They claimed that we did not clean up at the end of the evening when in fact we did. We were there until 1 in the morning cleaning in our party dresses while their staff was drinking our wine and eating our food. They had the audacity to show us pictures of the room to justify taking money from us but they showed us pictures of what it looked like BEFORE we started cleaning. We know it was one of their employees named Dave who took the pictures. He was in the kitchen most of the night drinking. Since we didn't take our own pictures we couldn't dispute it! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!! Tim Ridley and the rest of the staff will say anything to get your business up front and they will continue to say anything to keep your money in the back end. Its a community center and SHOULD be for the community. Some community centers don't even have you pay to use the space if you live in the community. We feel cheated and disappointed because they turned a wonderful night into a stressful one. We are telling all of our friends and relatives not to use the space for events because the stress and disrespect is not worth it.

The park itself is still under construction in some areas, so it looks like there's even more to come. Even so, it's already a beautiful, clean, and family-friendly park. One thing I really liked is that there are three different playgrounds, so kids of different ages have plenty of options to explore and play. The park also features walking paths, picnic areas, and other amenities that make it a nice place to spend a few hours. (Public Works) If you're looking for a fun place to cool off on a hot day or let the kids burn off some energy, this park is definitely worth checking out. I can't wait to come back once all of the construction is finished!

It offers a splash pad, dog park, multiple play areas, grass field, covered patios, and bbq grills. It looks like the park is still under construction because they had some fencing up and areas blocked off. Today we played at the splash pad. It's not super big but it's great to have a free safe place to take route kids to cool off. There's two small slides and multiple fountains. The only critique I have is I wish the ground was rubber. It's cement and the slip and fall, sometimes by choice. Overall, this is an amazing park and I hope the community members remain respectful while using it and maintain it.

I enrolled my son in the basketball class for ages 9-15 based on the class description, which…read morestated that it would be led by experienced coaches and was designed for children who were either picking up a basketball for the first time or looking to improve their skills. The description also indicated that participants would learn core fundamentals such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and footwork. Unfortunately, that was not our experience, and I am very disappointed with this class. Had I known what the program would actually be like, I would not have enrolled my child. The class was disorganized, and the coaches did not appear to have the experience advertised. They seemed to be young adults or high school students who lacked both basketball coaching experience and experience working with children. For instance, while the children should have been receiving instruction, one coach was on the other side of the court trying to dribble the ball between his legs--and repeatedly couldn't do it. The other coach spent much of the class standing with her hands on her hips, occasionally having the children dribble through cones a few times, but providing very little instruction, feedback, or skill development. Throughout the class, the children received very little instruction on the fundamentals. They briefly practiced passing and then attempted to shoot baskets from near midcourt, which was far beyond the skill level of many beginners. Soon afterward, they were placed into a scrimmage, where my child--who is brand new to basketball--was expected to play alongside children who already had basketball experience. What concerned me most was that when several children ended up on the floor fighting over the ball, the coaches stood by laughing instead of stopping play, breaking it up, and using the moment as a teaching opportunity. Rather than coaching the children on proper positioning, sportsmanship, and ball-handling, they allowed the chaos to continue. The instruction did not match the course description or the expectations that were set when I enrolled my child. I expected a structured environment focused on teaching beginners the fundamentals before moving into game play. Instead, the class lacked organization, meaningful instruction, and appropriate coaching for novice players. I understand that the class description also stated that it would be fast-paced, but being fast-paced should not come at the expense of instruction. Where was the teaching? Where were the fundamentals? I enrolled my child to learn basketball, not simply to run up and down the court. Without meaningful coaching and instruction, this felt less like a basketball class and more like some what supervised free play on a basketball court. Maybe advertise the class as "free play on a basketball court."
