I brought my daughter in today to get our nails done. I just had mine painted with gel. she got tips. We were rushed to pick out our color, the paint is all over our actual fingers and under them and the shapes of the nails are terrible. Mine are completely uneven as far as shape and actual paint. They are blochy and unevenly painted, they are thick painted near the cuticle and the nail is wavy in shape. My daughters are uneven in shape on the tips and half of them are pointed in different directions as well as paint all over her fingers. I took her back inside to get the clumps underneath the nail shaved down some and she replied with, "you need to wash your hands". She took the cuticle cutters and cut underneath 2 of them. Water wouldn't have helped the disaster she is in left with. Very unsatisfied with our rushed visit. $90 to be unpleased with our nails. read more

Had a confirmed appointment but sat in the pedicure chair for 40+ minutes until we finally left due to no service.

Went in for just a simple S&S manicure and after waiting an hour they finally took me. My nails looked awful. Different shapes and bumpy. The lady was rushing because she had people waiting and the next day the nails were already chipped. Will not be coming back 0/10 read more

I had a great experience at this place. I was a bit nervous going in after viewing a lot of negative reviews, but I couldn't be happier with my service. I had a gel manicure and regular pedicure. While picking my gel color, the nail technician helped me to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. My manicure was precise and looks great. My pedicure was fantastic, they really took their time to ensure perfection and included a 5 minute massage. I will be coming back here for all my beauty needs! read more

I just received a phone call from my girlfriend. She described 'star,' the proprietor -- or so he claims. He waited till other customers left, then dismissed all the staff including his daughter. Then, after she was locked in the store alone, he went in the back and got a massager and proceeded to massage her neck while her nails were drying remarking on her neck tattoo 'you should get my name here. star.' she was startled and uncomfortable and shocked and scared. she got out of there fast and paid, but not before he presented a business card and made another advance. she called me from parking lot of the adjacent kroger just moments ago -- still on the phone with her. I'm not sure if this was a crime or some kind of assault? but i'm certain its wholy inappropriate and man i'd hate to be that dumbass if he ever sees me. i'd be keeping an eye out if I was that guy. attached is a photo of the card he provided. obviously not for business. why the second phone number? read more

My husband and I both had pedicures. They did a great job. Very relaxing and clean. Th owner and staff are very friendly.

The rating is way too low for this salon. They actually listen to you and do what you want them to do. They are also very gentle with your feet and legs, which is quite important to little old ladies like me. They are slightly more expensive than other salons, but the service is worth it. read more

My sister and I went in, we aren't from here so it was our first time at this nail salon , I had an appointment for 2 acrylic full sets . When I arrive they tell me the dipped set are better for the nails ... So I end up getting the dipped powdered set instead , worst idea ever, My French tipped nails are just sloppy looking and quite embarrassing actually, considering I paid 117 $ + 10$ tip.. for a dipped powdered set and acrylic set & eyebrow wax . My nails are thick , lumpy & I had to file the sides myself , they were so bulky at the top . 2 stars only because my eyebrows look great & my sisters acrylic set is beautiful. read more

I absolutely love getting my nails done at lake nails. Tommy and Evy are always accommodating. Evy has done som amazing and fun designs on my nails. Just had my Christmas nails done today and could not be happier ! Been coming here for 3 years and always have a great experience. Evy is always up for trying a new design. read more

I have only been here once, and honestly I would really give this salon 3.5 stars. Not quite good enough for 4 stars & not that horrible for 3. I got SNS on my nails. At the end of it I had color on the tips of the fingers, between my fingers & even the side of my palm. My nail tech didn't take the time to make sure everything was cleaned up around my fingernails. My SNS cost $35 for a single color. The excess powder/mess & for $5 cheaper I could go to the nail salon on Scruggs. read more

Only 1 person doing acrylic nails on a Saturday!! 3 people worked on me and my nails still look like crap.

I came to Lake Nails in desperation today, as I had scheduled an appointment at Diva Nails in Moneta and the manicurist, Hannah, had gone on vacation without notifying me of her change in plans. I had been to see her two weeks ago, had her repair some nails and specifically made today's appointment with her. I watched her put it in her book. Being very upset, I had to find some else, as I'm leaving on vacation on Thursday, October 1, 2020. Today turned out to be a dream. My manicurist, Evy, was fantastic. I got the SNS, as I like it, and a fantastic deluxe pedicure. The pedicure, with all of the trimmings, was at least an hour and a half and well worth the money. All-in-all, I was in this lovely place almost 3 hours getting the best treatment I've ever had. I have already scheduled my next appointment. I highly recommend Lake Nails. read more

I made an appointment for my 5 year old granddaughters birthday at 11am for 3 pedicures. We waited an hour and 15 minutes before any of us were taken. I would have left but my granddaughter would have been devastated. We ended up just getting her nails done and left. Horrible customer service. I would not recommend. read more

Well what can I say, I have been to many salons around the area, and none of them have every compared to lake nails! The service is great. The environment is welcoming and fun, Tommy is amazing I have been going to him for years! His wife is also amazing, I would recommend both for any services they offer! They remember each and every costumer thay comes in even if it's been months, 10/10 recommend..my nails always come out exactly how I ask them to do them. read more

I got the sports pedicure and HOLY COW, it was the best pedicure I've ever had. It was a little more expensive than I usually get, but worth every single cent. Emma was a sweetheart and realized that I'm not especially chatty, so I read peacefully while she did her thing. The leg massage was heaven and I loved the large polish selection. I went to the salon today and called a few hours beforehand to make an appointment for 1pm, they said okay see you at 1. I showed up and they said sit and wait a minute. I waited for 50 minutes and no one talked to me. I then asked how much longer and they said 10 more minutes. I finally got seated and the lady who was doing my nails kept getting up to go clean something up or do someone else's nails while I just sat there. I told her the colors I wanted and she painted a different random color I didn't ask for an was mad when I asked if she could fix it. I explained the pattern I wanted done and she didn't do it at all. Whenever the phone rang and she answered she asked me to translate what they said and when they wanted an appointment because she couldn't understand. I was at the salon for about 2 and a half hours and it was horrible customer service. I will not be going back and will not be recommending Lake Nails to anyone. read more

I was very unimpressed. They messed up my moms nails when she only wanted gel but started putting acrylics on! I got SNS that is way to bulky, my thumb nail is crooked from the filing, and one of my nails is way shorter when i asked him to cut them down to where they would all be the same length. very disappointed and more than likely will not return. read more

Truly unimpressed. Nail tech didn't clean the "nail dust" and mess left from the lady that was in the seat before me, made a huge mess all over my hands and didn't seem to feel the need to clean any of it before he was done with me. Filed my nails down so thin I could feel the heat from the file. And finally refiled the top of the sns to be almost as thin as my natural nails. I only went there because it was the only place open on Sunday but, by Wednesday they were breaking at the ends. Not to mention I was charged 40$ for this pour excuse for a professional manicure. If you're in the area save you time and money and go to Modern about a mile away. read more
