Simply gorgeous; relaxing rustic wood cabins with breathtaking view of Beaver lake in the Ozark Mountains. Cabins has full size bed with pull out sleeping sofa for the kids and lower section with 2 beds for bigger parties, has 40" inch tv, fireplace with fire logs only, fully function kitchen with cooking ware, 2 person jacuzzi tub, beautiful balcony with table and chairs, front area patio with outdoor charcoal grill with seating. Owners are super friendly, they clearly value their guests, makes you feel welcome immediately and at home, they make sure you have what you need. The main office area has mini store with snacks, laundry soap, and other misc items to purchase, shirts, home decor and souvenirs. Highly recommend coming here for a few relaxing nights.

We stayed in a cabin overlooking the lake. It worked out great for our family. Very clean, comfortable, glad we brought extra duraflame logs we used quite a few.

We were even welcomed by the deck with a heart shaped knot hole. The sleep number bed gave me the best sleep in years. We were refreshed, and we were able to reconnect. We felt like newlyweds, again. Sometimes we stay in the old hotels downtown and other times we decide to stay on the lake. I like both options, but I will say the peacefulness out on the lake is so nice. If you're on the fence about it, please know you should have zero hesitation about staying at Beaver Lake Cottages. These are very nice little "homes" ... I had cottage #1 and it was quaint and comfortable. White wood inside, clean carpeting, a kitchen with all the trimmings, and a Jacuzzi tub below a large window facing the woods. Even the couch was nice - and you know the couch is like the first thing to go in a community room. This cottage was honestly some place I would actually live in - like a studio apartment since bed and living room are together. But it was homey, cozy, well-appointed and very, very clean. The cottages are relatively easy to find. There is a well-lit sign at the entrance to the driveway that you'd have to try very hard to miss, even at night. The cottages are built along a pretty steep hill along the path to the lake, but it wasn't trouble by any means. At night, when we arrived, it was a bit nerve-wracking since I didn't know what the area actually looked like - all you see is a narrow lane and black space. But it's honestly not bad at all. Some things to note: cell phone service is just okay down there. I have AT&T and there were times my phone would show No Service but then I'd move an inch to my left and I'd have 1 or 2 bars. There is a phone in each cottage, but it's on a party line so you have to share. Also, you cannot use their phones to receive calls; outgoing only. Lastly, there is Wi-Fi but it's slow and spotty. It actually worked better when I went outside to sit on the deck - which would be fine in warmer weather, but it's not always warm. Overall, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Downtown Eureka is a 15-20 minute drive away so it's close enough yet far away for some real rest and relaxation.

The cabins (not sure about rooms but I would be shocked if they didn't) had spices, condiments, coffee, oils, etc. we were provided with an iron and ironing board for last minute ironing. Everything was clean and perfect. The beds and even the pull outs were comfortable! The cleaning crew was also very helpful and friendly! That's the 'normal' stuff I look for in reviews. I wanted you to have that before I tell you the best parts. Upon arriving we met with Bob and discussed some last minute wedding stuff, I trusted a man that I had never met to take care of my wedding, flowers, and cake. Because we rarely get family time, we decided to keep our crew at the cabins and take care of our own meals, but we were welcome to use the bar/seating area in the back. Bob was very welcoming and down to earth. He is so genuine in his efforts that even if he HAD messed up it would have been excusable due to his wonderful demeanor. He didn't though, I wanted a wildflower bouquet and he delivered admirably! I was so impressed I have them hanging to dry at home currently. The cake he had delivered was small and adorable, perfect for us! The ceremony he performed was the perfect length and completely beautiful. I am using the entire ceremony word for word in the wedding album. It is beautiful and meaningful and perfect! I could honestly keep bragging because this place, it's owner and staff are worth it. If you are looking for a quiet out of the way place with breathtaking views for your small intimate wedding, a quiet place to kick back and relax for the weekend and mingle with others doing the same, or just a romantic getaway then this is where you want to be!

27/100 - 2018 Yelp Review Challenge…read more This place was so serene. Being from Kentucky, we go to Gatlinburg for a quick get away. This little cabin reminded me so much of home. I loved everything from the views, down to the decor of the cabin. I got to watch deer graze on grass overlooking a gorgeous lake, while swinging on the balcony reading a book and drinking a glass of wine at 12pm. The birds are always chirping and the cicadas are calling, its just beautiful here. Bob is the owner, and he is probably one of the nicest people I've met. There are also three dogs on the property whom are all so sweet, kid friendly, and love attention. This place was clean, and to my surprise there were no bugs in the cabin! Lol that's just one thing I always assume to find when you're in a woods-y area like this. Theres always bound to be one lone spider hiding in the corner of your room/shower. Everything you needed to live was already in your cabin. Magazines, pots/pans, SPICES; and just like salt and pepper there was garlic salt and garlic powder, cinnamon, Cavenders (idk how to spell it), etc. That's a huge plus to me! There was also, coffee, and all sorts of teas, hot chocolate. This place was just all around, amazing! I would have loved to stay longer.
