Let me start with, I'm horrible at planning anything! My fiancé and I went to view this venue and when we tell you we fell in love with how gorgeous it was it's an understatement. The important thing to note here is that they do a lot of weddings! Towards the beginning they were undergoing a lot of changes within staff and it was difficult initially to contact them or get a response which was extremely frustrating. Once it got closer to our wedding day we got a new coordinator named Tessa and she basically saved my sanity because from that moment on I had no issues and felt so prioritized. Be patient with them in the beginning because you're one of many brides they speak to on a daily basis. Once you're wedding day is actually there, it will be worth every single penny. The food was amazing, the DJ is so good and attentive, our day of coordinator Hayley was also really nice and Victoria made sure to ask me if I needed anything she was there to make it happen. I can't stress enough how incredibly beautiful our wedding was and every single guest told us the pictures of the venue we sent did not do it justice. Also, get the horse carriage it's such a beautiful moment I shared with my dad then with my husband. We saw Tessa the next day when I went to pick up some things we left behind and she asked where we were going for our honeymoon and literally within the hour of us leaving she emailed us so many great ideas and recommendations. Lake Oak Meadows is lucky to have someone like her that is so kind, reassuring, goes above and beyond expectations, and genuinely you can tell she loves what she does. I was a guest at a wedding at this venue and was very disappointed with the overall experience. The first thing I noticed was the smell. The entire venue had a strong lake-water odor mixed with what smelled like gasoline. I was told one of the fire features in the lake/fountain wasn't working, and the smell was noticeable throughout the evening. There were also several maintenance issues that stood out. The large illuminated "BAR" sign had only the letter "B" lit up, while the other letters had burned-out bulbs. For a wedding venue that hosts paid events, details like this should be addressed before guests arrive. The ceremony and reception chairs were also visibly dirty and stained. The biggest issue, however, was at the bar. The wedding had an open bar, and I was told by staff that the bar was open. I ordered two drinks, and afterward the bartender tried to charge me $30, saying they didn't think it was actually an open bar because they didn't have the couple's card on file. That should have been sorted out before serving guests, or at the very least disclosed before taking my order. After I walked away, they located the bride's card, put it on file, and every drink for the rest of the night was free. I asked to be refunded for the $30 I was incorrectly charged, but they refused. Mistakes happen, but refusing to correct a charge that was clearly caused by the venue's own miscommunication was frustrating and left a bad impression. Between the poor maintenance, cleanliness issues, unpleasant odor, and the handling of the bar situation, I wouldn't recommend this venue based on my experience. read more

Dec6th 2025 my grandson Jordan Venglass was married to his love Jordyn at Lake Oak Meadows and it was just wonderful! Everything was perfect! The staff was great , the landscape is beautiful and the food was excellent. The reception tent and heaters were great. We all stayed comfortable! The venue is absolutely gorgeous and offered many, many photo opportunities for our sons wedding. I also really appreciate the fact that the venue hosted a party before the wedding date for the couples showcasing tastings for the different menu's offered and showcasing different vendors that included a harpist, photographers and tastings from their food menus. They also provided the couples with a folder packed with all kinds of info including upgrades available for purchase and different vendors that were not present like hairstylists, local air B&B places for rent and rehearsal venues. The groomsmen room is very large with plenty of space but did not include any snacks or drinks for the guys. The only drinks included were beer and none of the groomsmen drink so that was a disappointment. On the other hand, The reception area was amazing! The fire pits were on with comfortable seating for our guests for the cocktail reception and the guests raved about the Hors d'oeuvres. The tent provided for the dinner was absolutely gorgeous with a beautiful chandelier and lighting, I couldn't ask for a more beautiful setting and the heaters were perfect for a chilly February night, all of our guests were comfortable and warm! The food was great, not your typical wedding tastings! Our guests loved the Italian dinner and some went back for seconds! My only disappointment was the DJ neglected to announce when the cake would be served, he also forgot to mention their was a photo booth for our guests (the photo booth is set up outside of the tent and not in plain site for guests to see). Overall he was very friendly and played a wide variety of music, he even took suggestions from the crowd which I appreciated. My suggestion going forward would be to have a checklist of items for the DJ so nothing gets missed as there is a long list of items and even for those things that get added up until the day before the wedding as the night moves very quickly. The wait staff was barely around as well during and after dinner and we had guests trying to locate them for water and to clear the tables. After the bride and groom cut the cake the staff took over 45 minutes to serve the cake and they only served one tier at time! There was 3 different flavors for our guests to choose from and being this was at the end of the night, many guests left without tasting the cake. Luckily we had added some desserts. The bartender on the other hand was outstanding, Full of kindness and professionalism! She was so friendly and attentive to all of our guests. She deserves kudos and would love to have her at any event! Overall this was a night my son and daughter in law will cherish and we are very thankful to Lake Oak