He informed me that tryouts had occurred at 5pm today and suggested I go to the middle school immediately. When I asked for clarification on the location, he mumbled the school's name, making it difficult to understand. I requested an email with the details for confirmation, but he refused. I then asked to speak with someone else due to the communication issues, and he again refused. I asked if I could receive a refund due to the lack of communication and was only met with a laugh on the other end. This lack of organization, poor communication, and unprofessional response has been very disappointing. I hope future improvements are made for the sake of other families relying on your programs.

If you are looking for a Japanese school for your child to attend, they offer that. If you would like to just learn more about the community through the different cultural classes, just sign up for the emails and you can be alerted for upcoming classes that they offer. I've taken amigurumi (crochet), ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement), and a cooking class. All of the instructors are great and mostly volunteers. So it just shows you what a great community there is. They have festivals through the year and also help put on the West Covina Cherry Blossom Festival. They also host the West Covina obon at the center but it is organized by the Buddhist church which is based out of the community center. So there is just a lot of activities that you can get involved with.

We got our picture in the local newspaper with Smokey. We went to Paramount Studios to see Blue Hawaii, and just missed Elvis, we saw that day, Jerry Lewis making The Nutty Professor, a scene where he picked up weights and his arms stretched to the ground while he stood there, very funny, and ate lunch with Cartwrights of Bonanza, and a slew of Stars. Rep for the company came and ended up sending their crew and got it to stop. Within a month, it started leaking again. When contacted the office second time, they said the original fix was the doors sweep was put on wrong from the factory, but when I talked to contractors, they said there are NO sweeps on patio doors that open outward...lied to. Now they want to say house settled..now some of the other doors leaking, comes in past the door seals. Doors only about 1 year old and doubtful they will last another, very poorly built.

However, come day of delivery, we called Home Depot 3 times (at the request of Home Depot to call and check on status) only to learn late that day that no doors had arrived. After 14 more days of waiting (2 week-long delays), Masonite finally delivered the doors directly to us. The most frustrating thing about this was that Home Depot told us that Masonite will never proactively call them to warn of a delay and will only confirm such when they are contacted after a delivery window is missed. However, Home Depot mentioned verbatim that, "Masonite always has delays" and so they were not surprised. The frustration continued with door delivery... the day the doors were delivered, 4 of them were damaged beyond use or repair. Some were missing pieces of the structure while others had cracks in various places. Considering it is believed that Masonite was in possession of these doors the entire delivery, I don't know why they wouldn't have been more careful with their own product. We are now expecting our baby any day and still waiting on doors (from another company), which has increased our stress level since this has also pushed out other finishing projects that we expected to have complete already. Because of this experience, I cannot dissuade you enough from this company, even if you never work directly with them.

He needs to understand that a doctors office is no place for being racist and politically charged -maybe its okay at the art gallery to take your anger out on white ladies but I felt he was taking out his issues by being passive aggressive toward me and pajoratively telling me where to go after the receptionist downstairs was watching tv so loud she didn't even notice or try to help direct me walking up a broken escalator . I was pregnant for the first time nervous and scared and near 40. He just had zero bedside manner. He told me to answer a questionairre about experiencing domestic violence and how my a parents died while asking other insensitive questions and not slowing down at all. He would also not tell me my height in feet and inches but I fail to believe he does not know that since I too grew up between here and Mexico and have worked in medicine. Its a basic requirement of the job not an bilingual issue. He knew how to read my height but perhaps I was so much taller than him it angered him. Not the first time ive experienced this and no I dont play basketball. By the time the other nurse came to do my blood pressure they could not get an accurate reading. I was crying for my mother and shaking saying i wana go home and he didnt care and kept asking until he saw he was hurting me with blood pressure and left. They are attentive, respectful, mindful, thorough, and consistent. The psychiatrist I saw was willing to listen to my mental problems and I think June the therapist was a very sweet lady there to just listen which I can always appreciate. I really like the dentist I see. She and the assistants make me feel comfortable and they seem non judgemental. I have the nastiest teeth for a 32 year old. Tsk tsk on me. The substance abuse counselor, Mr. Felix was such a breath of fresh air. He went at my pace and we set realistic goals for my road to recovery. I will always choose their services over anyone else's except I'm in a program which means I have to see my program's psychiatrist only. Very good people and professional :)
