I cannot recommend this enough. This was the most breathtaking kayak through the canyons; and the hike was spectacular. A friend and I booked this event for her 40th birthday and it was the absolute highlight of our trip! We were thinking of renting kayaks and doing it ourselves but are both so grateful that we didn't because our tour guide, Ryan, was fantastic-- extremely knowledgeable, helpful, witty, and patient with us, as we were both beginners. He made it really fun! We learned that Britney Spears shot her video "I'm not a girl, not yet a woman" there, too! This was so worth it and will definitely be coming back and booking with Ryan!

We kayak for 4 miles total round trip to the Antelope, was super pretty. The water in November is so calm and peaceful, only saw two boats thankfully so no waves. We did the private tour, so worth it!, we don't like being surrounded by too many people, our guides name was Max. He was very nice gentleman and made sure we weren't getting wet and was pushing our kayaks back and ford so very much appreciated!!! He was nice and let us do our thing and take as many picture as we wanted to. Beautiful day out we enjoyed it very much.

    After the adventure!

Yes, do THIS tour!! Don't be lame and take a bus tour and hike. Use your arms and work for your views! This tour was out of this world--our guides Ryan and Huston were wonderful! They were full of knowledge and FUN! When I come back, I will 100% be doing this tour all over again. I could post pics of the Canyon, but you should go see for yourself, pictures don't do it justice!!

Phenomenal Lake Powell/ Antelope Canyon kayaking tour with Sky as our tour guide! Yes, you're going to work just a little bit to kayak there and back-- but man was it worth it! The canyon wall views as you're actually ON the lake are stunning and once you get to the antelope canyon you appreciate it that much more. And our guide Sky was fantastic-- he went out of his way to show us the best photo opportunities, take photos for us and shared with us the importance of the land to the natives. 10/10 recommend!

Lake Powell Paddleboards hooked us up with two double kayaks. I believe we paid about $45 per double kayak without tax included. They taught us how to strap both kayaks on my Camry. They gave us life jackets and even gave us a map to direct us where to go. Be aware that you will need to pay a fee to get into the national recreation area. We visited Glen Canyon yesterday so we only paid about $25 per vehicle. The pass is good for one week. They have other options as well. The parking at Lake Powell Paddleboards can be a bit hard since they have limited spots but I didn't have any issues with parking. The workers there were very nice. My friends and I had a pleasant experience. They helped us bring the kayaks down after our trip was done.

My friends and I wanted to visit lake Powell but had no idea how to get there so we went over this establishment and I'm so glad we did. The prices for the kayaks or paddleboards were whole day prices until 6pm (it's best to get out early and rent). They had practically anything you might need out on the water: waterproof bags, sun hats, apparel and so much more. Although busy and during the pandemic the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They gave us a map of the area and let us know which dock would be the best for us to stay clear of boats and get good parking. They mounted the kayaks on our car and gave us a mini tutorial on how to mount them once we were done at the lake. The only unfortunate thing is that we wish we would have been told how windy it could get once on the lake because it was very hard to paddle out. We got one hell of a workout. Had we known we would have opted for the paddle boards or single kayaks.

Amazing time in Page! We couldn't do the Antelope canyon tour due to Covid but this sure made up for it. If you're not an experienced Paddleboarder I would get a kayak or jet-ski since the boats create choppy water. Bring snacks, lunch and plenty of water and start earlier than later (took us 5 hours roundtrip with breaks) The hike at the end is worth it all. Thank you fir the outstanding customer service! They even strapped the boards to our car and gave us instructions on everything. Highly recommended. There gift shop has great stuff as well :) Such a fun day!

We enjoyed our guided kayak paddle down the Colorado and into Antelope Canyon for the 2 hour tour with no hike. The kayaks were great and they provided all the gear you would need. Dana was our guide and he was great at showing us around, telling us about the area, and taking us to unique spots (like a little beach where we got to walk onto some rock islands). There were a lot of beautiful views, it's wild how much the water level has gone done (and unfortunate for the area, but it doesn't take away from the experience).

Great place to rent SUP's or bikes. You can also buy cute souvenirs. We rented bikes on short notice and they had 4 bikes ready for us to go right away. They provided us with a map and directions in case we got lost. They let us know which bike paths to take if we were dare devils and which ones to avoid if we wanted to take the easy route. Very helpful people and the prices are fair.

Had such a great morning on our paddle board! Dana was the best guide! He kept us entertained with his stories and kept us all safe ! Also the gorgeous scenery is stunning.

