LM farm was once upon a time a nice quaint place to pick up organic and raw foods; today Sunday May 24, 2026 it was anything but quaint. Expired havarti cheeses were being sold for 50% off with a expiration date of April 10,2026. Whole raw milk ( not fit for human consumption ) is selling for 16.99 - 21.99 a gallon; which is significantly more expensive than other raw milk sellers in lake/ Orange County. Meat prices are listed as $/lb; but all frozen meat beef, chicken lamb, duck, pork only comes in more than 1 pound packages.They sell more prepackaged foods in Plastic than glass or paper packaging, than they did in the past. They have 1 small bison, 2-Emu, 2-Bramaha cows, 1-llama(recently sheared), ducks, and chicken to look at and pet if you want to. Sadly it looks like end stage Capitalism is happening at Lake Meadow Farm too. They seem to be more interested in profits than they do in customer satisfaction and customer service. They carry lafermière yougurt at 5.99 a container while target charges $3.19, and a instant charges $3.49. On on a sidenote, they do have little placards along the walkway from the parking lot to the store where you could put your child's face on a picture and show them as being a cow or a farmer if you choose. in retrospect, they used to always be expenses but now they're just ridiculously expensive. I hope you enjoy this review and if Lake Meadows wants to continue in business and not go under, they may wanna look at investment brokers to invest in their farm so that they can sell off the property and then close it off for a profit. read more

This place is eggscellent! Great market with lots of eggs, cheese, meat, poultry prepared food and interesting gourmet type food. They have weekly specials so you can save money too! I loved seeing all the farm animals when you pull up. Goats, cows, lots of chickens, ducks, geese. The chicken coops are near the store entrance. The white chickens and brown color chickens appeared to be in different sides of the coop. They had lots of eggs so you know I had to go home and google if brown chickens lay brown eggs. Haha The market is currently being remodeled and they are expanding so they had some coolers emptied but assured me if I wanted could not find an item they probably had it in back. The staff was very friendly and asked me a few times if I needed help finding something. Probably because I was walking around gawking. They carry a lot of products that are local or free of additives. They also carry homemade items. Amish Farmer type of products. I bought baked beans with apple and ham. Sort of baked beans meets apple butter. I was torn between their heirloom balsamic tomatoes, tomato sauce and stewed tomatoes. Since they had produce 50 percent off I bought fresh okra to add to the stewed tomatoes. Some items are in the frozen case and others were just refrigerated. I had previously signed up for their weekly email specials because when anyone is looking for local meat or food, Lake Meadow is always mentioned. I traveled on 429 getting off at the West Road exit and the farm is just east of that. I am sure there is a toll free way to get there too. I got just a handful of items but I look forward to going back and doing some serious shopping. They had a dog under a tree that seemed to be guarding the ducks and was very close to the chicken coops. It was tied up and reminded me of 'Dawg' on the Foghorn Leghorn, one of my favorite cartoons. Lake Meadow Naturals is a local farm that sells groceries to the public. They also host a variety of family friendly events and farm tours throughout the year. Occasionally, there may be food trucks on site during the events. They have an "ice cream" stand, however, the open hours may be different from the regular farm store hours as I don't think that I've ever seen it open. Each week they provide different items on sale - some items are BOGO, some are buy 1 item get another item type free, some items are reduced price and others are on clearance. They also have a number of different meat box bundles, some bundles are standard where others may be tailored to a specific upcoming holiday such as the "4th of July Bundle". They carry a plethora of meats including chicken, duck, rabbit, salmon, beef, lamb, turkey and pork. Other items included but are not limited to dairy, eggs, butter, some vegetables, seasonings, olive oil, yogurt, snacks, etc. The meats are frozen and vacuum sealed. I recommend bringing a cooler to that you can keep your purchases cold for the drive home. It is a small farm tucked away in what feels like its own private little corner. The store is small, and the parking is unpaved and limited, however, it is simple to access and worth the visit. Entrance is on the back side of the store and the flow goes from back to front so that you exit towards the parking area. The staff is always friendly and ready to assist. read more

What a great local family owned farm and shop. Located in Ocoee, the place is close to home. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter loved seeing the animals that they have on property. The Italian ground sausage was great for spaghetti nights and we like the different bread options from sourdough to English muffins. There are so many cheese options and besties of meats. I really wanted to love this place but they don't let the chicken roam free. The chicken are in small cages packed in there so the eggs they sell are not pasture raised. I like it that they have big gallons of raw milk. The supermarket is good. You can feed the goats. They sell food for $6. read more

We have been going to Lake Meadow for years. We love their produce and eggs, and my son always loves to feed their goats. I stopped by the store on Friday (for our second trip in a week) and asked to speak with a manager about ordering specific type of cheese for my family for Easter. The person was very kind, and ended up giving me a business card and asking me to please email Debby with the request. I sent the email on Friday, and since I did not hear back, I followed-up with their Facebook Page today. The person who monitors the page responded with "showing up shows interest" and the telephone number for the store. I am both shocked and angry that this would be the response to a long time customer who has been "showing up" for years for this local business. read more

