We stopped to eat a sandwich and stretch our legs on a road trip. It was a great stop. The bathrooms were clean, the water was lovely to watch and listen to during lunch. A pretty cool kid area. There is a small boat ramp and a campground right here. Hands down the best part of this park are the peacocks!! Peacocks everywhere!

Really nice campsites, good tree coverage, really clean facilities. It was really well lit. A lot of wildlife, birds making sounds throughout night. NOTE: First come, first serve unless you reserve two weeks in advance through the website.

I have NO complaints, and many compliments to the Staff, the clean bathrooms and showers, the great security measures, and the beautiful, well groomed, but still abundantly natural campground! The campgrounds are spaciously positioned beneath such a great variety of trees along Putah Creek with bathrooms/showers near each grouping. The PEACOCKS are stunning, and it's so great to watch the quail, chipmunks, squirrels, lizards, bluejays, geese and other critters thriving around the grounds, and popping out the trees and shrubbery. Such a peaceful, clean and very well secured campground just below Lake Berryessa that runs along Putah Creek with Paddle Boats & Canoe rentals, Fishing in Putah Creek, or taking the kiddos to the playground across the street as options. I just stayed 3 days, came home and booked another 3 day stay for September! A special SHOUT OUT to all of the STAFF! Very friendly, very ATTENTIVE and they maintain the grounds & restrooms/showers and keep it all "Very Clean".

I had no idea this place existed until I finally went. It's so close to home since it's only 15 minutes away from me. They have a Campground on one side and across is the Day Use area. The area is so peaceful and grounding. Lots of beautiful peacocks roaming the lake the area. Tons of duck families near the Lake. You'll also come across cute Quail families walking in a bunch. Lots of bathrooms in the campground and day use. The rangers are nice and staff is nice. There is only a handful of them so I understand They do the best they can to keep it clean and safe. Some parts may seem run down or need attention, but it's still a place to relax and soak in the sun and nature. FYI- Pay for Parking at office or in Payment Box at Day Use. Fishing is only Catch & Release

We couldn't fully explore because during covid-19. But us both being healthy we safely stopped briefly to visit and take in the sights. Lot of inscriptions on the bridge from people visiting since '82 beautiful views of the lake solano and river. There is campgrounds and a park here but closed for coronavirus times we are in.

I recently found out about this place from a friend's Instagram story when they went. So I made…read moresure to plan a hike here for when I had time. I was able to come here in the middle of the week around noon. The GPS made this place easy to find. There is plenty of parking here at pena adobe park and lagoon valley park. The hike is located at lagoon valley park, so don't mix those up. You do have to pay $5 for parking, and the machine kiosk was broken when I went, but you can still pay through the park mobile app, which is what I did. The hike is listed as moderate, but felt borderline difficult to me (maybe I'm just out of shape). There is a lot of up hill when you first start, and because there wasn't a lot of shade combined with me going on the hottest day of the week (low 80 degrees), it did make it feel more difficult. After I parked, I was a bit confused on where to go so had to ask someone finishing up their hike for the direction. I was instructed to go up the main trail past the gate for the main trail to the lighthouse at the top. There are lots of trails here, but the one to the top of the hill is the most popular, and probably the most difficult). Once you park in the lot by the lake/pond, you cross the road to the grassy side and follow that trail to the gate that keeps the cows inside. There is another easier hike/walk your can take around the lake/pond, which is mostly flat. The views on this hike are great. Despite it being a little warmer, the breeze helped a lot. I liked the views and made it to the top after about 1 and a half hours. In total, it took me about 2 hours to finish the hike. And that's with a 20 minute break halfway going uphill. Going downhill is a lot faster. I'll be back for one of the other trails and how to bring family and friends to join.

We made a quick stop here so that I could do some birding while on a roadtrip through the area…read more What a great park! There is a great trail around the lake where you can view many waterbirds. Trees and bushes hide smaller birds and provide shade in spots. It looked like they had lots of picnic tables, playgrounds for kids etc. We were not here long, so I'm sure there was a lot more to see and do.

It was certainly worth the wait…read more It's not a long hike, but there is a little bit of climbing on rocks, especially towards the end I suggest wearing good shoes with traction The scenery along the way to the falls is lovely and changes throughout the hike. Meadows, fir trees, boulders, and ponds! We made it to the Falls on the last day of April. I would think that during the summer they wouldn't be flowing as greatly as they were now. Sitting below the falls was majestic. We also did the hike at the fork of the road, which eventually ends due to all the brush on the trail, and it was lovely as well with a beautiful pond

I always enjoy a hike to waterfall but it was quite disappointing that this fall was just a…read moretrickle. Though it's understandable because it is summer that the water flow is probably way better after some good rain. To get here, Google maps was help to get me to the parking lot. However, from the there i was quite confused reading others yelp or goggle reviews. Hopefully I can help those going. When driving up the hill from Napa, on the right you drive pass the Pacific Union College sign then pass by the city Angwin sign, immediately you will turn to your LEFT pass the baseball field into the gravel parking lot. From the baseball parking lot cross the street and walk along the bike path as you are walking against traffic flow. You will go back and pass the Pacific Union college sign and then you will see a bike path sign see pics. You walk on the pavement path for 6 min and then see the sign of Linda Fall preserve. See the map and the caution of the wild mushroom you should not eat. The path to the Falls is about 20 minutes in and 20 minutes out. You wil see your firstb Linda Falls sign. Then you will see a second Linda Falls sign. After the 2nd one be prepared for slippery dry dirt. You will want shoes with good grip. Soon you will be at Falls. Ther are lots of boulders to climb over to get close to the Falls. Its a small area and gets crowded. I suggest going before 11am. In my opinion age 6 and above it accurate. You will have to help kids the last 5- 10 minutes of the hike. Do not suggest infants and or in carriers. Im Glad I did this Falls hike while in Napa so I can write about and tell other people. It's a nice hike to get out with the family and friends, eat a snack or lunch at the Falls and head back. I recommend this hike just wish the beginning of the trail to get there had clear signs up.