Excellent customer service! The owners and staff here are all helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the area. We drove in from out of town and the first day ended up being way too windy to be on the water. They let us check out the water to see what we thought and helped us change our reservation once we made a decision. They were careful when loading/unloading the kayak, paddleboard, and oars into/on our rental car. The provide life preservers as well. They gave us a couple of maps with specific information about distances and good spots to swim. Their shop has quality souvenirs unlike anything we saw elsewhere. So even if you aren't trying to rent a boat, check out their other goods. Tshirts, jewelry, stickers, keychains, waterproof bags, stones, all kinds of cool stuff. Support this awesome local small business and meet these really great people on your next trip to Page.

Had a trip coming out West and wanted to be sure I got to see everything on my bucket list- Antelope Canyon being one of them. With Covid restrictions and closures I found myself trying to find a way to get a chance to. My husband and I love outdoor activities and saw you could kayak in to the canyon. SO glad we chose this way to check it off my list. Kayaking into Antelope Canyon should be the only way to go- and make sure this company is who you book with. Seamless transaction and guidance. Our tour guide Aaron was outstanding- taking photos throughout, providing details and history. I will definitely be back thanks to them!

My husband and I did the 4.5 hour tour with Ryan, he was an excellent and pleasant guide. We had a great time and saw some amazing views, definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking for a guided tour.

We got the Wahweap Bay Special where the delivery of the kayaks were free and the time slot for rental is 1pm to 6pm approximately. You could do the single or double kayaks with WazSUP. Billy was definitely informative and personable. He made great recommendations with the routes to go and went as far as recommending restaurants in the area. The only caveat is where the kayak is dropped off, you would need to lift it to the Lake on a slope going and coming which wasn't difficult for myself but could be for others. Billy, the owner disclosed this to me prior and other places I called didn't but it reviews complained about not knowing. You had 2 clear beautiful options in direction. South took you towards the Glen Canyon Dam that gave you an Antelope Canyon feel or North East towards the Ice Cream Canyon which was our choice. Keep in mind this takes about 2.5 - 3 hrs to do in total time. Going through the lake to get to that point could have been deemed tedious as we had to pass two docks, one seemed to have nice boats on the pier, the 2nd had what seemed like boat rentals and after was a very interesting site of houseboats. Once you get pass that then you look towards your right for an entrance on the far side to Ice Cream Canyon. At the entrance there is a smaller rock that you would have to pass that reminded me of Rocky Road Ice cream, once you get pass that you will know you are there as nothing else around looks like this. It reminded me for of vanilla ice cream or a snow cone. It was definitely worth the paddle for myself but not necessarily for someone with no experience in kayaking. If I was to come back I would definitely recommend maybe a jet ski or something faster to be able to see more in a shorter span of time.

The day before our tour, Julia called to let us know strong headwinds were expected and asked if we wanted to adjust our time. We already had a different morning tour scheduled, and they were incredibly accommodating with our plans. At the launch site, we met our guide Logan, and we were lucky that it was just our family of four on this tour. Husband and I wore aqua shoes and my daughters opted to wear their Birkenstock sandals and go barefoot, which was fine if you're okay with getting red mud on them. Logan was friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. I was a bit nervous since I'm a beginner kayaker, but he let us move at our own pace. It ended up being a great workout while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The scenery was absolutely stunning. The canyon was quiet, beautiful, and not crowded at all. We paddled across Lake Powell and into the canyon, and the cool lake water felt amazing in the warm end-of-March weather (mid-80s). They provided life jackets, offered bottled water, and Logan even took photos of us both on the water and at the end of the canyon, which we really appreciated. He also shared helpful paddling tips along the way. The entire tour lasted about 2.5-3 hours and was a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. Highly recommend for families and beginners looking for a scenic and well-guided kayaking experience!

Our group completed the kayak and hike which were very much worth it! We needed slight accommodations and Sid and John were reassuring and supportive for both my mom and I. This tour is really for everyone and I can't recommend this tour company and John enough. Because we traveled during off season, we had the entire lake and trail to ourselves. John left much time for us to take cool pictures and was a wealth of knowledge. He made sure to engage with each person in the group and was successful in getting the more shy individuals to step out of their comfort zones. John and Sid (the other employee) made this tour worth it. They provided awesome recommendations for things in the area and also future outdoor related activities in the U.S. Be sure to pack enough water. Remember you are in a kayak and your items will likely get soaked. Luckily they provide one water proof bag per kayak which can hold your phone and camera. If you feel the need to pack more, I recommend that you bring your own waterproof back pack. I opted to go barefoot in the kayak and wear shoes on the hike. You will have to walk through water to get on and off of the boat. Do not let your size and fitness level deter you from this tour. The team is incredibly accommodating and reassuring, making this the perfect tour for all. Highly recommend this tour and either Sid or John!