Meadows for providing an amazing day! We got married here back in November of 2024, and everything leading up to our wedding day was absolutely wonderful. The staff was friendly, professional, and always communicated clearly. We visited the venue several times beforehand to show our families, and every visit reaffirmed that we'd made the right choice. On the day of our wedding, everything looked beautiful. The venue was stunning, the setup was perfect, and Lisa was absolutely fantastic--she made sure things ran smoothly and that we felt cared for the entire day. However, we did experience some issues with the DJ that unfortunately impacted parts of our reception. His lack of professionalism was disappointing. He failed to make several key announcements--such as for the money dance, cake cutting, garter toss, and bouquet toss--so many of our guests didn't realize those moments were happening. During cocktail hour, he approached me again about an upgrade we had already declined, which felt unnecessary and out of place. The most upsetting part was how he spoke about my mother. She had to step away during speeches because she wasn't feeling well, and he told another guest she was being "dramatic." That was completely uncalled for and disrespectful. He also asked my maid of honor to go around and tell people the money dance was starting instead of announcing it himself. Overall, it seemed like he had checked out and wasn't engaged in his role. In addition, there was some confusion regarding the cake cutting--no one seemed to know who was responsible for it, and my mother-in-law ended up having to track someone down to make it happen. Despite these issues, everything else about the venue and staff was truly wonderful. The space was gorgeous, our guests had an amazing time (especially with the glow sticks we opted for instead of the upgrade), and the overall atmosphere made for an unforgettable day. Our wedding itself was beautiful -- but getting there was one of the most stressful experiences we've ever had. From the very beginning, there were little things we noticed that we thought were off, but weren't quite sure. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and fit every single thing we were looking for and then some. The price is not cheap by any means, but you get what you pay for - and we wanted the dream. Our tour was with someone that immediately said she never does tours but was filling in. No problem, things happen all the time. We ended up falling for the venue and signing same-day. Anything and everything was said to reassure us that it's an all-inclusive wedding, and they were one of the few venues where that phrase actually applies, and everything would be taken care of for us. Exactly what we needed as busy professionals. Our experience was exactly the opposite. As soon as we signed, communication went off a cliff. We would go weeks with nothing but delays and half-answers, and had to call several times about multiple issues in order to get to a real answer or coordinate anything at all. We started to have staff complain to us how short-staffed they were, and how hard it had been with turnover, along with how difficult other couples had been. Our point of contact at the office changed 3 times in the 6 months we had from booking the venue to the wedding day. We were consistently finding issues, flagging problems, asking again and again for clarification and answers, all while paying thousands of dollars a month. Just 2 days before our wedding, we received an unscheduled, unplanned call from the office to walk through every single detail of our wedding, getting a few of the items wrong and creating significant stress for us. The entire lead up to the wedding, the phrase "why does this feel like their first wedding?" was said each week. For a high-end venue booked out with weddings, we to this day cannot believe how hard it is to get answers and simple tasks completed. It has been a month and a half and 3 emails (after 2 conversations in-person) and we still don't have an actual answer about getting our overpaid balance returned to us. This has been our experience with every single question or issue from the day we signed. The price simply doesn't match the level of professionalism. All of that being said, a few comments on the venue's vendors and day-of staff: The day-of staff were amazing. Absolutely what you would expect. The catering staff and the food quality were genuinely incredible, and a huge highlight of the day. The bartenders were incredible. They handled the guests incredibly well, and took great care of us all. Full of kindness and professionalism, their praises are still being sung weeks later. Lisa. Our coordinator. What an absolute gem. We wouldn't have even had a wedding without her. She was constantly firefighting and advocating on our behalf on the day, during our rehearsal, and even on the run up to the wedding. She kept us calm and grounded every step of the way. She deserves the world, because she's the only reason we had the beautiful wedding we had, and because she's an incredible person. Mike, the DJ from Lake Oak Meadows, started out fine but quickly became one of our biggest stress points. After our initial call, communication nearly disappeared - multiple emails went unanswered, promises were left hanging, and we only got responses when we texted or called. The day before the wedding he was dismissive and defensive until realizing how much had been dropped. On the day itself, he failed to play songs we'd flagged as must-haves, did not edit the father-daughter dance as promised, and gave attitude to our guests, something we're still hearing about weeks later. His lack of professionalism stood out in an otherwise incredible lineup of vendors. All in all - We had a beautiful wedding in the location we never knew we'd be lucky enough to find. But the stress and frustration were unacceptable. The venue is stunning, but the process was disorganized and unprofessional. I almost don't want to leave a review, because I don't want anyone else to steal our venue! ;) This year was our program's first graduation ceremony, and we wanted to choose a venue that was small enough to feel intimate but big enough that we