It was fresh, delicious, a lot of variety, and affordably priced! Definitely a great meal if you're en route to Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, or just simply passing through. It *is* inside a strip mall so be sure to look for the sidewalk signs near the Ace Hardware/Rustic Thistle and on the other side of the shopping center near the actual entrance of the strip mall it's inside of.

We journeyed out here a few weeks back in our Jeep Renegade on what would be our first time really using it in an off-road situation. We didn't get stuck at all, even though we don't know how to off-road very well, but there were a few sketchy parts so just be careful when you get to the part where high clearance 4WD is recommended because the warnings are serious. Once we got out to the views the path becomes pretty poorly visible so we didn't know exactly where we wanted to go, but we found a good spot where a fire had been previously and chose that as our campsite. It was awesome. Check out the photos if you don't believe me!! Also, we got there when there was plenty of daylight and left when there was plenty of daylight so we wouldn't have to worry about driving around next to cliffs and tons of slickrock in the dark.

Even on Labor Day weekend, we saw maybe 6 other cars the whole time. A four-wheel drive, high-clearance vehicle is strongly recommended. There are plenty of campsites with fire rings, but keep in mind there are no other campsite amenities. The landscape on the ride there was other-worldly, but the views of Lake Powell were just jaw-dropping. We got there in time for sunset views, then woke up to the best morning cloud porn of our lives. We were also lucky enough to watch not one, but two Sunday night fireworks displays going off on the lake below. Highly recommend for all you outdoorsy, adventurous folk!

Biidi the Arch is a very random but cool spot right behind a Shell gas station in Page, AZ that you…read morecan walk to. It's actually more like a big sand cove rather than a true "arch", but if you get up to the back wall inside and turn your camera to wide lens, you can see why it is actually a large/wide arch. There's a lot of sand on the walk up here which is also a decent hill, it only takes a few minutes but don't discount how tired you might get in the hot sun walking through sand -- if you have mobility issues it may be challenging. But once you get to the end, you can get a nice photo and head back the way you came. I appreciate that they put a little sign by it describing the place, including that "Biidi" means "The Arch" in the Navajo language. It's nice that it's remained free to visit as well, particularly because it's a really small place, but it is unique. I wouldn't even call this hike because it's so short, so even if you're tired, if you're passing Page, AZ I'd recommend a quick stop here!

It's not a long or intense hike, which makes it great for a quick stop during a road trip. I love how accessible it is--you don't have to go out of your way or plan a whole day around it. Just park, explore, and enjoy the views. Definitely worth the stop if you're passing through the area!
