We got married here in September. I wish I could give this review a 4.5, but here's our pros and cons. Pros: beautiful location! The guys help with parking, which is a plus. The venue is stunning. Even during the hot summer, there was a perfect breeze and our guests stayed cool. Lighting here is also beautiful. The dance floor is beautiful too, overlooking the mountain view. I just truly can't get over how beautiful this venue is - seriously, check out the venue for the views alone. Cons: Emily was taking pictures during our ceremony. But, some guests had trouble finding the venue (I suggest getting balloons or something, definitely include a map on the wedding website). You have to be out of the bridal suite early (I believe 6pm) with all of your belongings. The bridal suite was cool, but definitely not AC'd. No AC in the grooms room, but there was a large fan. We didn't use the pool area, at all.

During the first look by the orange tree.

Secluded Garden Estate was the perfect space for our wedding! As big outdoor adventurers, we knew we wanted our wedding to be held somewhere with lots of greenery, natural beauty, open space, and expansive views, though it was also important to us that our venue be easily accessible for our guests and that everyone felt comfortable throughout the whole day. With Secluded Garden's close proximity to Temecula, our guests had a variety of accommodations to choose from for their stay over our wedding weekend, as well as plenty of different activities to keep them busy. The grounds at Secluded Garden are magical, plus well-maintained and well lit so everyone was comfortable walking the pathways between ceremony and reception. I'm sure they do a lot to prevent mosquitos, etc. from becoming unwanted guests, because no one got bitten! Shoutout to the guests' reception bathrooms as well, they were definitely cleaner and better maintained than at other outdoorsy venues we visited. Not only is Secluded Garden a gorgeous space, but it is also a DIY venue that requires the couple to arrange for all their vendors themselves - This is exactly what we were looking for and allowed us to build our wedding day to be just as we wanted it! Many thanks to Emily and her family for opening their home and space to us for our big day - It was a perfect and beautiful setting in which to start our next chapter.

Best day ever! Josh is such the perfect wedding coordinator and the entire staff is so kind and helpful. We couldn't have imagined a more beautiful and perfect day!!!!

I just had my wedding here and it was amazing! All the staff that worked there were so helpful and our day went so smooth because of their hard work. Josh was a great help as the coordinator! I highly recommend the entire team at secluded garden. Our guests kept talking about how beautiful it was and how much fun they had. The venue speaks for itself because of all the beautiful views and greenery. I would not change anything I did. I have attached photos to see the beauty this venue has. Thank you for making my day the best day ever!

How accessible is this venue for someone in a wheel chair or crutches?

I just photographed a wedding there yesterday and as beautiful as it is, I think it would be a challenge for someone in a wheel chair or crutches because of the lack of paved walkways and steep hills.

This venue is well equipped for a rustic/barn style wedding at an extremely reasonable price in comparison to some of the other venues. This venue is a DIY venue, so you will have to supply our own vendors if you choose this one, but that just makes it more memorable, right? They've got several places where you can choose your ceremony and or reception at, tons of photo-ops, a bride and groom suite to get ready (the bridal suite is pretty big I might add), and some tables for you if you choose to use theirs. This place is strictly a no-smoking facility, so if that's a dealbreaker for you, look elsewhere. But nevertheless, we really thought this place was cute for anyone with a smaller budget!

The property itself is absolutely stunning--the botanical beauty of the grounds, the lush florals, the charming cottages, and the peaceful atmosphere created the perfect backdrop for our wedding day. Everywhere you looked felt like a dream. A huge and heartfelt thank you to our coordinator, Jules. She was nothing short of amazing. Her attention to detail, calm presence, organization, and genuine care made the entire planning process and wedding day completely stress-free. She anticipated needs before we even realized them, kept everything running seamlessly, and made us feel supported every step of the way. Every bride deserves a Jules! I also have to give special recognition to Meg from The Creative Corner Shop. The florals were beyond breathtaking. She perfectly captured our vision and transformed the venue into something even more magical than we imagined. Every arrangement was stunning, artistic, and thoughtfully designed. The staff at Temecula Creek Cottages were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive to both us and our guests. We had been engaged since the end of 2020, but because of covid and our financial situation we had to put our wedding on the back burner. When we were finally in a good enough place to start planning again, my number one priority was finding a venue I didn't feel like I was compromising on. I knew I wanted a venue with a fantasy vibe, something that would be unique and magical, possibly outdoors but not a priority. The cottages delivered all that and more! A lot of reviews state pictures don't capture the full beauty this venue holds, and they are right. It's easy to see the time, effort, and love that Jules and her team put into making this small section of Temecula a little slice of fairytale paradise, but what really makes this place extra special is Julie Edwards herself. From the very beginning I could tell that Jules was someone special. You could tell her number one priority was to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams. As someone who had never planned any type of event before, there were many times I felt a little in-over-my-head, but whenever I had a question or any concerns, I knew I could shoot Jules an email or text and she would be there, helping me through the process and easing my worries. Because of Jules and her amazing team, me and my husband had the wedding of our dreams, and I have memories I will cherish for the rest of my life!