could grow as our program does. After touring several wineries in the area, we selected Lake Oak Meadows for its lovely location, appetizing menu, and friendly staff. There were a few hiccups along the way - there was some staff turnover, some phone tag, and some customization needed since their materials are all geared towards weddings specifically, but overall they were extremely pleasant to work with, flexible enough to meet our needs, and the event itself went off without a hitch. All of our guests loved the location, the food was good (although more vegetarian entree options would be much appreciated), and the end result was a delightful evening. This venue is absolutely breathtaking with an Italian, romantic and vineyard feel that would make any bride and grooms dream wedding become a reality. The sales office point of contact, Izzy was wonderful! If we had any questions, concerns or needed advice she was just a phone call/ email away. Lisa Occhipinti, our day of coordinator, was beyond words PHENOMENAL! We had monthly check-ins and phone calls throughout the 14 months up until our wedding. If there was anything we needed or had an issue with, Lisa would take care of it. She is WORTH EVERY PENNY! She is also a kind and hardworking individual! Beautiful venue, however one of the bartenders was extremely rude. She was an older Hispanic lady, was unable to get her name. She was only asking ID for women only and was also being rude to the bridal party. Gave out free drink vouchers and had refused to take them. Wedding wasn't open bar, which was totally fine but after a certain point they started to double the price in drinks after ordering the same thing a few times. With how expensive it is to have a wedding there you would thing they would have better customer service and be a lot kinder.. kind of a Debby downer when you're there to celebrate love and the staff kinda kills the vibe.. overall the wedding venue was amazing and the rest of the staff was very friendly and welcoming! read more

Be aware of the horrible cobblestone throughout the venue and plan your shoes accordingly. It was so hard to walk from point A to B - especially during rehearsals and the photography sessions(s). My heals kept getting stuck between the stones, and it really hurt all of our feet to walk out there. The bridal salon/suite is an adorable little cottage. The grooms suite is connected, but on a different floor. The grooms suite is made to look like a bachelor pad/ barber shop. The bride's level has a bedroom, bathroom, closets and a number of salon stations for getting ready. Accidentally left something in one of the lockers, so beware of that. If you want your wedding to be an absolute fairy tale, this is THE place. Shortly after I was proposed to, I did what most women do and I started obsessively watching wedding TV shows. On the show "I Want THAT Wedding" the season finale displayed a venue that was noted as cost effective and whimsical. Oh, and there was fire in the lake at the vineyard. Fire + lake + vineyard? Wow! Living in North Hollywood my interest immediately piqued when I heard that this place was in Temecula... Not too far at all! As soon as we arrived at the venue to do a tour with Jasmine, my now husband and I knew 100% this was the place that we wanted to get married. Jasmine had even texted us the morning of to ensure we had quick access to get ahold of her if we needed to connect that morning prior to our visit. It's the small stuff, ya know? She treated us to a glass of champagne while we reviewed the packages available. My husband doesn't usually alcohol, but he really enjoyed the champagne (as did I). We had given ourselves a very short turnaround time to get married... We wanted to get married as soon as possible and barely had four months to figure it out. During our tour we discovered that this venue had everything figured out for us. All of the things that I was too stressed to figure out were included at this place... The officiant, the DJ, the floral group, the bakery, plate chargers, colored napkins, a day of planner, the food, photo booth, alcohol, golf carts, a horse and carriage... YUP, a horse and carriage! Another small but special detail that really convinced us this place was great - after our initial tour, we were enjoying more wine in the tasting area, and when we were done we hopped on a complimentary golf cart ride back to our car. All over the property they have folks on carts offering to help transport people to their car, restroom, etc. We left right at the time that they were flipping over to an evening wedding. We got the opportunity to witness the professionalism and attentiveness that the gentleman driving the golf cart had. Though he remained very pleasant towards us, it was fantastic to see his attention switch to the wedding and hear the people on the walkie-talkies put their focus on someone's special evening. We felt lucky to witness the professionalism and enthusiasm the employees had towards the event. Though the venue has an efficient day of planner, my partner and I opted to get a full planner of our own. Upon solidifying our wedding date, Lake Oak and ALL vendors worked harmoniously with our planner to ensure a seamless special day. Every little detail throughout the whole process was either exactly what we wanted, or what we didn't even know that we needed. You can adjust your package in many ways. They even have a wedding suite for every one to get ready in. It's divided by having women on the top floor, men on the bottom with separate entrances. The men's floor has a pool table, dart board, foosball table and barber chair. The women's floor is well lit, spacious, has makeup chairs, and a bed. You'll be assigned a host for the day that ensures your wedding party has adult beverages. I could go on and on but I really want to emphasis that Lake Oak Meadows is a great cost, the employees have incredible work ethic and positive energy, and that it really is a magical place. I've signed up for their wine club because I want an excuse to keep going back to the place that will forever be imprinted on my heart. We had our wedding here on 12/12/24 and it was incredible. Lake Oak Meadows is a beautiful venue with a