This week we got a crate of eggs, bogo beef sirloins, string cheese sticks, peppermint tea, blueberries and little whoopie pie treats for the littles. I can't believe that this place is still allowed to have animals and people treating it like a petting zoo! How can you go there and see the animals in deplorable conditions and think that any of that is acceptable? The people there still don't care enough about the animals, the cages are cramped and most sit in filth and feces, super skinny chained up dogs, zero enrichment for any of these poor creatures. The farm is five star but the quality of the products we purchased was not. The staff were super nice. The store is clean and well organized. We showed up looking for fresh farm eggs and some grass fed meat. The drive in is picturesque. The parking area was easy to find. We walked the path and went into the store. Everything looked so good. We bought figs, chicken, ground beef, blueberry maple breakfast sausages and eggs. The eggs were pale, not rich yellow and they tasted like the lowest quality eggs I've ever had. Wal-Mart basic Grade A eggs taste better. I was highly disappointed. The boneless chicken leg quarters and the breakfast sausages were not the best quality either. The figs were flavorless. I was shocked that we were disappointed based on the reviews. We expected quality that we have purchased at other farms. I've been eating hormone free, free range chicken and grass fed beef for a while. I thought this was going to be a great experience. Viewing the animals before we left was precious. They were all so well taken care of. They had chickens, ducks, goats, geese, alpacas, and more. This is a great place if you're looking for a large variety of different meats, fresh eggs, and lots of other grocery items at a bargain price. The shop is at the end of a one way in/out dirt road. I was surprised to see lots of different animals outside before going into the store. We saw a cow, chickens, pheasants, ducks, geese, goats, alpacas, and even a cute little cat and a big border collie just roaming the area. Outside the shop is a window for selling ice cream. When you walk into the store, it doesn't look like much, until you start looking around. When you walk in, check out the posted papers of their deals and BOGO items (see photo). They have 3 big cooler areas of many many different cuts of fresh meat, all for great prices. We were able to get BOGO whole milk mozzarella cheese, BOGO ghee (what!!!), a pound of amish butter, uncured all beef hot dogs, all for about $35. What a steal!! I can't believe BOGO ghee. This is definitely where we will come in the future of fresh produce and meats. This place is truly a gem, and it was just recommended to me yesterday for the first time surprisingly. Lake Meadows gives me a little glimpse of a farm when I'm feeling homesick. I'm also addicted to their eggs. The yolks are such a deep color compared to those at a grocery store. Their Farmers Blend also makes the best burgers. Only 4 stars because they are often out of sale items - even on the first day. Literally tucked away back a dirt road, this surprisingly spacious market with some food snacks and even ice cream is a real gem. There are live animals all around to look at and you know this is obviously local farm to your car for the most part. They have large selection of meats and you would expect at a stand alone butcher shop. (Think whole animal use) I did not think the meat was really at bargain prices but it's genuine quality. There definitely are deals to be found. I go for the fresh eggs and check the offerings there provided by Old Hearth Bread that they also carry. The staff is friendly and nice to all who follow the rules from interacting with animals, to safety procedures. I want to find a nice weekend day to go and spend some time looking that the animals and grabbing something to eat before shopping. read more

I get my animal therapy, but you can't touch or feed the animals, though okay the baby cow was begging to be petted...so I did. I recommend this place. read more

My family is so fortunate to have Lake eadow naturals just 15 minutes away. The quality of food that we consume has really stepped up since we discovered this place! I mainly go for the egg flats (60 eggs for $11!) and the BOGO meats. Whatever is on BOGO is what we eat that week... everything from chicken thighs and breasts to ground meats to cheeses and butter. That's definitely where the deal's at, and worth the drive from anywhere in Central Florida, especially when you compare the price pound for pound with organic meats from Publix or any other grocery store. Although they're not certified organic, you can tell the eggs and meats are better quality than anything you'd find at a standard chain store. If you're not there for the groceries, you must be there for the animals! There are goats, bunnies, sheep, alpaca, cows and chickens that you (and your little ones) can get up close and personal with. It's a great place to take the littles just to get them out of the house to hang out with the animals. It doesn't get much better than this for a free outing with the kiddos & they'll sleep great on the ride home. read more

Lake Meadow Naturals is taking social distancing seriously. They have baskets set out in a line about six feet apart outside of the store. This is where you stand and wait for your turn to enter the store. You enter on one side of the building and exit on the other. There is an employee who monitors customers exiting and only allows one person in for every person going out. The store is well stocked with humanely raised natural meats, cheeses, cage free eggs, fresh fruits, vegetables and much more. During my most recent visit I replenished my supply of Amish Butter ($5.95 lb) brown eggs (30@ $6.95) and Grass Fed Butter with Maldon Sea Salt Flakes. ($11.95 lb) Before or after grocery shopping you are welcome to respectfully stroll around the front section of the property and visit with some of the animals on the farm. read more