It's…read moreabsolutely beautiful, the food and drinks were fantastic, and I wouldn't make a different decision about the venue. Some highlights: - The Stone House as a venue is beautiful. There was plenty of space for 150 people, and it felt like the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner were all slightly separated despite being in the same spot. We appreciated the convenience of staying in the same location while also having the experience of moving guests around. - The Stone House is not accessible by foot or private vehicle. It was incredibly private, and we were able to control when guests arrived. No one was able to get there super early, which helped with the schedule. The shuttling was also very easy. - We loved creating our signature cocktails with the mixologist Eric. He's super knowledgeable and it was so much fun. We came up with 3 perfect cocktails. - The food was great, and I never like wedding food. It was hot! The tasting was also really fun, we liked meeting vendors and the other couples getting married there. - The Creekside House was a huge plus. We used it to get ready. I had 9 bridesmaids, 2 groomswomen and 3 mothers all getting ready there. It never felt crowded. We also did our Sunday farewell brunch there. There was plenty of parking and lots of space inside and outside. We had music on while we got ready and a football game Sunday. We also had a couple bridesmaids and a few guests stay there, which was great. - I loved Devon. She was super friendly, really great at explaining all sorts of information when I first viewed the venue, and overall very helpful. We had a small hiccup with a suite for the getting ready space. She called me, we talked it out and she came up with the idea for the Creekside House, which was better than the suite anyway. - Every in-person interaction I had with any staff member was always positive. Checking in was easy and we were able to get into the house early. Everyone was always kind and attentive. - The property is beautiful and we used a lot of it. We did our rehearsal on the oasis lawn, which was a good size. We did our welcome reception on the patio beneath the Corkfire grill (including glow ball which was so fun), took photos at the Meadows and a few guests golfed. It was great as an all-in-one venue. - Our bridal suite was beautiful, we really loved it. There was a bottle of champagne, a cookie and a cute little note when we arrived. They gifted us a very soft blanket. Some Challenges: - There was a lot of nickel and diming. We needed an extra microphone for our ceremony vocalist. That was an additional charge ($130). We needed an extra cord, that was a charge. etc. I get that those things are usually rented for a fee. We paid around $50,000. You'd think they could just let us use the mic. - I don't feel like the amount everything would cost was accurately explained prior to us signing. Maybe that's on me and my understanding, which is why I didn't choose 4 stars. My advice would just be to really try to get clarity about what it's all going to cost. - It was pretty cold that night. To be clear, this is not the venue's fault, just something to consider. The ground also gets very slick and would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Overall, we are so happy we got married at TCI. We can't wait to visit in the future and remember our beautiful wedding.

The important thing to note here is that they do a lot of weddings! Towards the beginning they were undergoing a lot of changes within staff and it was difficult initially to contact them or get a response which was extremely frustrating. Once it got closer to our wedding day we got a new coordinator named Tessa and she basically saved my sanity because from that moment on I had no issues and felt so prioritized. Be patient with them in the beginning because you're one of many brides they speak to on a daily basis. Once you're wedding day is actually there, it will be worth every single penny. The food was amazing, the DJ is so good and attentive, our day of coordinator Hayley was also really nice and Victoria made sure to ask me if I needed anything she was there to make it happen. I can't stress enough how incredibly beautiful our wedding was and every single guest told us the pictures of the venue we sent did not do it justice. Also, get the horse carriage it's such a beautiful moment I shared with my dad then with my husband. We saw Tessa the next day when I went to pick up some things we left behind and she asked where we were going for our honeymoon and literally within the hour of us leaving she emailed us so many great ideas and recommendations. It is easy to find and appealing inside. However, it was often tense Coordinating a Wedding with them. Trusting their decorating taste we were recommended and went with their food caterer. When we decided not to go with their Caterer it was a hassle, eventually that led to items being removed from our wedding. What is worse is that my Mother Law was dissed subtly on the owner's social media as Loud and lying about disliking the food. Amongst all the Wedding anticipation we did not come to sign a finalized agreement until several weeks before our wedding. It was hard to reach the owner to voice dislikes directly with them. Our contract mentioned when our last payments should be, and we were just reminded well over a week later. When asked why we could not be reminded sooner, we were told more or less " they do not have time to remind everyone." Thankfully this was resolved, but not without telling us "You people are difficult" and threatening to end our event. Of course hearing that about a week and half before the event was a lot, even getting to the point of wanting our money returned back. In our last days things remained professional and our wedding was beautiful, and the staff helped things go smoothly. We just wish it stayed like our first encounters, the owner is a Spiritual person, was easily accessible, and has good taste and that is what excited us about them doing our wedding. I hope in the future you can maintain that beginning, middle, and end. I could see how other reviews could be higher if they did not experience the same customer service, but this was our experience.