gorgeous atmosphere/enviornment. The staff including the day-of-coordinator Lisa, Stephanie, and DJ Mike were all amazing. They go above and beyond and pay close attention to every detail. Stephanie went out of her way to help set up our decorations and make use of our extra flowers and candles. The wait staff were kind and thoughtful - they even saved some appetizers for us while we were busy taking photos for cocktail hour. Izzy and Lisa were super responsive beforehand and communicated with me a lot in the weeks and months leading up to the wedding. The food was INCREDIBLE. This was one of our main reasons for choosing LOM. So many of our guests complimented the food and catering did a great job. All in all, this venue was so perfect for our wedding and we could not be happier with our interactions with everyone involved and with how our wedding went. Our guests have been raving about it. I recently had my wedding at LOM in September and it was absolutely everything I could have hoped for. Leading up to it I was very nervous as it all seemed TOO easy. Turns out, it is that easy!! The staff at LOM have figured out how to make everything stress free. They send you everything you need to know from the beginning and check in at regular intervals. Any time I had a question and had to email Lisa our day of coordinator, or Izzy for catering, or DJ Mike they responded within the day. Stephanie our bridal hostess was absolutely amazing! I don't know how she moved so fast but she took care of all of the set up the day of and still took great care of us in the bridal suite. The bridal suite and groomsmen suite was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed, clean bathrooms, lots of mirrors, excellent lighting, and a tv and pool table downstairs. It was all going so smoothly, and day of rehearsal was so quick and efficient, that some from our party even had time to go down to Vitagliano and have some wine to prep for the event! Our guests that arrived early also liked being able to go down to the winery and have a bite before the ceremony. As for the actual event, everything was decorated exactly as I'd wanted it. I had provided pictures along with all of the decor we brought and if there were any questions Stephanie was excellent at communicating with us. We used the provided lanterns and we did keep things pretty simple as you can see in the pictures, but when they tell you that you don't need much in the way of decorations because the venue itself is so beautiful they are absolutely right! We had so many guests compliment us on choice of venue as it was absolutely beautiful. Everything flows so smoothly as the coordinator, dj, and catering staff know exactly what they're doing! Lisa from the beginning helped us create a perfect program. They kept everything on time all while making it look so effortless. We did not have to worry about a thing and were able to just entirely enjoy the evening. The catering staff were so friendly and polite and took great care of my new husband and I throughout dinner (thanks Jorge!). I also wish I'd gotten the bartender's name as guests told us he'd been great as well. The food was better than expected as I was a little worried about some of the reviews of the food on here. We went with the fish and Tri tip and it was delicious and the portions were big. I know my husband and several other people had seconds as well. We went with the smore's package which I highly recommend as it was a hit. All in all, I could rave for days about what a perfect day I had here! I do recommend making sure you read everything they send you. It has more information than you might realize and they do a good job of laying everything out for you. Email them with questions as they are very quick to respond. Thanks Izzy for handling so many of our questions before the wedding! I also recommend the lighting package. It's very inexpensive and really added to the dance room vibe. Also the Vitagliano wine we really liked and ended up buying a few bottles that day to bring to the bar and our table so if you don't love the wine at the bar this is definitely the way to go. This venue is a SCAM! Aside from being aesthetically pleasing, this place is horrible. When we toured the venue, they were telling us everything we wanted to hear. Every question I had was pretty much a yes! Yes, we can have live music. Yes, we can dance outside. Yes, we can book an extra hour. Yes, we can place our sweetheart on the step. We get to the office to discuss numbers and I'm already in awe with everything I see that we already knew we were going to make it work financially. We had 125 guests, got talked into the most luxurious packages available. They also had the date I wanted so thought it was meant to be. We signed the contract that night. Our monthly payments were about $3,500 aside from saving the date. So we were in pretty steep. As the months were coming things started changing and communication started getting weird. Everything that we requested at the beginning was no longer allowed and we weren't able to accomplish our vision. We kept getting emails saying I'm not sure who said that but, no! After we had already poured thousands of dollars into this venue, cancelling wasn't an option. We had to accommodate so many last minute changes that they made the process very, very stressful. But the worst part of all, I got an email 2 or 3 days before my wedding saying we still owe $10,000 and if we didn't have a cashiers check by the time we showed up to rehearsal, we wouldn't have a wedding! Not sure where this number came from! No one could explain what went wrong! We were enraged! We had to loan from a family member because it was such short notice! We were livid! This place is a money grab. The staff are clearly incapable of doing their job. And to make matters worse, at the end of my wedding the DOC had the nerve to ask if I had any envelopes to give! AKA, do I want to tip! I literally told her to take it from the $10k I just dumped. This place is horrible! Save yourself a lot of money and go elsewhere. read more

