My friend and I were both way past due for some self care. I suggested we have a mini spa day here before exploring for the day (although it would've been even better as a nighttime, right before bed ritual). I chose the Hiker's Recovery Deluxe massage ($160 in August 2022) with CBD oil ($20 add-on fee). This was a 2-hour massage, but between falling asleep and being so relaxed, it felt like barely an hour; it went so fast! The massage was very relaxing. The masseuse had great pressure and rhythmic movements. The room temperature was comfortable and the ambience was very chillax. The only thing I remember negatively is that the walls were thin, so I could hear my friend laughing outside the room (after I woke up; I heard nothing when I was asleep). And I swear, that CBD oil takes me all the way out! I want nothing but a bed and a pillow after being CB-rubbeD down. My friend got the 30 minute Salt Room ($20) session and a 60 minute Himalayan Hot Stone massage ($85). She liked her hot stone massage but thoroughly disliked the salt room experience. She stated they put her in a white blow-up tent and she assumes it was just a humidifier or air purifier with salt water. I don't know; I've never done a salt room, so I don't know what the expectation is. Whatever it was, she said hard pass on the salt room. The ladies were very nice and very good at what they do. The next time I'm in the area I'll return for another Hiker's Recovery Deluxe massage. read more

My wife and I go to weekly massages back home in Dallas. We were sore from hiking the Grand Canyon and decided to stop by a local favorite in Page where we were staying for a separate hike. We both got a massage and came up with the same verdict. It wasn't bad but definitely not good. Friendly service for sure. Ambience was okay. The massage was dominated by elbows and too much forearm work which is lazy from my perspective. It wasn't super comfortable and when I would wince and ask for lighter pressure it would eventually return to hard forearm and elbow work. There's definitely a need for that but it can't be the majority. It doesn't feel as good. For $70 plus add ons, should include better hand and finger work. I have been to Lake Powell before and was a little weary of booking a massage because I was basing it off the horrible dining choices in the area. I figured since this place lacks in restaurants, it must not have any good massage places either. I called the day before and was happy to find out they had an appointment for the next day when I would be in town. This was quite literally the BEST massage I've ever had. I get massages monthly, if not more often. I really wish I could remember the girls name who did my massage to give her credit, but I'm writing this a few months later and I cannot remember her name. She really took the time to work my kinks out. My neck is chronically tight and she is the first person to completely loosen me up after a massage. I have been going to the spa for about three years. The staff there is very professional and they care about their clients. I specifically have been using their himalayan hot stone massage. Which I highly recommend. I have used their Light therapy and the muscle balm application, especially on my back and ankles. They are very conscientious of your needs. My partner and I stayed in Page, AZ for work and extended our stay for my partner's birthday. Last minute, on his birthday, we decided to get a massage and the reviews were so wonderful, I called Lake Powell Massage. Michelle called me back very quickly after I had called doing her best to book us 2 appointments that day. I knew there was a chance we wouldn't get anything since I was calling the day of, but I was praying for a miracle! Michelle (the owner) was so kind and went out of her way to squeeze us in. They were low staff that day, and fully booked, but she was able to get both me and my partner in for an hour and half massage. I was SO thankful. I went with Michelle and my partner was with Tamara. Michelle mentioned she did more target area massage where Tamara could do the deep tissue, which my partner wanted, he is a very muscular man and can take a lot of pressure which Tamara did a great job. I will say, I have gotten A LOT of massages and do my best to get one at least once a month, I always ask therapists to focus on my neck, head, and upper shoulders because it's where I hold the tension, Michelle is probably the ONLY therapist that really did what i've always asked for and wanted. She helped release so much in my neck and head that at a few points and knots she was working on I felt a little release of tears from my eyes because it's been stress and knots i've been holding on to for so long. I write this review with the utmost humility and gratitude. Was referred to this business by my chiropractor. I have found the owner to be knowledgeable and skilled in the health care profession beyond what you might ordinarily expect. I have pending major surgery to correct a condition which is causing severe stiffness of muscles to the point I sometimes have trouble walking. The issues caused by loss of mobility of my condition was causing me to get worse, not better, even causing more problems such as excessive weight gain in spite of attempts to lose weight. I am very grateful that I have been given the chance to be able to move and walk pain free again, and do the kinds of exercises I need to get stronger. Just wanted to share my experience and the reason why I think this is the best massage place for anyone doing the grand circle trip across Utah and Arizona I had done about 47 miles of strenuous and mostly uphill hiking and jogging in Zion National Park, Bryce National Park, Horseshoe bend, Antelope Canyons,Glen Canyon Dam and Hanging Gardens hike in Page and about 7 miles of kayaking in Page. All this was done in 5 days continuous hiking and kayaking trips an by the end of the sixth day my entire body was sore and aching, especially my thighs, legs, feet, shoulder,back (due to a moderately weighed bag for carrying stuff) and neck. So, I booked up a massage online with Michelle a day before I was leaving Page on the spa's online website for the morning of the next day. I had had to leave for grand canyon hiking the same day. Since, I did not get an earlier appointment, I booked an 11:45 am appointment with her. Then at about 10:30 ish am, I called her up and asked her if she could reschedule a little earlier. She happily accommodated my request and told me that she could do her best and try to get me in about 25 minutes earlier. This was helpful to me. After reaching the spa, she welcomed me, made sure I was comfortable and arranged for full body massage in a nice and serene room. While entering the room, I told her that my feet might be a little sandy and smelly because I was hiking that morning. She said, "don't worry a bit, its Arizona, everyone's feet have sand on them!". As I entered the room, I really liked the ambiance of the room and taken by delightful surprise by nice fragrance, soothing music and dimmed lights. Michelle took notes about all sore points and gave an awesome massage. She also gave me some helpful tips and recommended visiting a chiropractor as she noticed some tension around my neck and found out the possible root cause. She made sure that the pressure that she was applying on my back was up to my comfort by receiving feedback from me. By the end of massage, all the soreness and pain in my body was almost or completely gone and I felt like doing a moonwalk across the room! After the massage, she gave me great advise on how should I plan my remaining trip for the grand circle with regards to activities, food and places. I followed her advise and got more variety to my travel experience then I expected! I really felt very happy! Michelle is not only an awesome therapist but also a great person. She is empathetic, kind, smart and detail oriented. She knows a lot about human body, muscles, joints, vertebrae and had she suggests helpful remedies. Really loved the place and service that was provided. I have been to some more expensive massage places in Arizona and did not feel half as content there as they were more concerned about selling and making a profit out of the services and less concerned about the overall quality of service. This place is definitely not like that and for a reasonable price, one can get a really good massage therapy. Made my day. read more
