    Complementary mini golf and shuffleboard.

Fabulous hotel and very affordable. The rooms are immaculately clean and the whole place smells good when you first walk in. Crooms have air conditioning and a dehumidifier which is a nice bonus. Extraordinarily pet friendly! They have a picnic area at the back of the building with complimentary poop bags. A wrap around playground for kids of every age keeps the little ones busy. Also has an indoor pool with water slide that is a lot of fun. they use some kind of salt water and chlorine system to keep the pool water crystal clean and I swear it made my skin super soft. If you are on a keto diet or diabetic their breakfast is amazing, even with the covid crazy. three different kinds of egg dishes, two different kinds of sausage, and cheese make for a hardy breakfast. They also have sugar-free jelly and syrup available.

Honestly, I've driven past the sign for the Lake House Hotel and without actually seeing it, I didn't really pay attention to it. It was only because of a quick trip before school started for my daughter, that we were looking for a place to "just sleep." Other reviews spoke about how this was a "clean" hotel and that was enough for me to give it a try. The price was much more reasonable than the "chain" hotels in the area. And the photos showed a pool and a slide. Something my 13 year old daughter really needs when we stay in a hotel. We spent two nights there and the first evening and the ENTIRE next day was spent in the pool and water slides. My daughter LOVED the place! We ended up not doing the other touristy things that we drove to the Lake of the Ozarks for. If you have young or early teen children, I think that you need to give this place a chance. They have shuffleboard, swings, a basketball hoop and other playground activities, the place is very well lighted and while we didn't bring our dogs, the hotel is pet friendly. And what was kind of cool was that the owners live at the hotel. They were always watering plants, doing laundry... And were just were involved. Unlike a lot of the place where they employ a person to just sit in the office and take money. The rooms have a small refrigerator, microwave and desk. The only oddity was that the toilet was in the room with the shower/tub and the sink was outside of that room. It's not a bad thing at all but just, different. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked well. There's no view but, of the parking lot. And if I was to give the place any negative mark, it would be that the cars are parked right next to the building, only a few feet away. It really didn't matter since we weren't in the room all that often. Honestly, I was completely surprised by the place. For all that the owners have done to the place to make it family friendly, you owe it to yourself to at least give it a look. I'm positive that when we come back, we'll end up back in that hotel. :)

    Indoor water slide!

We were in the area, buying a condo and this hotel was recommended to us by our realtor. The most important thing to our traveling teens is a pool. This indoor pool was awesome and they had so much fun on the water slide. The outdoor pool and slide looked like it would be fun in warm weather. Breakfast is included and was not a basic continental. It had plenty of options and everyone was happy. There is a putt-putt course, basketball court and large playground onsite. And lastly, the owners live in the hotel and are so attentive and friendly. Definitely would recommend to family and friends!!!

Don't trust the GPS location. It's Wrong! BUT it was well worth the phone call for directions. New name Lake House hotel. Awesome family owned place. Indoor and outdoor water slides for kids. Mini golf on site. Plenty to keep kids busy. Rooms were a good size and CLEAN. Breakfast was amazingly large. Will DEFINITELY be back!!

The outdoor pool and slide looked equally as fun (and clean) but it being Memorial Day weekend water is still a bit chilly.

Our two bedroom unit was quite spacious, very clean, and cozy. It allows a maximum of 6 guests. My eldest daughter and I didn't need the extra space, but we appreciate having our own room which was nice. Living room has a pull down murphy bed if you prefer to sleep in an open space. Kitchen was fully equipped with the essential kitchenware and liquid detergents. Bathroom conveniently had complimentary shampoo, body wash, hand soap, and lotion. Washer and dryer plus laundry powder detergent were in the unit which is a big plus in my book. Fireplace was present, but wasn't used. Small patio with table and chairs for relaxing and viewing of the beautiful lake. This may be our one and only visit at this resort since we don't live nearby. We added this stay as part of our Historic Route 66 road trip while in MO. I am grateful I got a chance to stay here. One more WM resort checked off my WM resort adventures list. Thank you for the warm and welcoming hospitality. Highly recommend for anyone who loves vacationing at the lake. Enjoy your WM stay!

Coming from a college town where tons of protocols are done, a couple things rubbed me the wrong way. But ultimately, I felt safe. You also have the pool to yourself almost all day everyday since a majority of the folks that stay here go out on the lake each day. The hotel sent up maintenance with a can of something and he sprayed the door. After he left the wasp came back. They moved us to another room. This balcony also had a wasp. The walls of the room are shockingly thin. There are a lot of children at tbe hotel and next door to us was a little boy, maybe 5, with his parents. They were very loud. We heard sounds, screams we should never hear in a $350+ room. Also there's problems with the air conditioning. It turns on or off and u can keep it at 67 degrees for the air or it switches to heat! By the grace of God, I found a spot and luggage all of my luggage up the hill by myself sweating all the way. Arrived in the lobby to be greeted with no air air-conditioning and a 45 minute wait in the lobby to check in. I have waited in more enjoyable lines in Disney and Silver Dollar City. The only positive part was getting to know other people in line as we all remarked at what a disaster the situation was. It was a bit of a trauma bond situation as we exchanged parking trauma, as well as our current predicament, waiting forever to get to the front of the check-in line. I finally got to the front of the line only to be told that my credit card on file could not be charged and I needed another credit card in order to get my room key. Deep breath. I really needed a change in latitude and a change in attitude right about then as well as a stiff margarita. I was advised by the front door clerk that a gentleman was going to take me to my room after the check-in process. This was a bit misleading because all the check-in clerk did was hand me off to another rep for Margaritaville that simply drew on a map instructions on how to get to my room. There are many buildings and very odd ways of getting places that are quite confusing. They had moved our welcome reception to the JB deck, which was a bit difficult to get to, but I was able to run into a very helpful employee that took pity on me as I loved my luggage even further to another destination. I was told the next morning the coffee line was an hour long and people didn't know which was worse their wait for the coffee in the morning or their weight in the lobby the day before with no air-conditioning. The rooms were quite nice. I did like the large beds and the living room. The convention food was also well done as well as the amenities, including the shopping in the bowling on property. Adding stuff would have alleviated many of the issues that I experienced at this property and I am positive that they would be able to turn around most of their issues by just hiring more employees.