Something about Lake Oak Meadows grabbed my attention, and I scheduled a tour that was the one I was most excited for. During our tour, my heart knew this is where we were meant to get married, and so we did. My experience with LOM was nothing short of incredible. Truly, every detail was considered with this venue... many breathtaking photo opportunities, the dock for the final dance, the dance room, the stunning tent, the water and the fire features, the build of the bar, the fun and full service getting ready rooms, the tasty food, the responsive and professional staff, and just the absolute beauty of the venue itself. I've never been to Temecula before and this was a nice little retreat from the actual city itself. I'll just list some bullet points. Please fix your driveway, I bottomed out my Tesla coming in... A Very Honest Review from a 2025 Bride (Wedding Date of 2/21/25) I want to share my detailed experience with you so you don't book this venue blindly. If you want to discuss more about my experience, feel free to contact me personally via email at ldavis2401992@gmail.com. It's very important to me that brides understand what they're getting into before securing their wedding date at this venue. Pre-Wedding/Booking: I was initially drawn to Lake Oak Meadows because it is absolutely stunning. The grounds were immaculate, and the panoramic views were so beautiful that it eliminated the need for any extra décor or "fluff." The venue staff was great during these visits, and the process of selecting our package was straightforward and thorough. One thing to note here is that you sign up for a contract minimum up front when securing your date. Essentially, you're allowed to switch out the enhancements like the photo booth, donut wall, etc., but you must meet that agreed-upon contract total at the time of booking (more on this later). Post-Booking/Pre-Wedding: Once we secured our date, we received a flood of emails and electronic documents from Lake Oak Meadows. The first issue I encountered was that, unlike other all-inclusive venues I've seen, LOM does not provide a physical binder with all the necessary documents in an organized and chronological order. Brides are left to organize everything ourselves, which can be overwhelming given the number of forms, payments, and communications you'll be dealing with. I work in operations and am quite detail-oriented, so I quickly created my own to keep track of all forms, payments, and communication. After booking, one of my early frustrations was the slow communication from LOM's administrative team. To be clear, I wasn't the type of bride who sent a hundred emails about every little thing. However, it took 10 days to get a response to one of my first questions, and I only got a reply after following up and expressing my dissatisfaction with the delayed response time. My main point of contact for the remainder of the wedding planning process was Izzy Giasante, the catering coordinator. It struck me as odd that the catering coordinator was handling all client communications, but after that initial delay, Izzy was very responsive and attentive. The Extravaganza: Lake Oak Meadows invites all couples to their "Extravaganza" event, which is advertised as an opportunity to meet vendors and sample the menu. In reality, it's a disorganized event. The evening lacked structure, and there were no instructions or agenda provided to us prior to the event. We received only a flyer from Izzy that stated we could not bring additional guests. When we arrived, we had no idea where to go or what to do. Servers circulated with cold appetizers, but the offerings were limited, and we only managed to sample a few items. After wandering around for about 30 minutes and trying to figure out what was happening, we finally connected with our day-of coordinator, Lisa Occhipinti. Lisa was fantastic and knowledgeable, and she answered some of our questions during our brief time together. (Important Florist issues/details here that I can further speak on if contacted). Three weeks before our wedding, I informed Izzy we had 75 confirmed guests, per our contract. She responded that our headcount was 77, as LOM includes the bride and groom in the total guest count--something that was never disclosed. This meant we should have invited 73 guests instead. Now, we were being charged for two extra meals to include our own. No where in our LOM contract does it state that bride and groom are included in the "guest count". When I told Izzy this, she simply apologized and said anyone eating/drinking on the premises has to pay. Now pissed, I then request a cost breakdown as the above has led to an uneasy feeling that there could be additional information I'm not aware of. Upon seeing our cost breakdown, I discovered an unexplained $1,088 charge. Months earlier, I had swapped "late night bites" for an "extra bar hour", but Izzy removed the late night bites without adding the extra bar hour, leaving us charged $1088 for absolutely nothing. Best part - no one at LOM informed us. When we confronted them, they issued three incorrect invoices, then ignored us for five days. The owners refused to comp the missing bar hour, so we went without it. Wedding Day: Lisa (Day-of Coordinator) was amazing. Stephanie (Bridal Hostess) was terrible--delayed service, broken A/C, and neglected the groomsmen. Signature drinks weren't served despite confirming them. Jorge (server) and the bartenders were fantastic. The food was excellent. Our DJ, Patrick Hill, ignored our playlist, killing the dance floor vibe. Frustrated, we left early at 8:30 PM for our afterparty. While the venue was beautiful, LOM's poor communication, billing errors, and lack of accountability overshadowed everything. Our photographer, Lilia Parker, was phenomenal--she made the photo-taking process enjoyable and effortless, creating a comfortable atmosphere that felt like we'd known her for years. PART I: This Is For All Prospective Brides!!! After a month to collect my thoughts and over a week of communication with the venue, I've decided to write a deserving, honest Yelp review for Lake Oak Meadows where my now husband and I got married. I have mentioned ALLLL of my concerns and very much so preventable mistakes that occurred below to the venue manager (Jennifer) and all that I received was an apology and "there's nothing else we can