians/vehicles. The main entrance/exit was straightforward to find and navigate. Tabled work areas were located throughout the library and were busy/full away from the main entrance/central area. The non-fiction area was clearly labeled as was its shelving by topic. There was breadth and depth in offerings for the topic I was searching for. I opted for a book with a Middle East region focus and made my way to check out. The check out kiosk operated in a manner consistent with procedures I have encountered at other Sno-Isle Libraries. Inside it…read morelooks newer, clean, spacious, and there are plenty of different areas to study and read like the comfy chairs at the end by the fireplace or within the book cases. So peaceful. I was immediately greeted by the folks at the middle desk and as I studied I could hear them kindly checking in on others and helping out. They're friendly here, I definitely loved the vibe. I chose a large table in the fiction section where there was a magical looking Hobbit painting and giant windows on the sides. Even on a cloudy day these windows provide a lot of natural light and it's a motivating spot to sit and get work done. You can even sit at the window sill and really enjoy the light. I was happy to find my table had an outlet on the desk for convenience but there are also outlets laid out everywhere. A huge plus! The computer areas are also scattered throughout instead of it being a large area where you have to sit with everyone and I thought that was pretty cool. Another plus for the study room fully equipped! However, online it says they're currently not available but I'm looking forward to it opening back up!

This turned out to be very complicated-not straightforward at all. There was a young man working at the library who helped me. He was very patient and knowledgeable. A few rooms are available for reservations to host gatherings and meetings. The staff are friendly, responsive and helpful. The book selection is abundant and the space unparalleled! (Except maybe as compared to the Central Branch.) Overall, this is an excellent library and I wish it was closer to us!