I never made one negative comment against Steph she was great. I just made some suggestions on my other reviews and the direct response from 'Paddle Express' "was to place blame while lying" instead of accepting the suggestions in peace. The owner Sean is very unprofessional and a bully with narcissistic mannerisms/behaviors. If you look at his responses to his clients that don't give him 5 stars across other review sites you will definitely see a pattern!! "He takes no accountability" 'HIS TACTIC IS TO PLACE BLAME WHILE GOING INTO a full rant against his clients ". The best response for a professional business owner is 'OH' "not everyone is professional"! "Take some accountability and stop bashing your clients". Nothing and no one is perfect but when you go on an entire rant attacking your previous clients it shows your character. I'm really sorry I chose your company when I booked. There were so many companies I didn't expect blatant bullying. I must say it's okay you can't make everybody happy but one thing you can do is stay clear of people like Sean. Attack me if you must Sean! "NO RESPONSE IS THE BEST RESPONSE when dealing with your type of personality". You're a liar and the truth doesn't exist in your response tactic. I literally gave Paddle Express 4 from the start and now 1 star for 'the lack of professionalism'. Paddle Express asked us how we were feeling about paddling in this weather and they offered no pressure for us to continue. They allowed us to decide independently of the others in our group if we wanted to continue. 6 out of 8 backed out and they didn't force the last two to cancel which I thought was very professional. We were able to receive a full refund and I would most definitely book with them again. They offered us dry bags, nice life vests, newer paddles and their kayaks were clean (even though I didn't get to actually use one). I like that they take care of their equipment and don't use run down ratty worn out gear. I would definitely recommend Paddle Express to anyone and I'm looking forward to using them on my next trip out here.

I think compared to many reviews, I feel fortunate that it could've been worse. The pros were we had a professional airline and military aircraft pilot who could fix and understand all the mechanical and electrical dilemmas we had, we rented a starlink from a guy in Page Az which made music and entertainment actually existent. That is a pro move. It was $144 for 5 days that was more than worth it. Starlink gets 6 stars. Their satellite tv setup was janky af and even the pilot couldn't get it to work because cables were literally missing. But that's fine, we're there for the friends, family, views and water. The "staterooms" were better than sleeping in a coffin but the mattresses were the next step up from a jail mattress. Yes. I've been to jail lol. There was a small mouse running about. But it was kinda of a cute little dude. We got stuck on shore, but I blame that on us not being professional houseboaters. We did contact them over radio and they came and got us out. So I give them props for that. I'm an outdoorsman and I like roughing it, so I was fine with a lot of what went down on this trip, but my wife... different story. If you go on this trip, your perception is key. Expect the worst and hope for the best. Make sure someone in your crew is a badass with mechanical stuff. AVOID WAHWEAP MARINA -- WORST VACATION OF MY LIFE…read more We rented two houseboats here mid-July to the 24th. Ours, the Discovery XL, was a filthy, falling-apart wreck that should've been retired or burned years ago. Half-broken range, ripped canvas top, spiders and webs everywhere -- and it reeked like a sewage dump the second we boarded. We had a cleaning crew sent out before departure, and even they told us straight up: the boat had NOT been cleaned before it was rented to us. They did their best to clean the boat and make minor repairs in the one hour they had, but it wasn't enough. There was a raw sewage smell that blew through the A/C vents at random times for hours-- and we couldn't shut the A/C off in 100+ degree heat, so we were stuck breathing it in for the entire trip. Imagine trying to go to sleep and your stuck breathing in raw sewage. On top of that, every single sliding door on the boat is old and busted. The tracks are so warped that the doors are a struggle to open at all. The slider in the back has a broken lock, so it just slides open and shut on its own all day long wasting A/C and letting the heat in-- every door on this busted up boat needs to be replaced. Another employee told us the real problem: this company doesn't actually repair the houseboats. They slap a temporary fix on it and hope it holds. That's exactly what this boat felt like -- a floating liability/ porta-pottie. Josh, the manager, should be fired. Zero empathy, zero accountability. When we complained, he tried to blame US for not asking to switch boats -- even though we were told everything was booked and no one offered us that option. A manager who already knew the boat wasn't cleaned and blames the customer anyway has no business managing anything. Do yourself a favor and rent from Antelope Marina instead -- their boats look like they are actually maintained. Don't waste your time and money on a houseboat from this marina like we did, it was a vacation from hell.