do for you". This venue's accounting is fast to collect payments and rack up additional costs but very far from organized and the other mediocre/ poor Yelp reviews all have truth to it and nothing has been done. Lake Oak Meadows advertises as an "all-inclusive" venue but the added costs were substantial; such as flowers. It only comes with basic centerpieces for the tables. I had to pay an additional $2,600 for the ceremony altar, bouquets, corsages, boutineers, etc. Same with the bakery, which was extremely difficult to get ahold of. Nearly $400 for much needed additional pastries. Every single dessert was gone! A cake is simply not enough. The DJ was actually great, I liked Mike (Good Time DJ Service). David with MadamPalooza was also great. Very professional and prompt with emailing with regards to renting tables, easels, mirrors, etc for the seating chart and sign-in table. Again, I had very simple decor and all of that was over $1,000 so it all adds up very quickly. This is not just a wedding venue, there is a winery in the back. Please keep that in mind. BEWARE of the immediate attempt to upsell their "Lavish Planning Package". They sell it like it is on sale for $950 (regular price is $1,995). NOT TRUE. It's always $950 and please do not pay for it. It's done "in-house" by planners and you have no choice of outside planners/coordinators. Supposedly after the mistakes that occurred at my wedding, they will now be allowing that but I don't believe the contradictory statements that management provided me. I had an 8-month engagement and live 2+ hours away from the venue so I paid for the planning package thinking I'll need the additional help. We had 73 guests total. I had a very minimalist style with decor and my overall vision. I realize there are surely several other brides ahead of me but I felt like a constant bother asking very simple questions. Almost ALLLLL of my minor decor requests were messed up due to poor communication and poor planning which I will get into. I had 3 bridesmaids, my mom, mother-in-law, and myself getting ready that morning. The bridal/groom suite is a bit beat up. The baseboards are dirty and chipped. Definitely could use some TLC and better "photo ops" for photography. The bride is allowed to enter at NOON and the groom is allowed to enter at 2:00pm! It worked out okay for my husband who only had 3 groomsmen but he did say he felt rushed by the time photo/video arrived. My hair and makeup girls advised me to get there at 9:00am. The venue charges an additional $150 an hour so $450 later just to get in. They make a huge deal about no alcohol in the suites while getting ready. They will require a signed acknowledgment that if outside alcohol is found, they will charge you $500 and the alcohol will be confiscated. They provide beer for the guys and sparkling wine for the girls. My husband had to ask because the bridal hostess was nowhere to be found. As my husband and I are doing our first look. It was so special and such an intimate moment. Going back to the fact that there is a winery that's open to the public in the back... My husband has a mic on him during this moment and we are surrounded by our photo/video/BTS team. What do we hear right as we walked towards each other? Loud, gas-powered golf carts transporting drunk, rowdy people coming from the winery yell "DON'T DO IT BRO!!! DON'T DO IT!!!!" We tried to regroup and not let it kill that moment but it was extremely upsetting. I asked my planner (Lisa O) for two things for the ceremony: I wanted chevron (diagonal) seating. That was not done and I wanted that very badly. I also opted to have our bridal party seated in the front row (discussed the previous day at the rehearsal!) and my husband had to mention it to her because guests were arriving and sitting in the first row where our bridesmaids/groomsmen would be sitting. Where was my planner!? As I'm getting ready and enjoying myself, the bridal hostess Jessica comes in and asks me to call MadamPalooza because the sign-in table wasn't delivered and legitimately asked ME to call him. Isn't that the job for her to do? Or the planner? Turns out, he dropped it off where it was supposed to go but worried me from that point on about everything else at this point. I wasn't aware THIS person would be the one setting out my decor that was explained to my planner. If i had known that, I truly would've gotten there at 6:00am and done it myself! read more

Part II: I had a cheesecloth for the dessert table and brought my own dessert platters because the bakery had very themed decor. The cheesecloth was placed on the beautiful table that I rented that didn't need to be covered. The dessert table is an old door that lays horizontally on two wine barrels. That needed the cheesecloth. I also rented 10 black modern lanterns - FORGOT THOSE TOO! Not one was displayed anywhere. I rented a mirror for our seating chart. We had 8 tables. I brought the whole box of wax seals (oops, my fault!) to keep everything together and organized. The wax seals came in a box of 50. I brought them all so that none would be lost or ruined. The wax seals were used to place the seating chart to the mirror. They were placed so close together leaving so much room on the bottom of the mirror. I know I have extreme attention to detail but it looked as if it was just thrown together very quickly without thought. What did she take it upon herself to do? She took the remaining 42 wax seals and placed them on random menus that were placed in the napkins. So half of my guests had them, and half didn't. I wasn't aware of this until 4 different people had asked me what they meant? Dietary restriction? VIPs? They weren't supposed to be there in the first place! Why was this not clarified with me had there been questions? Where was my planner!? Where was the communication in what they call a "team"? The dance room has a mantle and fireplace. I had 6 picture frames that were meant for the mantle. They were scattered throughout the reception. Not only was the "day of" coordination a complete mess, but what did I pay extra for as far as planning goes? My husband and I filed out marriage license as confidential. Our officiant, Reverend Brian Graham was amazing. He took the documents he needed and gave the packet full of other important documents/instructions to Lisa, the planner. 