Fortunately this place had an available "love shack" to stay for a couple days and it was surprisingly boutique and adorable! The room has a jacuzzi tub, Edison bulbs in the over head light and an air purifier. And a pod coffee machine. The property has a nice in ground pool, a rec room and a clean laundry laundry room. We had such a great time here, in this little campground tucked in Northwest Arkansas, among the hills and trees. The people that work there were so freaking friendly and nice it made it so enjoyable for us. Right when we checked in they guided us to the campsite and helped us park our RV. They then gave us a lot of brochures for points of interest and attractions around the campground and even offered to build us a fire pit. Who does that?! They do because they know what hospitality is. Throughout our whole stay they checked in on us periodically to make sure we were having a good time and asked if we needed anything. This is a small campground with somewhat small campsites. There's enough room for parking large RVs, but the one thing I would say is that the campsites were a little narrow where we actually had to eat and set up a fire in front of our RV. We could not extend out the awning, but that wasn't a big deal for us. The campground was very peaceful, serene, and natural, with lots of stars out at night. The picnic tables were amazing and if any true camper knows, that is very important. They have good LTE coverage in the campground, but their Wi-Fi is slow. It works, but it's slow. Again if you have a good mobile phone carrier the LTE coverage is good. One crazy thing about this place, and I mean this in a good way, is that they have canoes and kayaks you can borrow.All you have to do is request a day and a time and a location and they will bring the canoes and kayaks out to you and then you can paddle around one of Northwest Arkansas's beautiful lakes. That was a game changer for us because we had kids who love to swim and paddle and this made the experience even better. I highly highly recommend this place for a camping trip in Northwest Arkansas. Lori was great and friendly at check in. Check in process was fast and efficient. We came into town for my Husbands birthday to spend it was family and my special needs adult nephew. The room was great for him! Hard wood floors were pretty and made it easy for him to crawl around and play. Nice pool and comfortable bed. The room was very quiet and relaxing. Lori even went out of her way to try to get our room wifi, due to bad weather router was acting up. My only concern was that Saturday night my Husband and Brother went out while me and my nephew watched cartoons and had our time. Someone knocked at our door 2 different times when it was dark and rainy. No one ever announced themselves so I am not sure if it was a camper at the wrong door. That was my only concern is I was alone with a child and was not about to answer the door to a stranger :) As travel a lot and it is hard to find a friendly and helpful owner. From one business owner to another- Thank you. That is how you are suppose to treat people and keep business growing by word of mouth. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here this past weekend. We stayed one night and took advantage of the big jacuzzi tub in the room! Mo was kind enough to take us to and from our dinner. We came here for our 19th anniversary and it's now our favorite place to stay in Eureka. The owners are great people and the accommodations are excellent and a good price. I don't see a reason to stay anywhere else. The owners went as far as to give a ride to downtown so we didn't have to wait on the trolley. Definitely recommend. read more

Green Tree is by far the friendliest RV Park we have ever stayed at! The hosts came and introduced themselves to us, brought us a picnic table, and gave us their phone number to call if we ever needed anything! Sure enough, we called them the next day asking where we could buy a mouse trap for a mouse that had made its way into our RV. They graciously went and purchased us a set of traps and brought them to us within 30 minutes! The absolute best customer service we have ever experienced at an RV Park! The wife and I have stay in the cozy cabins (Love Shacks!) twice now and loved it both times! The accomodations are clean, comfortable, quiet and had all the ammenities we needed. The price is affordable and other places seemed to charge more, for less. The Green Tree Lodge & RV Park is just moments from everything you want to experience in Eureka Springs! The owners (Lori & Lawrence) are super friendly and will do just about anything they can to make your stay happy and comfortable. Under new ownership and it shows! The entire lodge and RV park is getting a makeover and the new owners are very personable and truly care about taking care of you. Compared to other lodging, the rates are GREAT! Outdoor pool, bonfire in the RV/camping area, and the local trolley stops at the front of the business! Stayed in Cabin #2, comfortable queen bed, flat screen TV, Jacuzzi bath, clean! Just west of downtown (just minutes away), so not as much noise. Got a great nights sleep and can't wait to return to see what these new owners do with the entire place! read more

