I'm not really sure why there are such low ratings here. I know it's a chain but you can find almost anything here if you are an animal lover. And if you aren't an animal lover......why are you here? I mean Barnes and nobles is a chain and it ain't Powell's books but it's still a book store!!!! Any needs for your pets you will find. Worst customer service I've ever had. Grooming department and manager were extremely hostile. I was running late to an accident on 94 and called at 10:04. (I drove from near Dtw airport) and had other appointments in port Huron- anyways I called and informed to get there by 10:15. I was in parking lot at 10:15 and got to the back of the store by 10:17. I called 2x and said j would try to get there on time but it got heated as she kept interrupting - like it was crazy rude!! I called a 3rd time to speak to a manager to report the grooming lady but she was not available? Carly the groomer - told me I sound have planned my day better - LOL - wow - a bit rude There is a lady in a blue shirt - name tag is covered - I had to ask if she was the manager and she was condescending. YES I AM HER EYES BULGING. I've never ever had this issue in any establishment. The manager - cosanndra said they wouldn't let me book a later time? Huh? I drove 11/2 hours and they would not accommodate a 12:30 opening? I don't get it!! Carly said they were double booked and triple booked - their website said there's many openings every single day! So basically they didn't want MY business because I was late. Don't waste your time here. It truly was like talking to people that had no receptors. What's funny but sad - Carly would have received a very generous Christmas tip for a helping me out. Happy Holidays! But take your fur baby elsewhere. Took my 21 lb terrier to the grooming salon for a bath and full haircut and the poor dog came back with pieces missing! He had a large piece of skin missing from his left rib cage where they gouged him with the clippers. His ears are just raggedly trimmed and they missed a few spots on his belly. Just a absolute hack job. Furthermore they quoted me 47 on the phone for the bath and full haircut and when I got inside it was $67. They categorized him as a Polish highland sheepdog! That means $20 more for for the bath and full haircut then a terrier. There are plenty of other groomers in the Port Huron area to choose from. I would pick any one of them over PetSmart. read more

I brought my sweet little Elwood to the salon and saying the girls here are amazing is an understatement. They were all so patient and kind, From the moment I walked through the door to the moment I left. I appreciate the wonderful job the girls did at removing the poo from Elwood's hair, I know he was a mess when I brought him in. Would definitely recommend this salon to anyone looking. I told the manager corsandra myself how wonderful her staff was and she should be proud. read more

I've been bringing my Great Dane here for grooming services for more than a year. He loves going there and is always pampered by the girls in the back. They are affordable and offer a military discount for all the motivated vets in the area. We prefer Juleana who always does a great job on my boy. Keep up the good work PetSmart!! read more

I just stop in here when the pooches bag of food runs low. Everything always seems clean and the cashiers are friendly enough. I'm always grateful to catch a sale because the healthy kibble we feed our two furry friends is a bit pricey. read more

Terrible customer service. All I came in for was rat food and 1 fish. I've been bored during this quarantine and have been cycling a fish tank for weeks. All i wanted was to finally see my fish in his new home. The manager there starting complaining and acting like i was a bad person because i wanted to buy a fish. She was being just plain nasty and rude and I wont shop there for fish anymore. This happened at about 3:15 4-2-20. This store has definitely lost my business. I will be going to real fish stores in the future that actually treat their customers like they want their business. read more

I think Pet Smart is a very good store & love their open Pet Grooming for people to be able to see how they groom because there are some very bad groomers that are not kind to animal's . But I am seeing & hearing more & more complaints about people coming in the store & not wearing masks , you have the right to protect other's in the store & your employee's if they won't please tell them to use curb side or they cannot enter. You must be more pro active in this because we are now at the highest level of COVID ever, I don't want anyone to get sick or die of the virus over a few stubborn people who won't wear masks. As a past owner of a business we would have kept the door locked , seen if someone had on a mask , ask if you could give them one. If they refused I would not have took the chance on us or our employee's to get it or our other customer's to get it & then get out it started at our business.
