Additionally, there is not as much to do. There are some trails, although they were cutting plants and working on some. The main attraction was the lagoon near the road. The city was working on gates from the lagoon with painted crosswalks. Given the minimal traffic past downtime, walking on the side of the road is safe enough. It connects to the Lake Geneva lake trail that goes through the backyards of nice houses. Calling it a beach state park is a bit of a stretch. Across the road from the entrance lays about 2 feet of sandy beach. The campsite does have RV options.

The path has been preserved nicely by all the estate owners that live on the lake. The path is rugged in places made up of brick, wood, stones, boulders and slate. It's an enjoyable walk with plenty of breathtaking views and colorful inlets that change in the seasons!

There are 1-2 Lifeguards on duty, and while they're not hypervigilant, I did see one do the shore walk, looking for drowning kids or people in distress. There are bathrooms here, and a shower and foot shower outside the building to rinse off sand and sea muck. Not a bad way to spend your day, especially if you're looking to avoid a crowded beach.

We were docking the waverunner as per the staff instructions only to have it bump an object. There was a ding on the boat. Mind you it was a very narrow dock with no staff actually coming out to tow the waverunners in. Someone then came by and said it was our fault when it was their staff who directed traffic. I suspect the business uses this excuse to charge the customers for minor damage and keep the security deposits claiming they need to repair the waverunners. The waverunners by the way had other dings on it that were clearly not repaired. If other yelpers have had similar experiences, please file complaints accordingly so that others will not suffer a similar scam( " bait and switch ") while on a vacation.

The boat was fast and fun and we had a great time on lake Geneva. Alex was amazingly helpful and accommodating and out return of the boat was just as easy as leaving. Parking is a challenge though. It was hard to find and apparently very closely monitored so watch out for tickets! The apps make it easy to extend time as needed. They also have a Safari experience (we weren't able to make it to the drive through Safari due to ticket unavailability) but seems like a good place to see. They have boat tours as well and boats to rent (although pretty pricey). Overall would recommend!

Open 7 days a week, year round. Service - Good, from the shopping experience for my wife to the eating & drinking experience for my daughter and I. Price - Depends on what you buy, eat, or drink. The person who organized the trip got a call in June saying we had missed our appointment. This was a problem since they called at noon on a Sunday in June, when our rental was at 2 on a Saturday in July. Once we actually got there, everyone was attentive and quick. Our driver was very nice, pointed things out and answered questions. The boat itself seemed clean and well maintained. Although from the prior reviews (and admittedly, mine) - there appear to be some logistical issues, I would recommend the service - just make sure to get all proper confirmations both verbally and in writing.

When we go there they told us the pontoon we had booked was broken (they never contacted us either). They offered us a 10 person pontoon as a replacement. When I asked what the other 2 people should do, I was told they would have to find something else as they cannot get on the pontoon. I asked how long it could take to fix the 12 person pontoon, or if we could get jet skis for the other 2 people. The reply I got shocked me as she said "I have rented to people like you and it's not happening again"! You could imagine my surprise to this response. I asked what she meant and did not get a response as she got aggressive and agitated!