4 days after my wedding, he sends me the receipt and tracking number for the package that he sent to the county recorder's office but to go through the paperwork in the packet so that I can pick up the official marriage license and certified copies that I had purchased. I text Lisa and ask her where this was and she said she put it in the grooms suite. Mind you, my car was 10 YARDS from the grooms suite. Not only were we not even told it was there, but I could've just put it in my car! Or somewhere safer. Our bags were packed and ready to go so that we can leave after the wedding. She told me she will get back to me, she didn't. So I called the office myself and the receptionist filling in basically said there's been 2 weddings since mine so it's probably gone. I call the office back and basically had enough and expressed every single one of these concerns. The manager was pointing fingers at the planner. The planner was pointing fingers at the venue and the housemen. NOBODY wants to take accountability for the mistakes that took place. After weeks of communication with the venue, managers, planner, etc - I went around in circles justifying my point to this greedy venue. It was bad enough to supposedly effect change but all you've got is an apology? For all of the inconveniences and trouble, maybe an incentive to come back? Maybe a lunch at the winery? A bottle of wine from the winery? My wedding is over now and though it was a beautiful setting, the behind the scenes is absolutely subpar. There are SOOOO many other beautiful venues in Temecula that offer much more, better planning and better customer service. Please future brides, beware of all of these issues before signing any documents. read more

After many months to recollect on our wedding day, I have decided to give LOM a 1-star review, to highlight specifically our avoidable, and subtle disappointments with this venue. My husband and I got married here in November of 2023. Generally, the venue grounds are quite beautiful. The lake sets up a great background for your ceremony and pictures during your event. Our guests appreciated the space. Despite this, If you are going all-in on a venue like LOM, you shouldn't have to encounter as many issues as I did. If you are thinking about booking this venue you should be aware of the things I went through so you can make the right decision and not experience the same problems. Firstly, beware of the up-sell. Despite the florist being "Included in the package", only the guest tables and sweetheart table were covered. My bouquet, the altar/arch flowers, aisle flowers, and the boutonnieres were not included, which cost us an additional $2,500. We also opted in for many package upgrades that felt necessary. The bakery that was included in the LOM package had a standoff-ish attitude and was quite unfriendly. When we did our cake tasting, the woman was snappy, rude, and short with us. The cake from the venue-provided bakery looked great, but was muted in flavor and moistness. In contrast, the additionally purchased side pastries were good. Regardless, having to return cake stands before 11am on the day after the wedding is a big disservice to how busy and exhausting a wedding can be, and having to recruit someone to get up early to do this was a cruddy experience. During our ceremony, carts of non-wedding guests were being transported back and forth from the parking lot through the venue. This happened when I was beginning my walk down the side of the lake to the ceremony and I was accosted by winery visitors during this incredibly special and sensitive moment. Later that day, guests congregated by a side path and actively looked into our wedding. We were incredibly uncomfortable with this. When we attempted to get security to move the guests along, the security staff were nowhere to be found. Having our wedding coordinator move guests along was a big inconvenience. One detail that we see clearly in our wedding photos is that our wedding coordinator took down our expensive arch flowers before our family photos were shot. It is so unfortunate to see the bare wooden wedding altar behind our family members in our photo set. The venue got cold during dinner, so we ordered heaters. One heater didn't work, and a staff member attempted to relight the heater for an entire hour while guests were eating. When asked if he could just get another heater, the staff member said we had to pay for a replacement (!!!). Our family provided a credit card while eating to remove the distraction. The fact that the staff member didn't just go get another heater or replace the propane tank for an entire hour, and the fact that we were charged for an ADDITIONAL HEATER to "solve" this problem just felt so petty after spending tens of thousands of dollars on the space. As an aftermath of this situation, we spoke to LOM and they did specifically apologize for this happening, and refunded the cost of the heater. The venue suggested we use the DJ included in our package and reassured us that they had used Good Time DJ Services for all of their previous weddings without issue. From the beginning, DJ Mike was difficult to deal with. He was hard to get a hold of, and very slow to respond to messages or emails.You are provided a spreadsheet to fill out with music choices, but even with this he was unable to put a good playlist together for us. The DJ also did not make an announcement to meet and greet our guests as the night's schedule progressed, so we missed this opportunity to connect with our guests on a 1-1 level. Missing this moment was a deep bruise on our memories of the evening. Although we had paid extra for this, many guests were told that they were only able to order beer, wine, and our two 'signature drinks' despite the fact that we had been extremely careful to make sure a full bar was paid for and available. Guests said the drinks felt under-poured or weak on top of this. Once again, the cost of these add-ons to our wedding package makes these feedback points unfortunate. As mentioned before, despite the high cost and physical beauty that this space provides, Lake Oak Meadows dropped the ball. This is an all-inclusive package that will get you and your wedding planning solidly to third base, but will require astute attention to details, phone calls, and persistent overwatch of day-of plans to get a home run out of this package. We know that the individuals running LOM don't intend for this to happen, but with weddings happening every day for months on end at this location, things slip through the cracks, and they will affect your day. read more