The staff is wonderful and truly care about what they do. The animals on the farm always seem content and well attended to. Ambiance is very homey. The eggs are a must-have and I really love their homemade ice cream from Sutton Farm. Sometimes they have frozen meals and I highly recommend them as well. Their chili is spicy and absolutely killer! I have seen Lake Meadow Naturals' eggs in Freshfield Farms, Clemon's Produce, and Winter Park Farmer's Market. Finally had the chance to buy groceries in Ocoee where their location is. The farm has sells meat, dairy products, produce, jams, sauces, pastas, and more. If you live far, call the store to double-check if they have a specific item you want. During this covid pandemic, the store recently posted safety measures for their customers to follow. I like that the farm store really went the extra effort to establish organized guidelines which shows how much they care about their community. read more

Great place! Went to an event here, second year in a row. Always enjoy meeting the farm owners. The shop had everything you'll ever need, and more! They have sales as well, for example, 3 dozen eggs for $10! They have some premade foods such a as meatloaf for those of you who want to eat clean but don't have the time to cook. Otherwise they have tons of different meats and cuts of meat as well as cheeses, sauces, vegetables etc. Friday and Saturday you can go on an Easter egg hunt and gather your own eggs. What a fun activity for the kids. They do not have the organic stamp on their farm yet, but I can tell you it's all organic. Check them out. It's not too far outside of town. Everyone should have a direct to consumer farm like Lake Meadow Naturals in their town. This farm and farm store is my go-to for meats, eggs, produce and family time on the weekends now that they've added a sweet little ice cream shop. A flat of 30 eggs is only $10, $8 for unwashed. I shop there with full confidence that the animals are cared for, hormone free and the best possible product to feed my family. We love pulling eggs from the hen house (pre-COVID.) They continue to expand their offerings - follow them on social media! We LOVE Lake Meadows Naturals and cannot say enough great things about what this local farm adds to the community. It's really a best kept "secret" even though many of the restaurants have partnered with this local farm. Please note: the owners live on the grounds as well and it's a small driveway in and out. Lake Meadow had the meat of many animals - chicken, duck, pig, cow, and byproducts of each as well. They also have readymade items such as bone broth, sausages, etc. They also sell a variety of cheese, have a small vegetable selection from their garden, and have 'country store' items like pickled items and homemade jams. You are paying more here for meat than you would at Publix, but you know the source and can see how it was raised. You're paying for quality, which I will gladly do each time. I love this locally owned, family farm. It's always wonderful to go and see all the farm animals and brings me back to my childhood. I mostly go to Lake Meadow Naturals for their retail store to purchase my eggs here since you can get cage-free eggs from their own chickens for a really good price. Of course, they have chicken eggs that you can purchase by the dozen, but I always purchase the 60-count box since we go through them quickly at my house. I like that they have a variety of sizes: medium, large, jumbo and Pullet eggs (smaller). They also regularly carry quail and duck eggs. They carry a number of pre-made items like egg salad and pimento cheese spread, which can be found in the dairy case. They stock numerous amounts of different types of cheese so you're bound to find something you like here. They sell many different types of meats and they are all in separate coolers so if you're looking for something in particular, just go to that cooler to find MANY different cuts. I have found their meats to be top quality and now buy most of my meats here! I have purchased amazing steaks here (sirloin, ribeye, t-bone, filet) and I like having the option to purchase them bone-in or boneless. Their chicken is so good and of course, they sell every part, or whole, skin on or skinless, etc. One of my favorite things is their pork chops. So thick and every time I make them they are incredible! They have a small product section where they sell things like collard greens and romaine lettuce. You can find tomatoes, lemons, avocados, garlic and onions as well. You can also find pickles, kimchi, and salad dressings. Honey, maple syrup, coconut sugar, molasses, jams and jellies. As I write this I continue to remember all the other things like heavy whipping cream, butter, duck tallow, lard, etc. They also have pre-made pizza crusts and novelty treats and peanut butter. If you follow their Facebook page, they have special events regularly. They have things like BBQ's or picnics. Speaking of picnics, if you want to purchase any of their pre-made foods there and you can wait to get home, they have picnic tables that are perfect for it. Lake Meadows naturals is a great farm to visit plus they have delicious food to buy. Their eggs are fresh from their own chickens, and their butter is the most delicious butter I've ever tasted. I haven't tried anything else but their on site store selection is extensive. I saw a lot of grass fed meat there and fresh berries. You can walk around and see farm animals, I did a quick walk because I was with a friend who needed to leave and go home but all in all it was a very enjoy table wya to shop and spend the afternoon. read more