We were celebrating mothers day by taking 88 year old mom on a trip from Sullivan, Missouri to Collinsville, Ok and then to Eureka Springs for a couple days. I found this place on passport america whose ad said there were no restrictions on the PA rate, which was an extra bonus. We were in our motorhome and I wanted to make reservations to lock into a spot in Eureka Springs. I made the reservation on a Tuesday but I also included notes on my online reservation that we may not check-in until Friday or possibly saturday. The owner assured me it wasn't a worry and my credit card wouldn't even be charged until we got there and decided how long we'd stay. Friday morning came and we were still in Oklahoma so I called the resort just to make sure everything was good. I was assured it was. On Saturday morning while we were headed to Eureka Springs we got a call from the owner saying they rented our spot to someone for a Friday night stay, but they were out fishing and couldn't be contacted. The owner apologized but then said they had nowhere to put us (at least not a place with the 50 amp power we required to run our on-demand hot water) but said hopefully the people in our spot would get back before we got there. At one point she even said she would call around to other resorts to see if they had anything. I didn't want to stay anywhere else because no other resorts had unlimited PA rates and weren't valid on Saturdays. While heading to the resort I saw a billboard for Turpentine Creek Refuge which is something I wanted to see and it was on the way. So we stopped there and as we parked the resort called and said they had a spot for us. Well yay...I told them we would be there after in touring the refuge. Side note: the refuge was a cool place and I like the whole concept; but if you go, go either as early as possible or as late as possible. We went around noon and all the animals were in their homes or under shade and not very active. We also found out that you can camp there and come during the feedings. We finally got to the resort and they put us in the only spot they had left which was in the front of the campground right across from the bathrooms and showerhouse. It was fine and both Laura and Laurence the owners were awesome. They had a beautiful pool area but we never use pools which is why I like to find good rates on passport. This park is right off the main road but we never heard any real traffic noise while we were there. As we were settling in, Laura brought over a brochure for things to do in Eureka Springs as well as our invoice. I reminded her that I found this place on Passport and she said they really don't accept passport on weekends but she made an exception this time. I told her she needs to update their notes on the PA website. Anyway, I just paid cash for 3 nights. We got up the next day and after a nice homemade mothers day breakfast, decided to take a trolley ride around the city and scope it out first. Unfortunately mom can't hear very well so we didn't want to blow our money on the historical tram tour just to have to yell at her every time she asked "what did they say dear...". Besides, the trolleys are air conditioned and the trams are all open. Good to know on a hot Arkansas day. As we sat waiting for the trolley right outside the lodge (another perk), Laurence asked if we wanted a ride to the station since he was going towards town. A very nice gesture and we got out of his car just as the trolley was pulling up. After the trolley excursion downtown and surrounding area's we got back to camp to eat lunch and decide what to do. I knew mom wouldn't be able to walk the hills of downtown and hubby hated it the minute we drove thru as it was really congested. AND...we found that the trolley was the best way to get downtown as parking is almost non existent and costly if you take your own car.So we settled on driving to the Christ of the Ozarks statue then to the Crescent hotel with a couple other stops along the way. Hubby complained about having to drive thru downtown but was pleased when GPS took us around not thru downtown. We noticed a few shops werent open on Mondays or Tuesday which made us wonder what we'd be doing the next day. But, by the time we were done with our activities, we were actually done for the day. On Monday we realized that since shopping downtown was out of the question as were any other strenuous activities for mom, we just decided to head back home since mom just loved traveling in the motorhome. So even though we paid for 3 nights, we only stayed for 2 but since we got the PA discount we basically paid for 2 nights at almost the full rate so it all worked out. Bottom line: the resort was nice, the owners awesome. Would I stay again...yes. but only if it was during a girls weekend lol! read more

We were in the RV Park. Great hosts! Pet friendly! Lovely pool and grounds! Trolley stop out front, great way to travel all around this delightful town. Buy one ticket and ride all four lines. Don't miss "The Passion Play." It is set in the largest outdoor theatre in the United States . . . You look down on an entire town backed up by a mountain. It is so large groups of sheep and horses run through the set. The sound and music are amazing . . . you can hear from any seat! The actors run all over this town, in the adjacent garden, and up on the mountainside. They must be in really good shape! Oh, and the buffet before the show is yummy, too. Don't miss the drive thru Zoo just outside of town, you can get a close up encounter with little birds. And, just a short drive away, is the Big cat rescue. Very worthwhile. Take their trolley and learn each animals story. We picked up info on these sites in the office. There's lots more to do . . . so, we plan to go back and get the same site.