We toured many wedding venues around the Temecula area and LOM was by far the best one! Unlike most outdoor winery venues where there are lots of foot traffic from people visiting the winery, LOM is its own venue separated from the winery, so it's more intimate and well maintained. We are more than happy and grateful that we picked them as our wedding venue. If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor winery venue with plenty of flowers/trees and greenery for that garden ethereal wedding, then LOM is for you! Not only was the venue absolutely stunning in the summer time as we had a June wedding, but the staff we worked with are amazing! Izzy is the main go to person, and she was always very quick at responding via email and answered all my questions throughout the year of wedding planning. Kim was our day of coordinator, and I couldn't ask for a better coordinator. She was so organized and went over every detail of the wedding multiple times so that we could just have fun and enjoy the day of the wedding without having to worry about anything. She contacted all the vendors in advance and worked with them on the day of to make sure everything went smoothly on the day of our wedding. Both Lizzy and Kim are amazing to work and made planning our wedding stress free. Also, LOM is an all inclusive venue, so it was easy to work with their catering, baker, etc. Overall, we had such a wonderful experience at LOM and would recommend it to all of our friends and family wanting a wedding in the Temecula area. I got married here on 9/5/21! We had a few issues with a different venue before finding this one! By the time we were trying to book the pandemic had just hit and it was hard choosing a venue when no one was open for you to see it! Luckily we were able to look at this one and facetime with Layne who explained it all and helped us imagine our day. We IMMEDIATELY booked. They were quick to respond in email since I would drop my check off to them monthly and confirm via email that it was received. They were very on top of communication with me and I made sure to ask the appropriate questions with enough time so there was no last minute issues. Even when it did become a last minute issue they made sure to stay in contact with me. Coordinator -- Hayley was our coordinator for our wedding and she was absolutely on top of it! We kept in touch and communicated. I was able to discuss and give her the break down so she could understand my vision. She was a big help with all the pre-planning. Assistant -- Brenda was wonderful! I just loved her personality and how easy she was to talk to. Her and the coordinator provided a number for us to call in case we needed anything else before the ceremony. I had my box ready of all my items and they were able to use them to decorate the venue! I trusted that Hayley & Brenda would compliment it and I was very happy with it all!! Cater-- Food tasting was also FANTASTIC. I could not compliment how amazing the food was. Our guests couldn't stop talking about it and many went for seconds! We had the pesto chicken, Caesar salad, salmon & goat cheese appetizer & the zucchini mix. Can't recall the appropriate names, but we were very happy with the selection that they provided. DJ--- Our DJ Mike was great! He reached out to us and made the night super fun! He asked for all the songs and played all the songs requested! He was great. And a great communicator. Any mess ups on my part he was super attentive on and was able to help us fix it. As for the Venue, it was much more beautiful than I could have ever asked for! I would recommend Lake Oak Meadows to anyone!! They really my wedding day the best day! This wedding venue truly has so much to offer couples and has some of the most beautiful grounds, we had an amazing time! Everything from start to finish on wedding day went so smooth, starting with the bridal suite having everything we needed! The golf carts the venue provided were also a lifesaver for us girls. This is a wonderful place to go anytime of year. The season I did go was summertime when it's too hot to be outdoors, thou this place had plenty of tree shade and ample room for social distancing and beautiful scenery everywhere. This is an oasis is in the heart of wine country. A word of caution for the ladies, it's stunning out here. What was great about our visit since it was during the Covid - there was not too many people or else this place would be swarming. It's all outdoors and it's inviting. There is a small man-made lake and tables line part of the periphery and views are endless. There is an area where you can order wine and appetizers with water mists to help keep your body cool when temperatures are past 90 degrees. Many people come for the wine. We came to do a photoshoot and explore the area and we were captivated. If you are out here, don't miss this this place with your special someone to do their wine tasting or come for a picnic with your family as there is ample space. read more

They will promise you everything but under deliver when it counts the most on the actual wedding day. Basically you are at their mercy and the communication is horrible. Thanks to the Lake Oak Meadows team, our wedding day was absolutely magical. Izzy from the office was quick to respond to all of my questions, requests, and concerns. Lisa, our coordinator, was amazing and definitely took a lot of the stress away from us. We got the platinum package and it was worth every penny. No stress, no fuss. Everything was already included with qualified professionals. From the coordinator, to the florist, to the officiant, to the bakery, etc. We didn't have to go shop around and read hundreds of yelp reviews to find the right person.
