The gym is nice, the indoor/outdoor pools are awesome, and its very clean. I even dropped a kid off at the daycare and she had a good experience. The staff are nice and a few already know my name. I still need to use my free personal training session and massage credit. Excited to try the other locations!

I had such a good morning at the club, worked my shoulder, stumbled into the Pilates reformer area where a really kind trainer got me excited enough to sign up for sessions and her weekly class, then swam about 500 yards. Everything was going perfectly. Then came the locker room. It was quiet, almost empty. I came out of the shower, headed to my locker, and this fully dressed woman was standing there. She said good morning, I said it back. But then she sat down right next to me while I was naked, turned her back, and pulled out her phone. The whole locker room was open, and she picked that spot. I felt exposed and uncomfortable. Once I got dressed, I told her that phones aren't allowed in the locker room. Instead of apologizing, she turned it on me, saying I was "threatened" by her just scheduling her classes. I told her plainly: I felt unsafe because she sat right next to me with her phone out while I was undressed. She doubled down, kept making snide comments, then followed me out of the locker room mocking me with "have a nice day." That's when I lost it and told her to go fuck herself, that no one should be pulling out a phone next to a naked person in a locker room. At the front desk, they brushed me off, said the GM would call me. Two days later she finally did, and her cold, terse, completely unempathetic tone made everything worse. She told me the woman had every right to have her phone in the locker room - that their rules only included the use of recording devices in the locker room. Then she actually suggested that if I didn't want to risk being filmed, I should use the private changing area by the pool. That floored me. I told her they were risking a potential lawsuit by not enforcing stricter rules. She just said, "Yes, we sure are," in a way that made it clear she didn't care about my opinion at all. Then she asked, "Do you want anything else?" I said, yes, I want your bosses to call me. Ridiculous. Frustrating. And I think that "they" didn't enjoy interacting with me. So I'll keep coming. And I will keep complaining until they commit to a safer space for everyone.

I had…read morehoped to come last year and didn't make it so I was happy to finally get here this year. The Brown Deer Pond is a chlorinated pond which I learned while we were there swimming. They close the pond for the summer and then offer a few different days and times for dogs to come and swim in the pond. And, my dog Sylvie just loves to swim! There is a modest charge of approximately $5-$10 to attend. The event could use a little more guidance around rules and safety. There were toddlers and children sitting in the sand and playing in the water while dogs were running about, it seemed like it could create a safety concern. If the pond is open for dogs children should not be commingling. Overall, this is a great event for the dogs!

I have also seen several staff members just standing around instead of opening another swim area while they could have. They also have a rule of no non-life guard approved floatation devises- so it must be a life jacket type thing- which is a pain for kids who maybe just like to have a little something on for fun or for a little extra security but don't need a full on life vest. It's also a pain for little babies, who won't be swimming but are easier for mom to hold in the water while sitting in a baby floating tube. I think if the staff was a bit better (not rude, condescending, lazy or too knit picky) the place would be a nice place to go. I wish better luck to others, and maybe they have changed staff/rules by now?

I started taking tennis lessons there with Scott and have always had a great experience. Over the years, I've watched the club evolve into so much more. The facilities are always clean--whether it's the tennis courts, the gym, or the newly added pickleball area. There's also a place to just hang out and have a snack or a drink. Recently, I've been visiting the Mequon and River Glen locations more often. There's a full gym now, a pool, saunas, and really nice locker rooms with all the amenities you could need. The addition of pickleball is a great bonus, and the staff and coaches continue to be friendly, helpful, and fun to learn from. Yes, the membership is on the pricier side, but given the range of amenities and the quality of the facilities, I absolutely think it's worth it if you take advantage of everything they offer. It's been a fantastic part of my hometown experience here in Mequon
